On Wednesday morning, the Fever posted a recap of the celebration for fans who may have missed the historic moment.
Indiana had five players score in double figures in the win. Remarkably, this was the third straight game that Stephanie White's squad played without star guard Caitlin Clark, who remains out with a groin injury.
Natasha Howard was named MVP of the game, finishing with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Aliyah Boston was close behind with 12 points and 11 boards.

Sophie Cunningham provided a spark off the bench, contributing 13 points and seven rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell and Aari McDonald were the other two double-digit scorers, with both players finishing with 12 points.

Defensively, the Fever were outstanding. They held Minnesota star Napheesa Collier to just 12 points on 6-of-18 shooting, though she did grab nine rebounds.
Indiana will have a quick turnaround as they host the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday. Clark's status for that game remains questionable.

Sophie Cunningham had Perfect Reaction to Caitlin Clark's Three-Word Message

Sophie Cunningham had Perfect Reaction to Caitlin Clark's Three-Word Message originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The old saying "winning cures all ills" couldn't be more fitting for the Indiana Fever right now. While Caitlin Clark has been sidelined since June 24 with a groin injury, the team has found its rhythm without her. Advertisement Clark will miss Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Sparks, marking her fifth straight absence. Despite that, Indiana is rolling into the weekend aiming for a fourth straight win after Thursday's blowout over the Las Vegas Aces. The Fever are not just clicking on the court. Off the court, the chemistry is just as strong, and it was on full display in a playful Instagram exchange between Clark and guard Sophie Cunningham. Clark posted a photo of Cunningham jogging during warm-ups, her hair in disarray, with the caption: 'love this hairstyle' while tagging her teammate. Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clark poke fun at each other on Cunningham, Instagram Cunningham was quick to respond, resharing the photo with her own message: Advertisement 'this is you on a good day so RELAX princess.' It's the kind of lighthearted banter that shows how connected this group has become under head coach Stephanie White. Cunningham, who has played 12 games with the Fever, hasn't put up big numbers but has brought a spark to the rotation. Over the last two games, Indiana has outscored opponents by an average of 21 points with her on the court. Fever Star Sophie Cunningham Celebrated For 'Incredible' Gesture

Fever Star Sophie Cunningham Celebrated For 'Incredible' Gesture originally appeared on The Spun. Sophie Cunningham has dealt with some criticism during her first season with the Indiana Fever. On Friday, however, all she received was praise. Advertisement Earlier this week, Cunningham made headlines when she was asked about the WNBA's expansion plans. She questioned if people would be excited to play for Cleveland or Detroit. Obviously, that remark didn't sit well with people from those two cities. After a day of nonstop criticism, she retracted her initial comments. "Yeah, OK. First of all, I know the history behind the WNBA. I know that both of those cities have had teams before, and they got us where we're at. So I'm thankful for that," Cunningham said. "All I was really getting at is like — Broadway, the off-court lifestyle, and so I think that is really intriguing. I think Miami is intriguing. That's all I was getting at." Luckily for Cunningham, she won't have to apologize for her latest act. After warming up for roughly 30 minutes, she fulfilled that promise. Advertisement "I've had the pleasure of meeting many celebrities , athletes etc. but nothing tops this brief moment with my daughter and @sophie_cham," Howze wrote on Instagram. "Sophie promised my daughter that she would sign her jersey. After warming up for 30-40 min and being pulled into so many directions, she remembered that she gave her word to this little girl, kept her promise and made a B line straight for her. Thank you for this moment Sophie." Howze shared a video of this heartwarming interaction for everyone to see. Countless fans praised Cunningham for this classy gesture. "This is amazing I love it," one person commented. Advertisement "Yet another amazing reason to love Sophie Cunningham," a second person wrote. "That's how you build a league," a third person said. For the most part, Cunningham has enjoyed a really good week - on and off the court. During the WNBA Commissioner's Cup final, she scored 13 points in a 74-59 victory over the Minnesota Lynx. Cunningham will return to the hardwood on Saturday night when the Indiana Fever take on the Los Angeles Sparks. Caitlin Clark Injury Update Has WNBA Fans Deeply Worried

Caitlin Clark Injury Update Has WNBA Fans Deeply Worried originally appeared on The Spun. The Indiana Fever are slowly but surely getting used to life without Caitlin Clark. Earlier this season, Clark missed a few games due to a quad injury. She returned to the hardwood on June 14 and reminded the world why she's a generational talent, scoring 32 points in a win over the New York Liberty. A few games later however, she went down with a groin strain. Advertisement Clark last played for the Fever on June 24 against the Seattle Storm. They've gone 3-1 in the last four games without her, which gives the coaching staff reason to be patient with their All-Star guard. "My goal has always been the same: I don't want this to be something that lingers, that we come back too soon," Fever coach Stephanie White told reporters this week. "We want to make sure that she is 100% ready to go and that we put her long-term health and wellness at the forefront." Unfortunately for WNBA fans, Clark will miss her fifth consecutive game on Saturday when the Fever take on the Los Angeles Sparks. Her status was officially announced on Friday afternoon. (Photo by Jeff Haynes/NBAE via Getty Images)After learning that Clark will miss Saturday's game, WNBA fans expressed their concerns online. Many of them believe the former No. 1 pick's groin injury is far more serious than initially expected. Advertisement "This is actually getting annoying. Like they were never honest of the severity of the injury we all knew it was going to be weeks but they said it was day to day," one fan said in response to Clark's status. "Like a stab through my heart every time," a second fan wrote on X. "Nah this is crazy what is wrong with that groin dawg," another fan said. "This injury serious man they tried hiding it too long and having her play when they knew she wasn't 100%," a Fever fan commented. Maybe the Fever are giving Clark a few more days off before their game on July 9. If Clark is unable to suit up for next Wednesday's game, it might be time to sound the alarm.
