Why Bosco Martis Was Disappointed When Janhvi Kapoor Did Not Acknowledge Him For Chuttamalle From Devara: Part 1

New Delhi:
Janhvi Kapoor played the character of Thangam in Devara: Part 1. The film had Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan in key roles. Janhvi Kapoor's short role in the film left a lasting impression, especially with the song Chuttamalle with Jr NTR.
However, recently choreographer Bosco Martis expressed his disappointment on how choreographers are not given due credit for their work in films. The case in this point is Janhvi Kapoor, who Bosco felt should have acknowledged his work in Chuttamalle.
He told BBC Asian Network, "I wish Janhvi would have spoken about it in the promotions, but that's fine, it's okay. If they don't realise it, then they don't realise it. It's a switch. I don't know, I think the correction has to be made, but there's a scientific way of doing this instead of forcing yourself and making the call and asking someone, 'Why haven't you taken my name?' or 'Why are you not talking about me?'"
Elaborating his concern on how choreographers and their hard work go unnoticed, Bosco added, "The amount of hard work that has gone in and the amount of planning and expertise it took to make the song look the way it does, when the song is released and becomes a superhit, the choreographer is forgotten."
He continued, "A choreographer is not celebrated when the song is showcased for the first time. A star is celebrated because they are the face of the song, and the choreographer is given the backseat and sometimes becomes invisible. I have been vocal about this because I think it's time we speak about it. It's a little disheartening sometimes to not even see your name in the list of credits."
However, Bosco did appreciate Vicky Kaushal who was very vocal about Bosco's contributions for his hit song Tauba Tauba from Bad Newz. Bosco also mentioned Hrithik Roshan who had given him due credit for a step that Bosco had given for Mission Kashmir.

Ishaan Khatter Opens Up About Reunion With Janhvi Kapoor: 'We Could Lean Onto Each Other...'

Ishaan Khatter opens up about filming Dhadak with Janhvi Kapoor as they reunite for Neeraj Ghaywan's Homebound, which premiered at Cannes 2025. Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, who made their Bollywood debut together in Dhadak back in 2018, have reunited after seven years for their upcoming film Homebound. The Neeraj Ghaywan directorial had its world premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2025 in May and is also set to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Dhadak, directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, was a Hindi adaptation of Nagraj Manjule's acclaimed Marathi film Sairat. The film explored issues of casteism and honour killing and went on to perform well at the box office. The much-anticipated spiritual sequel Dhadak 2, starring Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi, is slated for release on August 1. Now, ahead of Homebound, Ishaan opened up about his experience of working with Janhvi on Dhadak. In an interview with Zoom, the actor reflected on one of the film's most emotional scenes and shared, 'On Dhadak's set, Janhvi and I could lean onto each other." He further explained, 'My character is going through a lot of conflict. He is trying to be a man for her but he is not able to. He is dealing with his own issues. He has been uprooted from his family. You can see the cracks in him, his vulnerability. He is trying to be supportive, but inevitably he's dealing with his own demons." In Homebound, Ishaan stars alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Vishal Jethwa. The story follows two childhood friends—Shoaib Ali (played by Ishaan) and Chandan Kumar (played by Vishal)—who hail from a North Indian village and are determined to break free from the burden of their marginalised identities. However, a series of events leads to internal and external conflicts that test their bond. While the film has already garnered international attention at Cannes, its theatrical release date is still under wraps. Homebound marks a significant reunion for Ishaan and Janhvi, and fans are excited to see the duo together on screen once again. What Triptii Dimri Wants To Learn From Bad Newz Co-Star Vicky Kaushal

New Delhi: Ever since the massive success of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal with Ranbir Kapoor, Triptii Dimri has skyrocketed to fame like no other. Recently, she was also in the news for replacing Deepika Padukone in Vanga's Spirit opposite Prabhas. She is gearing up for the release of Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi, and it was during the promotions that she spoke about her Bad Newz co-star Vicky Kaushal. What's Happening Triptii Dimri revealed the one thing she would love to learn from Vicky Kaushal as an actor. She told ETimes, "He's a very, very sweet and a very talented guy - and very humble. I think I'm very, very patient. I think that patience I want to learn from him." Furthermore, she added, "He can work for 24 hours without saying a word. He's just too good. And I think I asked him one day, How do you go on and on without any complaints?" "He's like, 'This is what I always wanted in life.' And that gave me an answer to so many things. That patience, I think, I would want," concluded the Animal actress. About Bad Newz The plot of the film revolves around Triptii Dimri facing Neha Dhupia's probing question about the father of her unborn child. The suggestion of a paternity test hangs in the air as scenes unfold, showcasing Vicky Kaushal and Triptii's romance. A major plot twist unfolds as it is revealed that due to a mix-up in timelines, Triptii is unaware of the identity of her child's father. The doctor later shocks everyone by declaring it a 'once-in-a-lifetime' occurrence and reveals that both Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk are the fathers of Triptii's unborn child. About Dhadak 2 Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, is helmed by director Shazia Iqbal. Dhadak 2 is backed by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, Umesh Bansal, Meenu Arora, and Adar Poonawalla, under the banners of Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures. Sarzameen on OTT: Ibrahim Ali Khan has improved while Kajol-Prithviraj are impressive, but fans call film ‘average'

Months after being brutally trolled for his debut film Nadaaniyan, Saif Ali Khan's son and actor Ibrahim Ali Khan returned to the digital platform with his second film today. Titled Sarzameen, the action thriller marks Boman Irani's son Kayoze Irani's directorial debut, and also stars Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. In the trailer, we found out that Kajol is married to an army officer played by Prithviraj. Ibrahim is apparently their son, who seems to have turned into a terrorist somehow. Well, the film arrived on OTT today and early reviews suggest that Sarzameen is a one-time watch. Ibrahim Ali Khan and Kajol in Sarzameen After watching Sarzameen, one social media user shared, 'Good one time OTT watch. The narrative could have been far more gripping if the execution matched the huge strength of the plot. #Kajol delivers a standout performance - will remind you of Gupt. Prithviraj is impressive too and IAK has improved. 2.8/5 #Sarzameen,' whereas another fan wrote, '#Sarzameen is an above average film especially for the performances of @itsKajolD @PrithviOfficial and a sincere #IbrahimAliKhan . The familiar storyline and treatment and dejavu to mission Kashmir cannot be ignored. A sincere attempt nevertheless . Watchable.' Another review read, '#SarzameenReview: It has vibes like Mission Kashmir and Fanaa. Rating: 3*/5 ⭐⭐⭐ #Sarzameen is a one time watch film where #PrithvirajSukumaran and #Kajol pull off the dramedy very well whereas the #IbrahimAliKhan's performance is just decent. He has to learn more but I think that with time, everything will be okay. ✅ Give it a go if you have time.' Last night, Ibrahim attended a special premiere of his film. He was snapped with his actor sister Sara Ali Khan, good friend and Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha Thadani, and several fans. After reading these early reviews of Sarzameen, are you planning to watch Ibrahim, Kajol and Prithviraj's film this weekend?
