Justin Trudeau spotted at Katy Perry concert in Canada
Multiple fan videos captured Trudeau watching Perry's Lifetimes Tour concert, seemingly alone, at Bell Centre in Montreal on July 30.
In one clip, Trudeau – wearing a casual black T-shirt, a difference from the suits of his decadelong tenure as the 23rd prime minister of Canada – held onto a railing while watching Perry solo. In another, Trudeau danced along to "Teenage Dream," the 13-time Grammy nominee's hit 2010 song.
USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Trudeau and Perry for comment. The Lifetimes concert tour began in Mexico City in April and is scheduled to end in December. The tour supports her latest album "143," which received mixed reviews from critics, though the tour has been a commercial success for Perry.
Some fans are sparking romance rumors that first heated up when People and Page Six reported this week that Trudeau and the American singer were spotted on a walk and shared a surprising dinner at Le Violin, according to The New York Times, although there is no indication that it was a date.
'We can't say for certain it was a date, but they were in great spirits," restaurant co-owner and co-executive chef Danny Smiles told the Times.
Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry breakup: Couple to focus on co-parenting daughter Daisy
Perry announced her split in early July from ex-partner and actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares 4-year-old daughter Daisy. Representatives for Perry and Bloom, who had been engaged for six years, confirmed the couple's separation in a statement to USA TODAY on July 3.
"Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting," the statement read.
Katy Perry's Lifetimes tour will be fueled by espresso, 'California crunchy' diet, meditating
"They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect," the statement from their representatives continued. Before she cozied up to Bloom, Perry was married to British comedian Russell Brand, but the couple divorced in 2012. She also previously dated musician John Mayer.
Trudeau announced in early January that he would resign from his post. He had served as prime minister since 2015 and led the country's Liberal Party since 2013. In 2023, Trudeau split from his wife and the mother of his three children, Sophie Gregoire, whom he married in May 2005.

Taylor Swift's Unreleased Music Video for "King of My Heart"
Today in I'M SPIRALING, music video director Joseph Kahn just casually revealed that he collaborated with Taylor Swift on a video for "King of My Heart" which was shelved. "We started shooting it," he said the Ourselves podcast (via USA Today). "We never finished it because she switched gears in the middle of it to do 'Ready for It?' It was during the Reputation album." Apparently, the video was fully shot but "never finished," and it "very conceptual" and had a lot of visual effects. Check out the second slide below to watch Joseph chat about it. The director also talked about working on Tay for "Look What You Made Me Do," saying he told her "Let's embrace the snake. Snakes are cool. There's a lot worse things they could have called you. We decided to make the snake the concept in the video. I think she had so much fire in her, so much to prove. First song off the new album, she was ready to go all in on it." "She wrote an unlimited check and went for it," he said. "She paid for all of that stuff, and she didn't have any rights to it. I'm so glad that she has it all back now, because she's the one that was writing those checks. It was her personal cash, and she made the investment on every one of those videos and was the force that made it all happen. I was the lucky guy who executed them, but she laid it all on the line." Nothing to do but form a prayer circle for Tay to release "King of My Heart."

Pamela Anderson and Sylvester Stallone's Feud Explained
Pamela Anderson is hitting back at Sylvester Stallone. And if that sentence has caused you to enter a state of ??? please be advised that these two have long-standing beef. Pamela and Sylvester's feud started when the documentary Pamela, a Love Story dropped, and Pam revealed that he'd once attempted to make her his "number one girl." "I remember talking to Sylvester Stallone one time and he offered me a condo and a Porsche to be his number one girl," she said. "And I was like, 'Does that mean there's number two? Uh-uh.' He goes, 'That's the best offer you're gonna get, honey. You're in Hollywood now.' I wanted to really be in love. I didn't want anything less than that." Cut to Sylvester Stallone, who told People in a circa January 2023 statement that "The statement from Pamela Anderson attributed to my client is false and fabricated. Mr. Stallone confirms that he never made any portion of that statement." In other words, he denied the entire thing. But Pamela was once again asked about the incident—and Sylvester denying it—during Watch What Happens Live, saying "Well, how could you make that up? You know? I mean, that was pretty specific." Andy Cohen then asked if there was a different car that could have made Pamela change her mind, and she joked "Maybe, like, a Shelby Cobra" before adding "no" and repeating it several times. Sylvester Stallone hasn't commented further, but stay tuned?

Ariana Grande Blocked From A New No. 1 Hit
Ariana Grande's latest single 'Twilight Zone' debuts on multiple charts in the United Kingdom this week, long after it gave the pop singer yet another win on several tallies. The tune was recently released on vinyl, and fans of the Grammy winner snapped up copies in large enough numbers that the cut almost became another chart-topper – though it doesn't quite manage to hit No. 1. 'Twilight Zone' Debuts High 'Twilight Zone' debuts on both the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts this week. On the physical tally, Grande misses the summit by a single rung, while on vinyl she lands firmly inside the top three. Wunderhorse Blocks Grande From the Top Grande's bid for another physical No. 1 is halted by English rock band Wunderhorse. The outfit leaps from No. 67 to No. 1 with 'The Rope' in just its second week on the chart. The rock cut's rapid ascent forces 'Twilight Zone' to settle for the runner-up slot, despite very healthy sales. Ariana Grande Expands Her Top 10 Smashes With 'Twilight Zone,' Grande claims her thirteenth top 10 on the Official Physical Singles chart. On the vinyl ranking, she earns her eleventh career top 10. Her history on both rosters includes two leaders apiece, as 'Yes, And?' and 'We Can't Be Friends (Wait for your Love)' from her Eternal Sunshine era both managed to peak in first place. Joining a List of No. 2 Hits 'Twilight Zone' is the latest Grande single to peak at No. 2 on the Official Physical Singles chart, and one of several from her catalog. It follows tunes like 'Positions,' 'The Boy Is Mine' and 'Popular' from the Wicked soundtrack, all of which also fell just short of the crown. 'Twilight Zone' Reaches a New Sales High The single also returns to the Official Singles Sales chart, landing at No. 5 this week. That's a new best showing for the poppy cut. As it surges, the tune marks Grande's twenty-second top 10 on the sales-focused list.
