Police urge man to hand himself in after shoots fired at Clarkson house
Police on Wednesday said they were searching for Jason James Cockie over the shooting, which happened about 10pm on Tuesday in Clarkson.
Detective Senior Constable Damian Webb said it was believed a shot was fired at the house, and Cockie may have information relating to the incident.
One person was home at the time, but they were not injured. The house only had minor damage.
'We believe that Mr Cockie is known to the persons at [the house] but our main priority at the moment is to locate Mr Cockie as we believe he may pose a risk to the public,' Webb said.
Webb said Cockie was believed to be in possession of a gun.
Police said the investigation into the house shooting led them to another house on the same street.
'[Police] have conducted a search of a house in Clarkson where a quantity of drugs, cash, weapons, including a firearm and ammunition, were located,' Webb said.
It is unclear whether the house is related to the shooting incident.

Man dies after being tasered by WA police
A man who was tasered by police in Perth has died after suffering an apparent medical episode. Police were called to a property on Priestley St in Embelton about 12.30am on Friday following reports a man had entered a house occupied by people he did not know and smashed multiple windows. 'Police attended the residence and located the man in the rear of the garden of the property,' a police statement read. 'Officers attempted to negotiate with the man, but he continued to behave in an aggressive manner. 'A taser was deployed by an officer and the man was restrained, and he appeared to suffer a medical episode.' The West Australian reported the man was not conscious or breathing when paramedics were called to the home about 1.20am, and upon his arrival to hospital about 2.20am attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. WA Police Assistant Commissioner Martin Haime said an investigation would be conducted by officers from the internal investigations unit because the man had been in police custody prior to his death. Police reported that officers administered first aid to the man and performed CPR until the arrival of St John WA. Paramedics transported him to Royal Perth Hospital. Mr Haime extended police thoughts to the man's family and loved ones, praising first responders for their rapid response before requesting patience while the investigation was still in its early stages. A report will also be prepared for the coroner.

Indian police say fake ambassador ran bogus embassy for micronations
Indian police say they have arrested a man who spent a decade posing as the ambassador for a number of micronations. Harshvardhan Jain ran the operation out of a rented house in Ghaziabad, on the outskirts of New Delhi, police said. He claimed to be representing Westarctica, Seborga, Paulovia and Ladonia among others. Police say they found cash, luxury cars, rubber stamps, passports, identity cards, and diplomatic car number plates at the property. "He also used a lot of manipulated photographs with renowned people to racketeer and gain commission from people," said Sushil Ghule, a senior police officer with Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force. Mr Jain is in police custody. Investigations are underway to determine how many people he duped and if anyone travelled overseas. He had been running the operation since 2016, and said he was appointed the honorary consul of Westarctica and an advisor to Seborga, Indian media reported. Mr Jain is believed to have used his made-up designations to lure people into securing jobs abroad, then charging them to open bank accounts and buy properties. They all describe themselves as micronations. Micronations are entities that claim to be sovereign states; they are not recognised by established governments and are not considered a threat. Westarctica is located in the west of Antarctica. It is led by Grand Duke Travis McHenry, who laid claimsto the region in 2001. Seborga is a village in Italy, near the border with southern France. While geographically located in Sweden, Ladonia's website says it does not have "strictly defined borders". There is not much information on Paulovia. There are about 130 micronations across the globe, with Australia home to over a third of them. They include the once-famous Principality of Hutt River, which has now been ceded back to the Commonwealth. Hutt River was formed in 1970 after a stoush with the West Australian government over wheat production quotas. More recently, a political protest over the perceived lack of action around same-sex marriage led to the establishment of the Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands. ABC/Reuters
