Kim Kardashian mocked for Paris Fashion Week runway walk
The reality TV star and business mogul walked the runway in a cream slip dress and a fluffy coat. However, her performance quickly became the subject of online ridicule.
Kim Kardashian's runway walk was widely shared online, with many viewers calling it 'awkward' and 'stiff'.
Some even compared her stride to that of someone 'drunk' or 'tired'. Comments flooded in, with one user joking, 'Me sleepwalking from the loo back to my bed at 4 am.'
Another quipped, 'She is no model. A for effort.' Others suggested, 'Leave the modelling to Kendall.'
Despite the criticism, a few fans defended her, praising her for stepping out of her comfort zone, according to The Mirror.
However, the majority felt that her walk did not meet the standards set by professional models.
Kim's outfit was striking. She wore a fitted cream slip dress, a fluffy coat, and layered diamond jewellery. Reports suggest the jewellery alone was worth around R4.6 million.
Her hair was styled in soft vintage curls, reminiscent of classic Hollywood glamour. Kim Kardashian appeared to channel Elizabeth Taylor, with whom she shares a love for bold fashion choices.
The video, originally posted by her mother, Kris Jenner, quickly gained traction. One viewer wrote, 'If you're trying to do sultry, it's not working out.'
Kim Kardashian's Paris moment has reignited debate about the role of celebrities in high fashion.
While her star power is undeniable, the response to her runway walk shows that even the most famous faces are not immune to criticism.

'Sorry mama': Minnie Dlamini comforts Rachel after emotional video
Media personality Minnie Dlamini comforted Rachel Kolisi, who became emotional in a TikTok video about co-parenting after divorce. Rachel announced her separation from Siya Kolisi last October and has since been adjusting to life as a single mother. In an unfiltered video, Rachel shared raw clips capturing her co-parenting journey's emotional highs and lows post-divorce. The video shows Rachel taking her two children, including Siya's sister Liphelo, to the airport to reunite with Siya. 'In the process of getting a divorce. And today was the first time my kids flew to see their dad without me. It was hard', she wrote. They later joined Siya in Gqeberha, where the Springboks are scheduled to play during the upcoming weekend. Throughout the day, Rachel became overwhelmed with emotion, shedding tears and even experiencing what she described as an 'anxiety attack.' To recharge, Rachel later booked a short getaway with her grandmother in hopes of lifting her mood and mental state. Offering support, Minnie Dlamini left a heartfelt message in the comments, simply saying, 'Sorry mama,' to comfort her publicly. In October 2024, Siya and Rachel announced their separation via a joint statement on Instagram, emphasising that their decision to separate was mutual and amicable. Together, Siya and Rachel have two children—Nicholas, who is 10, and Keziah, who is 7. They also adopted Siya's two younger siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, when they were children. On Valentine's Day, Rachel opened up about how she felt. The mother of four poured her heart out about parenting amid her divorce. 'This Valentine's Day, I made a brave decision, and it broke my heart all over again. Parenting when the world feels like it's crumbling around you is a different kind of challenge. And one I hope I'll never have to experience at this level again,' she wrote. 'Never been more grateful for the very few who showed up to support and lean in this week, especially. One day at a time felt too big this week, so I just did one hour at a time, and it kinda helped – I made it to Saturday! 😅❤️,' she said. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS? 'I am appalled by how I behaved': Minnie Ntuli issues an apology
Minnie Ntuli has finally broken her silence after backlash over her behaviour on The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD). The Gagasi FM radio personality, who joined in season 5, upset many viewers due to her controversial on-screen conduct. She first clashed with Precious Udoya, accusing her of selling poor-quality wigs and mistreating employees at Precious Brand Hair. Later, Minnie had another clash with Londie London, shockingly accusing her of being a prostitute who 'makes money lying down'. In part two of the reunion, which aired Friday 11 July, unseen footage showed their heated fight turning physically aggressive. Following the backlash, Minnie released a statement apologising for her behaviour after calls to Gagasi FM demanding her dismissal. In the statement, she admits watching the show back was difficult, says she feels 'appalled' by her actions, and takes accountability. 'Over the past few weeks, I've had to come face-to-face with the impact of my actions on The Real Housewives of Durban. Watching the show back has been deeply confronting. I am appalled by how I behaved, and I take full accountability for the role I played,' read the statement. Minnie further reveals that she has apologised to the cast members affected. She also expresses her willingness to make amends for her behaviour. 'I want to sincerely apologise to the affected cast members. I know my actions hurt others, and for that, I am truly sorry. I have reached out to them privately and publicly, and I remain committed to making amends, including having face-to-face conversations if and when they are open to it.' In addition, Minnie states that she has met with Gagasi FM management, who have expressed disappointment in her conduct. As a result, she agrees to pursue professional counselling and take time off. 'While my work on radio and my presence on the show are two separate platforms, both Gagasi FM and I agree that it is important I take accountability. The station has expressed disappointment in my behaviour, and together we've agreed that I will seek professional counselling to address my emotional responses,' she said. The statement continues: 'This experience has made me realise the ripple effect of my behaviour, I've disappointed my family, my friends, my clients, and most importantly, the loyal listeners who tune in to my show every weekday.'
