Dubai Culture receives ISO 42001:2023 in AI Management Systems
Dubai Culture earned this certification by demonstrating compliance with UAE laws and regulations on AI Management Systems, including the Dubai AI Security Policy issued by the Dubai Electronic Security Centre, as well as related cybersecurity policies and the UAE AI Strategy. The Authority has allocated the necessary human, technological, financial, and logistical resources to operate and enhance its AI initiatives. It has also established clear objectives for managing these technologies, regularly updating them in line with government directives. Additionally, Dubai Culture has prioritised raising awareness and skill development among its teams to ensure the safe and effective use of AI applications.
Mansoor Lootah, CEO of the Corporate Enablement Sector and Chief AI Officer at Dubai Culture, emphasised that this achievement reflects the Authority's commitment to adapting to rapid technological changes and preparing for the future. Al Mazrui added that the Ministry has launched an integrated package of programmes aimed at engaging national cadres, senior citizens, and people of determination to take part in impactful projects that serve the community and contribute to building a cohesive society. Additionally, she highlighted a number of innovative initiatives launched in collaboration with local and federal entities as well as the private sector, all focused on promoting community sustainability and enhancing individual well-being. Central Bank of the UAE revokes licence of Al Khazna Insurance Company
11 July 2025 12:24 ABU DHABI (WAM) The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has revoked the licence of Al Khazna Insurance Company P.S.C (Al Khazna), pursuant to the Article 33 of Federal Decree Law No.48 of 2023 regulating Insurance Activities (the Insurance Law).This is due to Al Khazna's failure to meet the licencing requirements necessary to conduct insurance business during the period of suspension of its revocation results from the findings of examinations and follow-ups conducted by the CBUAE, which revealed that Al Khazna failed to comply with requirements set out in the Insurance Law and other regulatory requirements imposed by the CBUAE, during the period of suspension of its licence. The CBUAE, through its supervisory and regulatory mandates, works to ensure that all insurance companies and insurance-related professions abide by the UAE laws, regulations and standards adopted by the CBUAE to safeguard the transparency and integrity of the insurance sector and the UAE financial system.

Qatar and China sign deal to increase air transport rights
Beijing: The civil aviation authorities of both the State of Qatar and the People's Republic of China held a meeting in Beijing, yesterday. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation in operational matters for the national carriers of both countries, and to develop capabilities in this field with the aim of ensuring the continuity of air traffic efficiently, in addition to a host topics of mutual interest. The Qatari delegation was headed by In Charge of Managing Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), Mohammed bin Faleh Al Hajri, while the Chinese side was headed by Director General of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Chen Wei.
