Beyoncé closes out Washington D.C.-area concerts with high-powered show: 'Ya'll lit'
The Grammy-winning singer kicked off her final show at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland — five miles east of Washington, D.C — around 8:25 p.m local time on July 7. The concert marked her second of two shows at the stadium on her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour.
"Hello!" Beyoncé greeted the electric crowd, donning a new head-turning look: a dazzling red, white, and blue fringe bodysuit paired with sparkly, knee-high red fringe boots and a fluffy, floor-length white coat.
She first launched her DMV area stint with a dazzling performance on the Fourth of July. The holiday made for an especially significant night given the the messages and motifs pertaining to country music, America's complex past and its ongoing cultural reckoning. And Beyoncé kept the momentum going during Monday's show.
The crowd's energy amplified the night. During Beyoncé's 'Ya Ya' performance she told the explosive crowd, 'Y'all lit,' after they followed up her call-and-response segment with a crisp reply.
As fans know, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary.
Of course, the tour has been a huge showcase of fashion and creativity. Each night, Beyoncé continues to blend high fashion and cowboy couture, keeping fans on the edge of their seats as they anticipate a new look. There's been many looks incorporating Western-glam: sparkly chaps, cowboy hats, boots and piles of fringe.
During the July 7 show, fashion was at the forefront once again as Beyoncé debuted many new looks.
Many of them were a nod to the album's message and the album itself.
'I thank you from the depths of me. Y'all have no idea how much you feed us,' she said as she closed out the final show in the area. "We love you, D.C."
Of course, Beyoncé first released her eighth studio album, "Cowboy Carter," in March 2024. It has since made history and broken multiple records. As Beyoncé's first country album, she deliberately featured country legends and emerging Black country artists alike. She became the first Black woman to win best country album at the 2025 Grammys and also took home album of the year.
Her next stop will be Atlanta on July 10. The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26.

Under-$10 Amazon Prime Day Jewelry Deals I'm Buying ASAP
After being up since the crack of dawn—giving my all to find you the best Amazon Prime Day sales—I truly thought I'd uncovered it all. I found the chicest fashion deals, unbelievable discounts on exercise dresses and pajama sets, and jaw-dropping markdowns on travel essentials. But then I came across the Prime Day jewelry deals… and even I was taken aback by how top-tier they are. And you're talking to someone who legit does this all day, every day for a living. But what really stopped me in my tracks was the crystal Swarovski Emily Tennis Bracelet, currently going for 50% off. Keep in mind, on a regular day, it's priced at $149, which, coincidentally, is about the average cost of a dinner for two at a nice New York City restaurant. Though that's neither here nor there because this deal speaks for itself! Covered in stunning white crystals and set on a solid cable chain, this elegant piece is the quintessential tennis bracelet of your dreams—the one you've always wanted but never thought you could afford. With its timeless, classic design, it's the perfect accessory for everyday wear or a touch of glamour. Stack it with similar styles to really liven up the look. Hold up, though! While I was deep in deal-hunting mode, I stumbled across even more heavily discounted jewelry—hoops, necklaces, hand chains, you name it—that I had to share with the class. Think viral dupes and TikTok favorites, all at prices too good to pass up (I'm talking under $10). Your jewelry collection is about to be on point! These Homeowners Found a SECRET Note From the Past—and It's Melting Hearts on TikTok
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Homeowners on TikTok are falling in love with the sweet surprise a couple received when moving into their new home. TikTok user @madisonelizabethgrace posted a now-viral video of the sentimental gift her and her husband, David, were given by their home's previous owners. Included was a note and the photographic history of their newly purchased residence. "The prior owner (who owned the house since it was originally built 30+ years ago) left us the sweetest surprise - a note saying 'this is your house…from the beginning' along with Polaroids that she took of the home construction & build," Madison wrote in the caption of her TikTok post. Selling a home is a process often filled with emotion, and it often includes leaving behind a place you loved and hoping someone else will care for it the same way you did. Passing along the stories of memories made in that house to the next owners is a way to help keep the history alive, and Madison's former homeowners aren't the only ones doing it. "Our previous owner did a few sweet things like this and now I still text her about updates we make or questions etc, even told her we made their spare bedroom into a nursery," commented TikTok user WinnyTheAussie. Comments flooded Madison's TikTok with adoration for the transparent thoughtfulness of the photos and the feelings they evoked, leaving many viewers in love with the idea and fellow homeowners chiming in with their own similar experiences. "Our home came with a binder. Pictures, permits, anything they changed over the years. My favorite is that on our wall is a photo of the original homeowners on the front porch. Over 100 years later and that photo has been passed down from one homeowner to the next..." read a comment from TikTok user kaymfka. Numerous responses to the video of people sharing their own stories proved the idea of gifting the next owners the story of your former home is becoming an ongoing trend, and we're here for this incredible gesture. Whether you've recently moved into a new place, or are updating the house you've called home for years, consider taking photos of any changes you make and documenting the history over time. Not only will future owners enjoy learning about the evolution of their house, but you'll have memories to share with your family, photos to hang on the wall, and stories to reminisce on for years to come. Madison has continued to chronicle the transformation of her new house, this time in video form. She posts TikToks of her and David sprucing up their new abode, tackling the unexpected tasks of homeownership, and prepping a nursery for their baby, due later this summer. Needless to say, they're continuing the history of love and heart in their beloved new (old) home. Follow on Instagram and TikTok. Kehlani Denies Chrisean Rock's Claim That They Fell Out Over Shared Past With Blueface
Kehlani is denying statements made by Chrisean Rock claiming the singer distanced themself from the reality star due to a shared romantic past with rapper Blueface. The drama began after Kehlani unfollowed Rock on social media after footage of the young mom yelling at a man outside from the window of a Zeus Network event went viral. According to the 'After Hours' singer, however, distancing themself from Rock had nothing to do with that incident. They then explained via TikTok that they agreed to go to the gym with Rock after being asked at church. However, something transpired that made them separate themself 'quite literally the next day due to my own reason.' In response, Rock hopped on Instagram Live for a session with followers, where she agreed that she met Kehlani at church and they agreed to a joint gym session. She also claimed, however, that the Bay Area songstress insisted she get her Blueface tattoo removed before confessing to sleeping with the 'Thotiana' rapper in an unprompted reveal. Rock then claims they moved past the moment and were 'still cool,' even praying together. The next day, at the gym, she stepped away to take a call from Blueface — with whom she shares one son — and asked him about the claim, which Rock believes led to the singer taking issue with her, and ultimately, unfollowing. Kehlani has denied Rock's claim, sharing an Instagram Story from Paris declaring, 'What do I have to gain from this?' She also re-shared a post from a friend who claims they were there the whole time, and that the singer 'never said that once or even hinted at it.' 'Amen, thank you,' Kehlani captioned the re-post. The Crash artist also denied sleeping with Blueface in three posts they've since deleted, in one calling out Rock for making up a 'nasty rumor and lying on me' because they separated themself from the online personality.
