Megan Young just gave every mom a reason to laugh and relate with her latest hilarious video.
On Instagram, the first-time mom playfully gave herself a reality check in a hilarious 'expectations vs. reality' video, showing that her labor journey did not quite go as planned.
In the first part, Miss World 2013 showed glowing and stunning maternity photos with the caption, "What I thought I would look like in labor."
Then came the reality of her during childbirth, looking pale while lying on a hospital bed. She jokingly blamed the unexpected look on her husband, Mikael Daez, calling him "the culprit" who tied her hair.
"Akala ko may oras pa ako mag-ayos para maganda sa picture after giving birth.. but when I woke up, I was fully dilated," she shared.
At the end of her post, Megan thanked Mikael Daez for taking care of her, even joking that she looked like the "Teletubbies" because of the hairstyle he had given her.
The first-time parents tied the knot in 2020. They welcomed their baby boy in May.

With excitement growing for the arrival of their baby boy, Mikael even prepared cameras and phones to document the special moment and share it with loved ones, all while staying by Megan's side. Megan gave birth to baby Leon after almost a 20-hour labor. While breastfeeding baby Leon, Megan shared she still could not believe that motherhood had finally become her reality. "Oh my gosh, I'm breastfeeding, I can't believe I'm doing this, this is insane," she said. As a first-time mom, Megan shared that she is filled with "happiness, excitement, and so much love." The beauty queen continued to express her excitement, saying that being a mother is "fun" and everything still feels new to her. Home became even warmer as the couple brought their baby boy in for the first time, and their family was moved to tears of joy. Overwhelmed with joy, Megan burst into tears, saying, "I'm so happy." Megan Young, Mikael Daez enjoy first date night since becoming parents
Megan Young and Mikael Daez marked a sweet milestone as new parents: their first date night since welcoming their son, Leon. On Instagram, the Miss World 2013 shared photos from their dinner date at Inatô in Makati City, where they received a special congratulatory dessert to celebrate their new journey into parenthood. 'Mom and Dad's first date out! We decided to celebrate our new chapter as parents by celebrating each other,' Megan wrote. She also expressed how much time they've devoted to caring for their newborn while acknowledging how they must make time for each other as husband and wife. The Kapuso couple also spent the evening with Mikael's brother Sandro and his partner Bea, who was celebrating her birthday. 'Thankful for the help that we got last night to watch Leon at home while we were out for a couple of hours!' Megan said.
