Denver Broncos 2025 schedule released
On Wednesday, the Broncos released the 18-week schedule that will be the blueprint for their newest journey in the 2025 regular season. The schedule includes four prime time games, with one taking place across the pond at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Biggest matchups revealed in the full 2025 NFL schedule release
Before last season started, sports analysts and fans alike were unsure of how the season would unfold after the franchise entrusted rookie quarterback Bo Nix with the reins.
Nix embraced the challenge and became an integral part of a core of young Broncos players that took the next major steps in their development as individuals and as a team.
The team returned to the playoffs for the first time in a decade and will be looking to build upon its above-expectations season in 2024.

Season opener: Week 1 vs the Titans
It's always good to start the season on the right foot. Broncos fans in Denver won't have to wait for the return of the team, as the Broncos' season opener doubles as a home opener.

Nix will get to show the ropes to fellow young quarterback and 2025 No. 1 overall draft pick, Cam Ward.
Revenge games: Week 3, Week 18 vs the Chargers
The Chargers, a conference rival, had the Broncos' number last season and walked away the winner of both matchups on the season.
The second of those games featured a 27-34 loss for the Broncos in Week 16, and nearly knocked them out of playoff contention.
Broncos players won't be quick to forget and will come with their A-game against the Chargers.
Taking on the champs: Week 5 at the Eagles
The Broncos' aspirations may have shifted this offseason from returning to the playoffs to figuring out what it takes to bring home the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The Eagles figured out how to do just that last season, and this will be a good litmus test against a team that will likely be among the favorites to win it all again.

The Broncos will have plenty of time to dissect their conference foe and show that they have what it takes to claim the AFC West throne.

The second of the game weeks will be a prime time game, where the Broncos will have to endure the freezing cold of Kansas City on Christmas night.

Fans will be right there to support their young and rising team in hopes of returning to the promised land again.

‘Few tears': Journeyman to debut
The Broncos have been dealt a double blow with Corey Jensen and Jesse Arthars ruled out of the side's trip to Sydney to face the Bulldogs, with coach Michael Maguire backing the recalled Selwyn Cobbo to fire in his first game in a month. Jensen (calf) and Arthars (rib) will miss Friday night's clash, while veteran Ben Hunt is likely to return next week as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. It's a blow for the Broncos who were already without Origin stars Payne Haas, Pat Carrigan, Reece Walsh and Gehamat Shibasaki for next week's decider, but Maguire is confident his forward pack can get the job done. Ben Talty will make his debut off the bench after starting the year playing with North Sydney in the NSW Cup, while journeyman Delouise Hoeter will start his first game since 2023. 'Ben Talty has come in here about a month ago and put his head down, and he's going to be on the bench,' Maguire said. 'He reminded me about how special rugby league is. I was able to sit with him yesterday and talk about how he is going to debut. 'The big fella had a few tears and gave me a big squeeze. It gave me a real sense of what it really means to play NRL. 'He has been trying for a long time, so it just goes to show how special it is what our game brings. 'For 'Della' (Hoeter), he has been out for 12 months, so it's another great story.' Maguire backed Shibasaki to handle the pressure on his Origin debut, with the backline changes opening the door for Cobbo to return to the Broncos side for the first time since round 13. Cobbo was dropped to reserve grade and has subsequently signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins after the Broncos were unable to offer him enough money to entice him to stay. Maguire didn't want to comment on Cobbo's looming departure and backed him to take his opportunity at fullback. 'I'm not going to go into that. I stood here at the same thing last week talking about the same story. Selwyn is now focused on playing,' he said. 'We talk about players and how it's hard to keep everyone. That's what we're working through. 'Selly is working through this year and we've got a great opportunity with where we are at the moment. The competition is well and truly alive. 'Selly has been good over the past month. 'As much as you talk about turbulent, we've worked through things and Selly is really focused on playing with his teammates. Broncos hand NRL debut to former Storm player amid injury and Origin setbacks
Michael Maguire is facing a dire situation after catapulting Ben Salty into the Broncos 17 for his NRL debut following injuries to Corey Jensen and Jesse Arthars ahead of the Bulldogs clash. The Broncos have avoided the State of Origin chaos so far in the 2025 season having enjoyed rests in both bye rounds. Although Maguire is facing a tough challenge against the Bulldogs on Friday night with Jensen and Arthars joining their Origin players who will miss the clash. Payne Haas and Patrick Carrigan will once again line-up for the NSW and Queensland, respectively, next Wednesday in the decider for the third time this series. But Queensland coach Billy Slater made some surprise moves for Game 3 having selected Broncos centre Gehamat Shibasaki. He also selected Reece Walsh as 18th man, which will see him miss the Bulldogs game in a huge blow to the spectacle. While the debate over whether the 18th man should play club footy continues, Maguire's latest setback has him scrambling to select a team against the second-placed Bulldogs. Arthars injured his ribs in training and will sit out the game, forcing Maguire to selected Delouise Hoeter on the wing. But the prop injured his calf in training and will also sit out the game. This will see Salty make his NRL debut after a shock mid-season switch to the Broncos from the Melbourne Storm. While the Bulldogs are also missing four key stars due to Origin, the side are heavily favoured to walk away with the win at home. While the Bulldogs have showed they have impressive depth in the forward pack in 2025, Jensen's setback for Maguire has already seen him turn to his mid-season signing. Talty has been in the Melbourne Storm system since 2023, plying his trade with the North Sydney Bears in the NSW Cup. The Bears are a feeder team for the Storm, and it saw Talty play in the pre-season comp for Melbourne against the Warriors in February. The 26-year-old has never featured in the NRL and will get the opportunity to pull on the Broncos jersey on Friday. With Fitzpatrick gone, the Steelers' defense should still be elite or close to it. The team is working on a new contract for T.J. Watt, who pairs with Alex Highsmith as a fierce pass-rushing duo. Cameron Heyward is a veteran stalwart on the defensive line, and adding Ramsey shores up the cornerback spot. But safety remains the key missing piece. By signing Simmons, Pittsburgh would inject experience and leadership to pair with Deshon Elliott, who played with Ramsey briefly in Miami.
