Is Chase Brown a 'must draft' fantasy first rounder?

Video Transcript
Chase Brown here in the 3rd round.
This is a guy that I'm targeting basically in every draft.
Last year from week 4 on, he was a top 7 fantasy back and top 7 fantasy points per game in half PPR leagues.
I don't see any reason why he can't do that again.
Hopefully, the Bengals can get the contract situation sorted out with some of those defensive guys that are unhappy.
Let's get those guys in there.
I think this team could be better.
I think he could get more scoring opportunity.
I'm not that worried there about any of the other options in that backfield.
Zach Moss coming back from injury, Taj Brooks, the rookie.
I think they're just going to be complimentary pieces.
I don't think they're coming for the top role by any means.
And Chase Brown proved last year he can handle big workloads and he could put up good fantasy points.
I think this guy might be like a round one value that people are getting in the 3rd round right now.
I highly recommend everybody should be out there trying to get him.
I think that, uh, Chase Brown is where the tear drops off to like another group at running back, cause I kind of hesitated between, I took Lamar Jackson at the top of the 3rd round, and Brown was maybe like my last tier of running backs where I do think there's a drop off to the Kenneth Walker, Bruce Hall, Kron Williams, like that James Cook, that group of guys.
That was where running backs sort of dropped off to me, and I really will come back to elite quarterbacks cause I decided to go with Lamar Jackson there instead of Chase Brown, but I do think that's kind of the guy, the last one I see in this group of like, all right, like locked in running back one status.

PFF ranks Broncos CB Pat Surtain 27th among best NFL players
The NFL offseason is winding down as training camps are underway across the league. With teams gearing up for the 2025 NFL season, it's only right for publications such as Pro Football Focus to start ranking the top 50 NFL players. Dalton Wasserman and Trevor Sikkema have Myles Garrett, Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow as the top three players on their list. Denver Broncos star cornerback Patrick Surtain II was also recognized, landing at No. 27 on the list. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year got a lot of praise from the two writers. 'At just 25, Surtain already has a Defensive Player of the Year award to his name," they wrote for PFF. "In four NFL seasons, he's been a Pro Bowler three times and a First-Team All-Pro twice. In 2024, he earned an 87.4 coverage grade while allowing only 0.53 yards per cover snap and just 52 targets all season — a clear sign of how often quarterbacks avoided him. Sustaining success at cornerback is notoriously difficult, but Surtain is proving he has the rare talent to do it.' A tremendous honor for the 25-year-old. This season, let's see if Surtain will compound on his accomplishments.

How to watch Top Rank Boxing's TV finale: Xander Zayas, Jorge Garcia battle for world title
Rising Puerto Rican star Xander Zayas will take on Mexican veteran Jorge Garcia this Saturday at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Perhaps more significant after the final bell, which will crown a new WBO junior middleweight world champion, is that this main event will be the final Top Rank boxing show on ESPN. Advertisement Here's how to watch it live. Live coverage is also available on ESPN+. Top Rank and ESPN decided to have their final fight card together, showcasing perhaps their hottest prospect in the former's half-century of existence as a boxing promotion. In 2019, then 16-year-old Zayas became the youngest signee in Top Rank history, a company that has promoted greats like Muhammad Ali and Manny Pacquiao. Now 22, Zayas (21-0, 13 KOs) looks to win his first world title since turning pro six years ago. He faces upset-minded 28-year-old Garcia (33-4, 26 KOs). On the undercard is 2023 Ring Magazine Prospect of the Year Bruce 'Shu Shu' Carrington (15-0, 9 KOs). Carrington, 28, takes on Mateus Heita for the WBC interim featherweight world title. After Saturday's fights, it will be the first time in more than 80 years that boxing will not be shown on linear television in the United States. The first boxing TV broadcast in U.S. history was in 1939, a heavyweight bout between Max Baer and Lou Nova. Top Rank was the last major boxing promotion in the country that had a media rights deal with a 'mainstream' TV network. The boxing company's agreement with ESPN expires in August after the parties reached a seven-year deal in 2018. In those seven years, ESPN broadcast some of the biggest fights in the sport's history, including the second and third heavyweight title fights between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Other boxing promotions — such as Golden Boy, Premier Boxing Champions and Matchroom — have switched to streaming platforms like DAZN, Amazon Prime and Netflix to show their respective fighters. Top Rank has yet to announce a new broadcasting partner. Streaming and ticketing links in this article are provided by partners of The Athletic. Restrictions may apply.
