Clemson baseball set to host a Regional in the 2025 NCAA Tournament
For the third consecutive year, Clemson has been selected as one of 16 hosts for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship regionals. The Tigers, who carry a 44-16 record, will begin postseason play on Friday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. Official seedings, opponents, and game times will be revealed Monday at noon on ESPN2.
This marks the 19th time since 1980 that Clemson has hosted a regional and the 47th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history—ranking fifth all-time among Division I schools. Clemson is one of only two programs, along with Arkansas, to have hosted a regional each of the last three seasons.
All-session tickets for the Clemson Regional go on sale to IPTAY members Monday afternoon, following the NCAA Selection Show. If available, remaining all-session and single-session tickets will be released to the general public beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Current Clemson students can attend all Tiger games in the regional for free with a valid CUID, receiving standing-room-only tickets at the student gate.

WATCH as former Clemson baseball starter has career day at MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol
A former Clemson baseball starter had quite a day for himself Sunday at Major League Baseball's Speedway Classic in Bristol, Tennessee. Atlanta Braves outfielder Eli White, who played at Clemson from 2014-16, crushed two home runs in the Braves' 4-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds. The game was played at Bristol Motor Speedway, the crown jewel of NASCAR's short-track circuit that previously hosted a regular season college football game between Tennessee and Virginia Tech in 2016. White was 2-for-4 at the plate with four RBIs. He started his day with a three-run blast down the left field line off Reds reliever Brent Suter that traveled 411 feet in the top of the second inning for a 3-1 Braves lead. Leading off the seventh inning, White went deep again with a 413-foot smash to left center off reliever Scott Barlow to cap the Braves' scoring. For White, now in his sixth major league season, the home runs were his fifth and sixth of the year. He's up to a career-high 24 RBIs for the year, and his four RBIs Sunday were a career high for one game. White's seventh-inning blast tied his career high for most home runs in a season, and his batting average rose to .254 through 76 games this season. A product of Wren High School in Piedmont, South Carolina, White has already played in more games this season than his previous high of 64 with the Texas Rangers in 2021. He was an 11th round pick by the Oakland Athletics in the 2016 MLB draft after hitting eight home runs and 22 doubles across three seasons at Clemson. The Phillies earned a comeback win against the Detroit Tigers on Friday night, but couldn't complete the job on Saturday. They'll try to earn a series win when they play the finale on Sunday Night Baseball. The Phillies will send lefthander Cristopher Sanchez to the mound. Sanchez will try to rebound from a rare poor start his last time out. The Tigers give the ball to a familiar face in Charlie Morton. The former Phillie, pitching in his 16th major league season, was recently traded to the Tigers from the Orioles. Game time is 7 PM and will be broadcast nationally by ESPN. Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal reacted to the team's underwhelming MLB trade deadline moves while speaking from the dugout in-game on ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball" at Citizens Bank Park on Sunday against Philadelphia Phillies. "I'm excited, it's the first time I've been part of a team that's acquired talent at the deadline," Skubal said during the fourth inning speaking with ESPN's Karl Ravech, Eduardo Pérez and David Cone. "I've been apart of four teams that have sold and that's not a fun place to be. ... I met a lot of them for the first time yesterday and just after the game we sat in the locker room and talked shop for probably an hour after the game and I think that's pretty cool. "I feel like we've kind of got a brand new team all of a sudden." The Tigers added five pitchers to the MLB roster at Thursday's deadline, though none are having great seasons.
