Prime Video has released the official trailer for the third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, teasing major developments in Belly's love life, emotional stakes, and a continued soundtrack featuring Taylor Swift. Set to Swift's songs 'Daylight' and 'Red,' the trailer shows Belly (Lola Tung) in a committed relationship with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), culminating in an engagement. However, her connection to first love Conrad (Christopher Briney) resurfaces, setting the stage for an emotional conclusion to the show's central love triangle.
Season 3 picks up at the end of Belly's junior year of college as she prepares for another summer at Cousins Beach. According to Prime Video's synopsis, her future with Jeremiah feels certain—until unexpected events pull Conrad back into her life. Now standing on the brink of adulthood, Belly must make a final decision about which brother truly holds her heart.
In the trailer, Belly reflects, 'First loves are important. But they're not as important as lasts… Jeremiah is my future. This is the way it is supposed to be,' signaling the intensity of her emotional journey.
Longtime fans have speculated whether the series will remain faithful to Jenny Han's book trilogy. In the final novel, We'll Always Have Summer, Jeremiah and Belly go through a breakup after he cheats. Though they reunite and become engaged, the wedding is called off. Belly then studies abroad and rekindles her relationship with Conrad through letters, eventually marrying him at Cousins Beach in a flash-forward.
Returning cast members include Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, and Jackie Chung. New cast additions this season include Isabella Briggs, Kristen Connolly, Sofia Bryant, Lily Donoghue, Zoé de Grand'Maison, Emma Ishta, and Tanner Zagarino.
Season 3, consisting of 11 episodes, premieres on Prime Video on July 16. Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka return as showrunners and executive producers, alongside Karen Rosenfelt, Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen of wiip.

Reacher season 4 recasts Jay Baruchel with Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette

Production on the fourth season of Prime Video's hit action series Reacher is underway, with Alan Ritchson set to return as the iconic Jack Reacher. However, the show has undergone a casting shake-up following the departure of Jay Baruchel due to an undisclosed personal matter. As first reported by Deadline, Baruchel, 43, was originally cast to play Jacob Merrick, a small-town police officer. But just weeks after the casting announcement, he exited the production, prompting a swift recast. Actor Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette has now taken over the role. Rodriguez-Marquette is best known for his performance as Chris Lucado in HBO's Barry. Baruchel, known for roles in How to Train Your Dragon, This Is the End, and BlackBerry, has not publicly commented on his departure or the circumstances behind it. He has been married to Rebecca-Jo Dunham since 2019. Season 4 of Reacher is slated for release in 2026 and is based on Lee Child's 2009 novel Gone Tomorrow, the 13th book in the bestselling Jack Reacher series. The show debuted in 2022 and quickly gained a strong following, with Ritchson's portrayal of the title character receiving praise for aligning more closely with the physicality of the literary version than previous screen adaptations. Tom Cruise previously played Jack Reacher in two feature films, beginning in 2012 under the direction of Christopher McQuarrie. Actor Jai Courtney, who appeared in the first film, recently reflected on missing out on the lead role for the TV series. Speaking to Forbes, he praised Ritchson's performance and expressed admiration for the actor's growing career, particularly his upcoming role in Netflix's War Machine alongside Courtney himself. Despite the casting change, anticipation remains high for the upcoming season.

'Love Island' fans cry foul as Jeremiah and Hannah leave villa after public vote

Love Island USA's latest fire‑pit ceremony drew sharp criticism when Hannah and Jeremiah were eliminated after public voting. Nic's text confirmed the public had chosen the bottom three men and women. For the women, Iris, Hannah and Amaya were vulnerable; the men's lowest were Jeremiah, Austin and Pepe. Yet the final decision lay with the cast. Chelley and Taylor announced Hannah and Jeremiah's exit, prompting widespread viewer outcry. Many viewers expressed frustration over the elimination results, alleging that the public vote was manipulated. Fans claimed technical issues with the voting app prevented them from casting their votes and criticised the decision to let islanders choose who went home, especially when popular contestants were among those at risk. The uproar grew when fans noted an error message they received while voting, which they suspect affected results. Despite heartfelt deliberations among Olandria, Cierra, Huda, Chelley, Nic, Taylor and Ace, choosing between close friends sparked emotional drama. Chelley said it was 'tearing apart' the group before tears followed Hannah's exit. With the show halfway through, the Islanders are gearing up for Casa Amor, Love Island USA's midpoint twist where original contestants split into two villas with new bombshells which usually kicks off around Episode 20, and runs for 3–5 episodes. Love Island USA Season 7 airs six nights weekly (Thu–Tue) at 9 pm ET on Peacock, with Wednesdays off.

Huda Mustafa faces turning point with Jeremiah after 'Love Island USA' fan vote drama

Love Island USA season 7 took a dramatic turn after a fan vote split key couples, leaving Huda Mustafa single and uncertain about her connection with Jeremiah Brown. The vote led to new pairings, including Jeremiah with Iris Kendall, while Huda was left vulnerable and upset. After Charlie Georgiou's exit, Huda expected support from Jeremiah. Instead, he focused on Charlie's departure and avoided checking in with her. Huda shared her disappointment with other Islanders, while Jeremiah stayed silent. Later, Ace Greene and Nic Vansteenberghe told Jeremiah they thought splitting from Huda was a good move. They encouraged him to explore new options, confirming doubts Huda had started to feel. When Jeremiah returned from a date with Iris and showed clear interest in her, Huda overheard him talking and confronted him, leading to an emotional fallout. Ace and Nic later spoke with Huda directly. They expressed concern about how Jeremiah had treated her, and how the relationship was affecting both sides. Their words pushed Huda to reflect more on her own feelings and whether continuing with Jeremiah made sense. By the end of the episode, tensions peaked. Jeremiah asked Huda to talk in private, but the conversation went nowhere. She told him his behaviour had been selfish, and he defended himself instead of listening. The moment made it clear that Huda was ready to step back. Love Island USA airs new episodes daily (except Wednesdays) at 9 p.m. EDT on Peacock.
