Representatives for the pair told DailyMail.com that 'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.'
The split was all but cemented when Orlando, 48, attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's star-studded wedding alone in Venice last weekend.
He shared a cryptic Instagram post about 'loneliness' and 'darkness' days ago.
Meanwhile, this weekend Katy let her hair down during a break from her Lifetimes tour, after she broke down in tears onstage at her final Australian show.
A source told Us Weekly in late June: 'Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,' while adding that the separation has not been 'contentious.'
'Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life,' it was noted.
The Teenage Dream hitmaker was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.
The Us Weekly source added that Katy and Orlando's breakup had been 'a long time coming' and that their relationship had been 'tense for months.'

In the wake of the separation, the actor busied himself with socializing at Jeff and Lauren's star-studded nuptials.

When it emerged that Orlando was going to the wedding by himself, Katy's absence was explained as a scheduling conflict with her Lifetimes tour in Australia.
At the wedding, Orlando mingled with a number of celebrity guests, including Kim Kardashian and Sydney Sweeney.
After news spread of her split from Orlando, Katy fought back tears while addressing an audience in Adelaide, holding her hands in the shape of a heart and saying: 'Thank you, Australia, for always being there for me.'
For his part, Orlando shared nebulous social media posts about 'loneliness' and 'darkness,' intensifying the speculation about his relationship status.

After a year of musical chairs in fashion, September is gearing up to be one of its biggest show months ever: with debut collections slated from new creative directors at brands including Matthieu Blazy at Chanel and ex-Balenciaga designer Demna at Gucci. On Sunday in Paris, Michael Rider, who recently succeeded Hedi Slimane at Celine, decided to get a head start. In an amuse-bouche for how he plans to shape the brand's future, Rider showed a mixture of men's and womenswear. Chunky bangles were stacked on forearms. Giant chain link necklaces were mishmashed. Keyrings jingled with everything from dice to miniature Eiffel Towers. Rider said he wanted to inject an element of fun. 'I would never want to be perceived as cynical. Having a sense of humour in the luxury space is a beautiful thing,' he said. Bags ranging from colossal woven baskets and enormous leather totes to dainty pouches were emblazoned with logos ranging from a simple C to a 'Triomphe' monogram, first created by the house's founder Céline Vipiana in 1971. Rider said he was drawn to a logo's fluid nature. 'They can move from something really tasteful to quickly something that is very different from that. They can be many things.'
