Time of India3 days ago

Shefali Jariwala, who rose to fame with the hit track Kaanta Laga, became a household name once again during her stint on
Bigg Boss 13
in 2019. Her appearance on the show brought back attention not just for her strong gameplay but also because of her on-screen dynamic with the late actor
Sidharth Shukla
, her former partner.
During a candid conversation in an interview with Siddharth Kannanback in 2020, Shefali opened up about her experience sharing the Bigg Boss house with Sidharth. She acknowledged that despite their past, their bond during the show was civil and mature. Their interactions grew stronger, driven by shared interests in topics like science, space, and even futuristic transport like bullet trains.
Parag Tyagi's Reaction: Was There Any Insecurity?
When asked whether her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, felt any insecurity about her reuniting with her ex on national television, Shefali was clear in her response. She said that Parag had full faith in her and that their relationship was built on a strong foundation of trust and communication.
She insisted that at no point did her bond with Sidharth create discomfort at home. In fact, Parag reportedly knew about Shefali's past with Sidharth even before her appearance on the show and remained supportive throughout.
Past Relationship and Cordial Ties
Shefali and Sidharth were in a relationship over 15 years ago, long before she married Parag in 2014. Despite their breakup, they remained respectful toward each other. Shefali had previously shared in another interview that even after parting ways, whenever they crossed paths in the industry, their interactions were always polite and warm. This mutual understanding was evident in the Bigg Boss house as well.
After Sidharth Shukla's untimely death in 2021, Shefali paid tribute to him on social media with a nostalgic picture from their Bigg Boss days. In her final post before her sudden passing, she remembered Sidharth with a heartfelt message, simply expressing that she was thinking of him. This emotional gesture resurfaced in public memory after Shefali's own tragic demise due to cardiac arrest at the age of 42.

Arjun Kapoor's Sister Anshula Refuses To Participate On Salman Khan's Bigg Boss: 'Not A Game Show'

Last Updated: Anshula Kapoor says she's not ready for Bigg Boss after The Traitors, calling it too long and not her kind of game show. After impressing audiences with her stint on The Traitors, Arjun Kapoor's sister Anshula Kapoor has made it clear that she has no plans to participate in Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss. In a recent interview with Zoom, Anshula explained why the popular TV format doesn't appeal to her and why she isn't ready to take it up anytime soon. Anshula said, 'Traitors is not Bigg Boss. At least if you look at the original concept of what Traitors is supposed to be, it's not Bigg Boss. It's a psychological show. More importantly, the time frame in which the shows are shot is very different. Traitors is a two-week game, and Bigg Boss is much longer and larger." She added that the nature of Bigg Boss doesn't resonate with her, especially at this point in her life. 'I don't watch Bigg Boss, so I don't really know what the current Bigg Boss looks like. But I know I am not cut out for it just yet, right now. I don't think I will be able to enjoy myself in that environment. I do not believe Bigg Boss is a game show," she said. Anshula recently made her reality show debut on The Traitors, which is currently streaming on Prime Video India. Hosted by Karan Johar and produced in collaboration with BBC Studios India and All3Media International, the show is based on the international format and combines strategy, betrayal, and suspense. The first nine episodes are available now, with new twists and episodes dropping every Thursday at 8 PM. The star-studded cast of The Traitors also features Maheep Kapoor, Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, Jasmine Bhasin, Elnaaz Nourouzi, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Sudhanshu Pandey, Lakshmi Manchu, Mukesh Chhabra, and rapper Raftaar, among others. While Bigg Boss continues to be a major draw for Indian reality TV audiences, Anshula Kapoor's stance is clear that she prefers shorter, more strategic formats and isn't currently inclined toward high-drama, long-haul shows.
