Three Lions boss Tuchel is in the US at the Club World Cup to watch a number of his international stars.
He has also combined the trip with a recce ahead of next summer's World Cup out there as he plots to end 60 years of hurt for our nation.
U21's head coach Lee Carsley revealed last week that he has been in regular contact with Tuchel.
He added that the German has been 'very supportive' of both him and his players.

There are still hopes he could have enough time to make the 5,000-mile-plus journey to be at the Narodny Futbalovy Stadion to see the Young Lions take on his home nation.
If he does make it, then we can confirm that he could be sat next to Nagelsmann in the VIP seats - the man he replaced at Bayern Munich in 2023.
Rather than following suit and trekking to the States, Nagelsmann has been topping up his suntan in Majorca on a yacht.

But he will leave the Spanish island hotspot and fly 1,622 miles to watch his nation's young guns try to topple England.
The Young Lions are looking to retain their Euro crown having knocked out both Spain and the Dutch in less than a week.

Carsley said: "We've got so much quality.
"But, more importantly, we've got a squad that believe that they can win.
"There's more belief, which is important if we're going to go that one step more, which is generally the hardest step now – getting over the line.
" But I'm so proud of them and hopefully everyone has enjoyed watching us during this tournament."

Lauren James in line to make return from injury for England against Jamaica
The Chelsea forward, 23, has been unable to feature for club or country since limping off midway through the Lionesses' 5-0 Nations League win against Belgium nearly three months ago. James returned to training last week and boss Sarina Wiegman says the England star could feature in Sunday's final warm-up friendly against Jamaica at Leicester's King Power Stadium. 'We have to manage the minutes,' the Lionesses head coach said. 'She's doing really well, but of course she hasn't played games yet. But she's in a good place. 😁 LJ — Lionesses (@Lionesses) June 26, 2025 'She will likely come off the bench, we can manage that a bit. She showed up on the training session really well. 'She could cope with loads and recover from loads. Her performance has been really good. 'She's ready, we're just still growing into minutes. This is the first time in a while that she's coming into a game and [she needs to] get through that. Then we'll take it from there towards the tournament.' James sparkled during England's run to the World Cup final in Australia two years ago and team-mate Jess Carter says it is 'really exciting' for her to be back. 'For me she's a good friend and we all know she is an incredible footballer, but I think the most impressive thing for me is just that she has come back in like a new player,' the defender said. 'Maybe the injury was a bit of a blessing in disguise, in terms of that she just looks so fresh, so sharp, and she really impacts the game and the team. 'And she is a pain to play against. Good luck to any of the other players having to play against her in the tournament.' England kick-off their Euros title defence against France in Zurich next Saturday, before Group D continues with clashes against the Netherlands and Wales. Squad selfie 🤳 ✅ — Lionesses (@Lionesses) June 27, 2025 It is a tough-looking pool, but Football Association chief executive Mark Bullingham has said that Wiegman will stay regardless of the outcome in Switzerland. 'We've had conversations and, of course, I extended my contract until 2027, after the World Cup,' said the Lionesses boss, who has led England to Euros glory and a World Cup final in her two tournaments at the helm. 'We're going into a new tournament now and I feel very happy here. I'm excited to go into a new tournament. 'I'm not looking too much ahead – the contract is until 2027 and I've always felt so much support from Mark and the board and I still feel that way. And it's really nice that he confirms that.'

