UCCM Anishinaabe police seized more than 160 grams of cocaine, crack and fentanyl with an estimated street value of more than $45,000 from a residence on Johnny's Park Drive in M'Chigeeng. A 26-year-old from North York and four northern Ontario residents face trafficking charges.

First responders were called to the scene near Denny's Dam around 4:45 p.m. after they received reports of multiple canoes capsized and stuck in netting at the top of the dam. Nine people were rescued, and no injuries were reported. 'We want to remind the public that alcohol and water do not mix. Please do not drink while out on the river as disaster can happen in an instant,' a statement from Saugeen Shores Police Service reads.

Wheatley crash turns fatal
One person has died following a crash in Wheatley Friday night. Emergency crews fist responded to a single-vehicle crash on Erie Street South around 7:45 p.m. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 62 year old from Leamington, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say they succumbed to their injuries on Saturday. Erie Street South was closed for approximately five hours between Hickson Road and Deer Run Road.
