The proposed industrial sector is set to be developed adjacent to AB Road on the vacant parcel of land, targeting investments from textile manufacturers, component producers and food processing enterprises.
MPIDC Indore executive director Himanshu Prajapati said, "We got allotted 60 hectare land in Khargone district from Khargone administration. This parcel of undeveloped land will be used to extend the existing industrial belt.
The proximity of this parcel to the road and resources makes it a suitable place for industries. We are looking to attract investments from across sectors in this area."
The upcoming industrial belt will be Nimrani Phase 2, where the industries department is planning to attract investments from anchor units and local industries. MPIDC is also establishing new industrial areas at Tarapur and Maharaj Khedi in Khargone district.