Natalie Sawyer hits back at Arsenal criticism over Christian Norgaard transfer
Natalie Sawyer has hit back at criticism over Arsenal's push to sign Brentford captain Christian Norgaard. Arsenal are in the market for two new central midfielders this summer as Jorginho has already joined Flamengo for the Club World Cup, while Thomas Partey's contract is due to expire on Monday and an agreement over a new deal has not been reached. Martin Zubimendi is expected to join in a £55 million deal from Real Sociedad but Arsenal have also made a move this week to sign Norgaard from Brentford. A £9m bid was submitted to Brentford this week and Arteta is understood to be personally pushing for the Denmark international due to his experience. Arsenal, however, have been accused of lacking ambition in the transfer market but talkSPORT host Sawyer, who is a Brentford fan, is adamant that the 31-year-old can become a key figure under Arteta. 'There's been a lot of snobbery I've seen about him and whether or not he's really the type of player Arsenal should be looking at,' Sawyer told talkSPORT on Saturday. 'What I will say about Christian Norgaard, yes, I'm surprised, I didn't see that one coming, he's our club captain, I'm gutted that he might be leaving. 'What you're getting is a player who is a No.6 by trade, he starts the build-up play for example at Brentford, he's one of those who puts the tackles in, he'll do a bit of dirty work as well, he might do a tactical foul if need be, he's also a threat at set-pieces, I'm not saying he's prolific but he'll still score goals. More Trending 'He's a Steady Eddie – again, Steady Eddie doesn't sound, 'wow, that's amazing', but isn't that what you want from a defensive midfielder at the end of the day? 'He is such a professional, honestly, he is brilliant. He's one of those I can well imagine becoming a teacher's pet. 'He was Thomas Frank's teacher's pet, he could easily be Mikel Arteta's teacher's pet. Not playing as regularly but just because he'll want to learn, he'll want to work under a manager like Arteta, I'm sure. 'So in that sense, I wish people would stop looking at the fact he's from Brentford, and just look at the style of play he brings, the type of person he is, I think he could be a terrific addition. A squad, player, it's all about depth at the end of the day.' For more stories like this, check our sport page. Follow Metro Sport for the latest news on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Chelsea join Man Utd in £45m Emiliano Martinez race as star's preference emerges
Manchester United have been linked to a summer move for Emiliano Martinez and the belief in South America is that he would prefer a switch to Old Trafford ahead of joining Chelsea Chelsea have been offered the chance to strike a £45million deal for Aston Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez. Villa are resigned to being forced to cash in on the World Cup-winning Argentine in a bid to ease fears over failing the Premier League 's PSR test and are aware that the Blues are in the market for a new No 1. Manchester United have been linked to a summer move for the 32-year-old former Arsenal shot-stopper and the belief in South America is that he would prefer a switch to Old Trafford. But United boss Ruben Amorim has other priorities to address this summer and will be unable to buy a new No 1 unless the Reds find a club willing to pay £35million for Andre Onana. And that has opened the door for Chelsea to step up their bid after Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen both failed to impress under boss Enzo Maresca. Martinez has a huge admirer at Stamford Bridge in the shape of assistant manager Willy Caballero. He has been exceptional during his six years at Villa Park and was hailed as the world 's best goalkeeper after excelling for Argentina as they prevailed in Qatar in 2022. Villa admire Royal Antwerp's highly-rated Senne Lammens, but there are a number of other clubs tracking the 22-year-old - including United. Villa need to sell to balance the books and are reluctant to lose rising England star Morgan Rogers. It is set to be a summer of big-money goalkeeper transfers. Newcastle are closing in on Burnley 's James Trafford despite seeing the Clarets put a £40million valuation on the England Under-21 international's head. Toon saw an £17 million bid for Trafford rejected a year ago - and their refusal to come up with the additional £5 million it would have taken to make the deal happen is now going to cost them. The Toon were hoping to pay closer to £30 million this summer, but the newly-promoted Clarets will have to pay Manchester City 20 percent of any profit they make on Trafford as part of the £15 million deal that took him to Turf Moor two years ago. Leeds are monitoring Newcastle's interest in Trafford because they have set their sights on taking England international Nick Pope from the Tyneside club to boost their own chances of surviving in the Premier League. Pope has now posted a message on Trafford's Instagram story saying 'see you soon'. Burnley have signed 21-year-old Max Weiss from German club Karlsruher, but manager Scott Parker will want a more experienced keeper if he loses Trafford to ambitious Newcastle.
