Woman Irritated by Plane Passenger Behind Her—Then She Sees Who It Is

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A tired woman wanted to avoid a fight after being touched by the plane passenger sitting behind her, but what she realized two hours later left her cracking up. On a redeye flight from Palm Beach International Airport in Florida to New York, Instagram user @curly_travel_magic kept feeling a passenger behind her kicking her feet. She let it slide the first two times it happened to avoid a confrontation. However, a third time started to put her over the edge. "I did get just a little upset after the third touch," she told Newsweek via TikTok. "But I never thought of kicking back. I wanted to avoid a fight." Each time she was touched, she kept wondering how someone could have such long toes or feet. But with the lights off on the night flight, she couldn't see. Curiosity finally got the best of her. Screenshot from a June 6 Instagram video of a woman wondering why the passenger behind her kept kicking her feet. @curly_travel_magic/Instagram She turned on her phone flashlight during the last few minutes of the flight to discover not a person kicking her, but a dog. Stunned and frankly relieved, she started filming and posted her realization in a June 6 Instagram video. The dog's head poked out from under her seat with his snoot by her heels. This finally explained the wetness she felt. Being the good boy he was, he kept quiet the entire trip. She couldn't resist saying hello, so she gently tapped his head. Thinking back, the situation could've ended worse. She wrote in the text on the video that she was glad she didn't lose her temper when she originally thought a person was not respecting flight etiquette. What Do the Comments Say? Instagram viewers immediately expressed their jealousy, wondering why they never get great seatmates like this dog. The clip reached more than 589,000 views and 13,700 likes as of Thursday. "Oh wow, I'll have those slimy feet any time. Beautiful little guy," commented one person. Another added: "I'm not a dog person, but I'd rather have a doggy there than somebody's feet." A third pointed out: "You must have regretted knowing this late." The original poster responded that she would have cuddled the dog more if she had known sooner. Princess Kate stunned in a red cape dress for a State Banquet held to mark the French President's visit to Britain this week, but it is by no means the first time her capes have turned heads. The Princess of Wales also stunned in a gold cape dress for the No Time to Die James Bond premiere in 2021 and for a 2023 State Visit by the South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol. Here are some of the best capes that have caught the eyes of fashion experts and royal watchers. Burton designed Kate's wedding dress while at Alexander McQueen and the princess has worn McQueen numerous further times since, while Burton was creative director. The designer began working for the French luxury brand Givenchy in 2024 and Macron's visit gave Kate the perfect opportunity to go back to Burton in celebration of French culture. It featured a floor-length cape and a metallic look, which she paired with a Grecian style updo. Even Danial Craig, who played Bond in the film, was reportedly impressed, telling the princess, "You look jolly lovely," according to U.K. broadsheet The Times. Words that could have been spoken by Bond himself.
