Warriors' Kevin Durant trade involvement official in 7-team blockbuster that makes NBA history

Yahoo6 hours ago
The Golden State Warriors and Kevin Durant have crossed paths again.
This time, it's in the NBA's largest-ever trade, a seven-team deal.
It's only a brief passing of destinies for the Warriors and KD. The original framework had Durant going from the Rockets to the Suns. Then the Warriors, Lakers, Timberwolves, Hawks and Nets all piled on to combine some different asset movement into one giant conglomeration.

Marc Spears reported the trade details late Thursday night.
The Warriors receive draft rights to two players in the dealing: Alex Toohey (from Phoenix) and Jahmai Mashack (from Houston).
They send out the draft rights to Koby Brea to the Suns.

It's a small role in a massive deal.
It took place because the league's moratorium didn't allow any of these separate transactions to actually be completed yet. So all these teams could get together and figure out a way to balance out everything best.
It's a small piece of history for the Warriors, and they get to share it with Durant.
