As another week rolls in, Netflix has dropped a fresh batch of binge-worthy content. While some movies and series retained their positions at the weekly top 10 charts, others slipped down as fresh new content started climbing the charts. From gripping thrillers and heartfelt comedies to long-awaited sequels and trending K-dramas, you will be hooked on the streaming giant's weekly top 10 list.
As per Netflix Tudum reports, Untamed, the Yosemite-set mystery series starring Eric Bana, hit the No. 1 spot on this global Top 10 English TV list with 24.6 million views. This weekly top rank marked the second no. 1 debut this year for co-creator Mark L. Smith, whose previous series American Primaeval hit the top spot in January this year.
Trailing behind Untamed is the crime documentary series Amy Bradley Is Missing, securing the no. 2 spot with 12.2 million views. Elsewhere, on the English TV list, the final season of The Sandman captured the no. 3 spot with 3.3 million views. Fans also loved Monday Night Raw and made it climb up the list, securing the no. 5 spot with 2.7 million views.
Demon Hunters Remained At No. 1 Position On Netflix's Top 10 English Films List
On the other hand, K-Pop Demon Hunters held onto their No. 1 position on the English Films List with 25.8 million views. The girls of HUNTER/X helped the movie hold onto the top rank for its fifth week. This is not the only chart the Demon Hunters are tearing up; various original songs from the film have already been making their way up the Billboard charts as well.
Close to the Hunters' Tyler Perry's Madea's Destination Wedding secured the no. 2 spot on the list with 16.5 million views, leaving behind Trainwreck: Balloon Boy at no. 3 and the immortal warriors of The Old Guard 2 at no. 4 with 7 million and 6.2 million views, respectively. Fans also loved 2022's A Madea Homecoming, which helped the movie reemerge on the charts with 3 million views, hitting the No. 8 spot on the top 10 English Films list.
What Were The Most Loved Non-English Films And TV Series Of This Week?
Additionally, non-English films and TV series also had a great week, as Germany's mystery thriller Brick retained its no. 1 position with 22.3 million views in the Non-English Films Top 10 list. Three other debuts also climbed up the ladder and made their way into the list. These films include South Korea's Wall to Wall, Brazil's Almost Family, and Apocalypse in the Tropics. On the other hand, in the non-English TV list, South Korea's Squid Game Season 3 maintained the no. 1 position for the fourth consecutive week with 7.8 million views. Other TV shows in this list include Japan's Tougen Anki, Dan Da Dan, and The Summer Hikaru Died; Argentina's Delirium; and South Korea's Squid Game Season 2.
