Bahrain's Ministry of Interior lands silver at Windsor in style l Bahrain's Riders Jump Into the Spotlight
Bahrain's Ministry of Interior showjumping team secured a strong second place at the Windsor Royal Horse Show in the UK, held from May 14 to 18. Going up against 54 top riders from 18 teams, Bahrain's riders showed they can compete with the best on the world stage. The event, first held in 1943, was a favourite of Queen Elizabeth II and is now attended by HM King Charles III at Windsor Castle.
Adding to the occasion's prestige, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH The Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa were all present.

Speaking exclusively to TDT, Mr. Abdulla Attiya, President of Bahrain Aquatics, said:
'The Royal Windsor Horse Show 2025 was a wonderful celebration of heritage, tradition, and connection. What stood out most to me was the strong and genuine bond between the Bahrain Royal Family and the British Royal Family, a relationship built on mutual respect and longstanding ties. It was great to see so many people with a connection to Bahrain, whether they've lived or worked there, all coming together for this occasion. His Majesty the King was incredibly gracious, greeting everyone warmly and creating a truly welcoming atmosphere. It was a memorable event that brought people together in a meaningful way.'
