Larcé Raymann bids farewell to The 'Taste Master SA'

This week on The Taste Master SA , South African viewers witnessed the emotional exit of Larcé Raymann. Raymann was one of the season's most creative and composed contestants. During a honey-themed three-course challenge inspired by guest chef Zandi from Hush in My Kitchen , Larcé impressed with her calm confidence. However, she was ultimately eliminated from the competition. The challenge tasked the top five contestants with showcasing honey as the star ingredient. Larcé's menu began with a starter of ricotta, honey-glazed beetroot, prosciutto ham crackling, and rocket. Larcé Raymann's main course featured honey-marinated pork served with mash and honey-glazed carrots, according to thier website. For dessert, she crafted honey and nut puff pastry buns filled with diplomat cream. Despite the delicious dishes, the competition's rising intensity meant Larcé's journey ended this week. Reflecting on her approach, Larcé said, 'I kept it simple. With only two hours and three courses, I didn't want to overcomplicate things. I know how I get flustered under pressure, so simplicity was key.' Larcé Raymann also praised Chef Zandi's masterclass. She highlighted the balance in her vinaigrette and her plating techniques. Larcé Raymann's father deeply influences her culinary style; she describes him as bold and passionate about honey. 'I tried to channel his boldness for this challenge. He simplifies complicated ingredients, a skill I'm eager to develop,' she shared. This personal connection added emotional depth to her dishes. Throughout the competition, Larcé experienced significant growth. She especially enjoyed Chef Zola's bold labneh class and the pasta masterclass. Larcé Raymann also admired Chef Nathan's elevation of simple ingredients, like his pap fondant. 'I learned to trust myself more, think boldly, take risks and try new things,' she reflected. Looking back, Larcé admitted she would have taken more risks in the honey challenge. 'I wanted to make a mousse for my main course and a honey cake for dessert using a siphon gun. Next time, I'll try something new.' Though her time on The Taste Master SA has ended, Larcé's culinary journey is just beginning. She plans to study part-time at a culinary school and has her sights set on launching a bed and breakfast. She has already been approached to offer private chef services and is preparing a price list. Larcé's passion and fearless flavour promise to inspire kitchens across South Africa for years to come. Kim Kardashian mocked for Paris Fashion Week runway walk

Kim Kardashian found herself at the centre of social media mockery after her appearance at Balenciaga's Paris Fashion Week show. The reality TV star and business mogul walked the runway in a cream slip dress and a fluffy coat. However, her performance quickly became the subject of online ridicule. Kim Kardashian's runway walk was widely shared online, with many viewers calling it 'awkward' and 'stiff'. Some even compared her stride to that of someone 'drunk' or 'tired'. Comments flooded in, with one user joking, 'Me sleepwalking from the loo back to my bed at 4 am.' Another quipped, 'She is no model. A for effort.' Others suggested, 'Leave the modelling to Kendall.' Despite the criticism, a few fans defended her, praising her for stepping out of her comfort zone, according to The Mirror. However, the majority felt that her walk did not meet the standards set by professional models. Kim's outfit was striking. She wore a fitted cream slip dress, a fluffy coat, and layered diamond jewellery. Reports suggest the jewellery alone was worth around R4.6 million. Her hair was styled in soft vintage curls, reminiscent of classic Hollywood glamour. Kim Kardashian appeared to channel Elizabeth Taylor, with whom she shares a love for bold fashion choices. The video, originally posted by her mother, Kris Jenner, quickly gained traction. One viewer wrote, 'If you're trying to do sultry, it's not working out.' Kim Kardashian's Paris moment has reignited debate about the role of celebrities in high fashion. While her star power is undeniable, the response to her runway walk shows that even the most famous faces are not immune to criticism. 'Anxiety attack': Rachel Kolisi cries in candid clip

Rachel Kolisi – the former partner of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi – has shared a heartbreaking video on social media amid her high-profile divorce. The mother-of-two announced her separation last October and has been navigating life as a single parent ever since. In a TikTok video, Rachel Kolisi revealed her fragile state of mind as she navigates co-parenting with her ex, Siya Kolisi. 'In the process of getting a divorce. And today was the first time my kids flew to see their dad without me. It was hard', she posted. The video clip saw Rachel whisk her two children, including Siya's sister Liphelo, off to the airport. They then joined their dad in Gqeberha, where the Springboks are playing this weekend. In several moments during the day, Rachel Kolisi broke down in tears and even experienced an 'anxiety attack'. Later, Rachel decided to book a mini-getaway for herself and her grandmother to uplift her spirits. @rachelkolisi Tomorrow I'll go again 💪🏼❤️ ♬ Elastic Heart (yeah, let's be clear, I'll trust no one. You did not break me, I'm still fighting for peace) – Sia While Siya Kolisi will not be playing this weekend in the Springboks clash against Italy in Gqeberha, he has used the time to bond with his children and his sister. Siya has been showing his loved ones around his home province, as well as the Zwide township, where he was born. He's also taken them on a trip to visit his old primary school, Emsengeni Primary School, which he funds through his Kolisi Foundation, which he co-founded with his ex-partner, Rachel, in 2019.
