Jessica Alba, ‘Top Gun: Maverick' actor spend time in Cancun as she embraces single life: report
Alba, 44, sparked romance rumors after she was spotted boarding a plane headed back to Los Angeles from Cancun with "Captain America" star Danny Ramirez, TMZ reported. The outlet reported that the two spent time together in the sun-soaked town.
Despite the reported quick getaway, sources told People magazine that Alba isn't dating anyone seriously, and is instead relishing in her new role as a single woman months after the "Honey" actress petitioned a Los Angeles court to end her 16-year marriage.
In video obtained by TMZ, Ramirez, 32, and the "Fantastic Four" actress both attempted to go incognito by wearing snapback hats as they left Mexico for L.A. on Sunday afternoon.
Upon arrival in the City of Angels, Alba and Ramirez walked closely together as they were escorted through a private terminal by a security guard.
Alba and Ramirez's representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
Ramirez portrayed Lt. Mickey "Fanboy" Garcia in "Top Gun: Maverick," and played Falcon in "Captain America: Brave New World."
He'll reprise his Marvel character for "Avengers: Doomsday," which also stars Robert Downey Jr., Pedro Pascal and Chris Hemsworth.
Alba has reportedly been on a few dates since announcing her split from Warren in February, insiders told People.
"She's been getting a lot of attention since the divorce. She's flattered and definitely enjoying being single again," sources said.
"She's gone on some dates, but it's nothing serious — she's focused on herself and her kids. She's not interested in a relationship right now."
The mother-of-three is "excited" to dive back into work, and will soon begin filming "The Mark" in Australia with Orlando Bloom, who recently ended his engagement with Katy Perry.
"She's in a great place. She's excited to get back to filming. She's doing what she loves and keeping her circle tight," the source told People.
In January, the Honest Co. founder announced her split from Warren after 20 years together.
"I've been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash," she wrote on Instagram.
"I'm proud of how we've grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals."
She added, "We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time."
Alba and Warren met on the set of "Fantastic Four" in 2004 and tied the knot in 2008.
In the divorce petition filed in February and obtained by Fox News Digital, the pair requested joint custody of their three children — Honor, 16; Haven, 13; and Hayes, 7.

Fans of the comics will no doubt recognize those lines and baby blue highlights as clearly modeled on perhaps the defining costume of 'Spider-Man' comics. As originally designed by co-creator Steve Ditko in 1962, the costume featured the instantly iconic red mask with large white eyes rimmed in black, along with red boots, gloves, arm stripes and midsection, and webbing under the arms. But the rest was actually painted black, with blue highlights for shading. Just before he abruptly quit Marvel in 1966, Ditko stopped filling the black in, giving the suit that now-defining bright blue sections. Ditko's replacement as lead artist on 'The Amazing Spider-Man,' John Romita Sr. continued that and eventually removed the underarm webbing too. The result is the classic costume drawn pretty consistently by all 'Spider-Man' artists from the late 1960s until 1984. For example: Clearly, Sony and Marvel at least want us to think they're taking Spider-Man way back to basics. We can't wait to see more. After a bout with COVID, Josh Gad says he'll perform Sunday in 'Jesus Christ Superstar'
It felt like 2022 all over again when Josh Gad took to Instagram to express his heartbreak about contracting a "virus known as COVID" and announce his decision to pull out of playing King Herod in the highly anticipated production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Hollywood Bowl, which staged its first night of a three-night run Friday. Gad hinted that maybe — if he tested negative — the situation might change. The following day, however, John Stamos announced on social media that his weekend "just got biblical" and that he was stepping in for Gad in the show. On Friday, things got extra dramatic when Gad said that he had tested negative. Fans on his social media clamored to know what that might mean, but he stayed mum until Saturday when he posted a photo of himself in an elaborate gold lamé costume with the words, "See you all Sunday night." A rep for the Los Angeles Philharmonic said that final confirmation that Gad will step onto stage won't come until noon Sunday. Stamos appeared onstage as Herod on Friday night, bringing some comic relief to an electric, deeply emotional show. After one of star Cynthia Erivo's solos, the audience clapped so loud, long and reverently, that tears came to the singer's eyes — which only caused the crowd to cheer harder. The moment of symbiotic love lasted for at least 3 minutes, maybe more. The Bowl was packed with marquee names, including former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, Jim Carrey and Ted Neely (who played Jesus in the 1973 film adaptation of the musical). Erivo brought composer Andrew Lloyd Webber onto the stage as a special guest during curtain call. Still, Gad fans were many — you could tell because they held Olaf dolls and wore Olaf jewelry — and they could be heard expressing their sorrow at the absence of Gad in the crush of the crowd after the show. Gad's addition to the cast, which included Erivo as Jesus, Adam Lambert as Judas and Phillipa Soo as Mary Magdalene, was hailed by fans; and in an interview with The Times during rehearsal, Gad spoke about being beyond excited to perform at the Bowl for the very first time with a stellar cast that he called the Avengers of musical theater. "I've wanted to play the Hollywood Bowl forever," said Gad. "But I never thought I was good enough to play the Hollywood Bowl," he added with a self-deprecating smile Even though the role of King Herod entails a single song — a kind of comic interlude that Gad likened to the part of King George in "Hamilton" — Gad showed up at as many rehearsals as possible before he came down with COVID. He just liked sitting on the sidelines, soaking up the scene and the incredible talent on display, he said. At a Saturday rehearsal before the show, he filmed numbers on phones for various cast members and cheered his heart out. His sense of excitement was palpable.
