TDT | Manama Bahrain's Ministry of Interior lands silver at Windsor in style l Bahrain's Riders Jump Into the Spotlight Bahrain's Ministry of Interior showjumping team secured a strong second place at the Windsor Royal Horse Show in the UK, held from May 14 to 18. Going up against 54 top riders from 18 teams, Bahrain's riders showed they can compete with the best on the world stage. The event, first held in 1943, was a favourite of Queen Elizabeth II and is now attended by HM King Charles III at Windsor Castle. Adding to the occasion's prestige, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH The Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa were all present. Praise from the Top Major General Abdulaziz Mayouf Al Rumaihi, Director General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, hailed the achievement as a product of unwavering support from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He credited the ongoing success of Bahraini riders to the strategic vision and commitment of His Highness in elevating equestrian sports both locally and globally.
