WWE Raw results: Sami Zayn advances to King of the Ring semifinals after LA Knight's surprise interference

Time of India10-06-2025
Sami Zayn has taken a huge step forward in the King of the Ring 2025 tournament. The RAW star defeated Bron Breakker, Dominik Mysterio, and Penta in a wild Fatal 4-Way match to book his spot in the semifinals. While Zayn's underdog story continues, the match also saw some unexpected drama, thanks to LA Knight.
The contest was chaotic from the start. Bron Breakker looked like the strongest man in the ring and tried to dominate everyone. Penta had the crowd behind him and nearly won it after hitting the Mexican Destroyer on Dominik. But things changed when Breakker pulled him out and speared him on the floor. Just as Breakker was about to go back into the ring, LA Knight ran in and hit him with a BFT out of nowhere.
LA Knight strikes back at Seth Rollins' faction
LA Knight's appearance wasn't just random. This was payback. On SmackDown last week, both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked LA Knight to weaken him before Money in the Bank. Then, the duo ruined his chance at winning the Money in the Bank briefcase during the ladder match, making way for Rollins to climb up the ladder and claim the briefcase for the second time in his career. Knight hasn't forgotten, and on RAW, he made sure Breakker paid for it during the King of the Ring qualifier match.

His surprise attack helped Sami Zayn pick up the win. With Breakker out cold and Penta taken out earlier, Zayn hit Dominik with a Helluva Kick and got the three-count.
This result puts Zayn into the King of the Ring semifinals. He will now face the winner of Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. Aleister Black vs. Carmelo Hayes.
Sami Zayn's win couldn't have come at a better time. He has been dealing with his own battles against Seth Rollins' group. Rollins, the current Mr. Money in the Bank, hasn't held back when it comes to playing mind games. On top of that, Karrion Kross continues to taunt Zayn, saying he doesn't have what it takes to be World Champion and will never win gold unless he changes sides.
But Zayn has never been the one to follow orders. He believes in doing things his way. And now, with the King of the Ring tournament offering a shot at the World title at SummerSlam, this might finally be his biggest chance. The fans are behind him, and the story feels just right.
