Ammon News - The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) warned Jordanians on Tuesday against consuming four types of alcoholic beverages, after cases of poisoning were reported due to them containing methyl alcohol (methanol).
JFDA published photos and names of the four alcoholic beverages for citizens to identify:
-Vodka Red Sun / 500 ml
-Vodka Red Sun / 250 ml
-Vodka 48 / 350 ml
-Whisky Golden Crown / 187.5 ml

Grant worth $7.5 million to support Jordan Reform Management Project

The four-year grant will fund the rehabilitation of health centers, procurement of medical and IT equipment, and support public health awareness campaigns. Additionally, the Cabinet approved a second additional financing agreement worth $7.5 million with the World Bank to support the Jordan Reform Management Project. The funding will help strengthen implementation of economic and structural reforms, improve the national investment registry, and enhance the public-private partnership framework.
