The best pictures as thousands take part in huge three-day fitness event in Cardiff
The event combines running and functional exercises and sees racers run 1km followed by a workout station repeated eight times, 8km in total, aiming to be the fastest.
The workout stations include a 1000m SkiErg, a 50m sled push, a 50m sled pull, 80m burpee broad jumps, 1,000m row, 200m farmers carry and 100m sandbag lunges.
Since it was first created in 2017 by Christian Toetzke and Olympian Moritz Fürste, the sport has as many as 200,000 competitors taking part worldwide. Events take place all throughout the year in Europe and the UK, but this weekend Wales had it's first ever Hyrox event.

Two air ambulances land at stadium after fan taken ill before Notts County match
A football stadium was evacuated ahead of Notts County's first League Two match of the new season after a fan took ill, with two air ambulances landing on the pitch. The Magpies clash against Newport County was meant to start at 3pm, but was been delayed until 4pm. The Welsh club's Rodney Parade stadium was evacuated at around 2.45pm with two air ambulances landing on the pitch. The fan was treated by paramedics on site. A spokesperson for Newport County confirmed the kick-off had been rescheduled for 4pm to allow both teams to warm up sufficiently after the ambulances departed. "Everyone at Newport County sends their best wishes to the individual concerned. We'd also like to thank all of the supporters for their patience," they added in a post on X at 3.12pm this afternoon. An earlier post from the Welsh outfit at 3.02pm read: "The medical situation is still ongoing. At present, the plan is for the match to commence at an agreed time which allows both teams to warm-up sufficiently after the two air ambulances depart. "We will keep supporters updated and continue to send our well wishes to the affected individual." While Notts County FC said at 3.10pm via X: "We await a further update on the condition of the supporter, who remains in our thoughts."

Cliftonville teenage strike sensation set for Championship move after successful trial
The Belfast Telegraph revealed earlier this week that the 17-year-old forward was a target for the Deepdale outfit and it is understood that agreement has been reached between the clubs and a deal is expected to be completed this month. In Jul,y the highly rated Reid played two matches during a week long trial at Preston Academy, scoring and assisting in a 3-2 victory over Sheffield Wednesday, and followed that up with a brace and another assist in a 4-3 win against Wrexham. The Welsh side were one of a number of clubs who have been monitoring the young striker's progress over the past year. So too Celtic, where he has been on trial, while Aberdeen and Luton have also been linked with him. Following Reid's successful trial, Preston made their move and with a two-year scholarship and one-year professional contract on the table, it is an appealing deal for the teen, with personal terms to be ironed out by his representative Ben Heath. Reid has been viewed as one of the bright young talents coming through at Cliftonville for some time having moved to the Reds from west Belfast club Glendowan. Last season, playing for the club's youth and reserve teams he scored over 50 goals. Many in the game feel he has the ability and attitude required to have a genuine shot at making it across the water. Cliftonville are fast becoming renowned for producing quality young players, with numerous English and Scottish sides keeping an eye on who is coming through at Solitude, with first team manager Jim Magilton encouraging them to rise up the ranks.

Thousands of competitors and spectators are expected in Londonderry for an outdoor Hyrox fitness challenge to be held over two days at Ebrington is described as one of the fastest-growing sports in the world and has about 200,000 competitors — either professional athletes or everyday fitness enthusiasts — perform eight runs and eight organisers of the first Ebrington Hyrox have said it will be one of the biggest outdoor events of its kind on the island of Ireland, with more than 1,000 people registered to compete. What is Hyrox? Jen Mansour from Derry will be making her Hyrox debut at the 43-year-old had hoped to take part in a previous competition held in Creggan but was forced to withdraw after suffering a foot by fellow gym members who have competed in Hyrox, Jen said she had always been curious to try it for herself."There are definitely some nerves, but I'm really excited to be taking part," she goal for the competition is simple: "To finish in one piece." "I was never particularly sporty at school, but after turning 40, I just wanted to become healthier and fitter," she said."Hyrox has become really popular in recent years, and we have such a fantastic community at the gym - from all walks of life - who've taken part in these kinds of events, so I thought: why not me?"Ms Mansour will be competing in the doubles category alongside her friend Esther Donaghy, who has taken part in Hyrox before."Esther is very fit, but more importantly for me, she's also incredibly supportive," she said."Having her by my side throughout the event will definitely help me get through it," she said. Josh Irwin from Limavady is a regular Hyrox competitor and described it as the "ultimate test of endurance.""I love it because it makes cardio training a bit more interesting and competitive, due to all the various exercises involved," he said."There is a great community spirit behind it, both before and after the race, because you're surrounded by like-minded people who are all looking to push themselves."
