'Best lash serum ever' with over 50K reviews has shoppers ditching false lashes
Thousands of shoppers are swearing by the 'best lash serum ever' and there's a way to get it for less. UKLash's Eyelash Enhancing Serum typically costs £38 but drops down to £30.40 when subscribing.
The serum uses a number of ingredients to fortify lashes. Biotin peptide is used for its role in processing fatty acids and boosting their effectiveness which leads to stronger and fuller lashes. Green tea is also used for soothing skin and helping lashes grow. Panthenol, also known as vitamin B5, repairs, protects and nourishes the hair follicle while Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 is used for stimulating the production of Keratin - a viral protein for lash growth.
There are other serums on the market, such as the £27 RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum which has 585 five-star reviews on LookFantastic and Glow For It's £29.99 Lash Growth Serum. The latter has 1,175 reviews although it's hard to compete with the thousands on UKLash.
UKLash's serum has pulled in an average rating of 4.8 out of five from over 51,000 reviews online. One shopper said: "I had little to no lashes when I started using this, not because of my lash extensions, but simply due to genetics. I've never had long, full lashes. After two months of consistent use, this serum absolutely works. I started noticing real results around the 4- to 6-week mark, definite length and even some volume improvement.
"Of course, results can vary from person to person, but this has been a game-changer for me. I couldn't be happier with the difference it's made!"
Another shopper wrote: " Best lash serum ever. I have been using this since early April (it's now May) and I have NOT gone back to lashes since, I used to never be able to go out the house without clusters and now all I have to do is chuck a little bit of mascara on and I'm set, this has had such fast results I'm genuinely in love! Please take this as your sign to cop!"
One shopper found the serum a little uncomfortable to use, writing: "A little disappointed by how they make my eyes feel! I should have gotten the sensitive eye version since whenever I use it, my eyes get red and a bit stingy."
There is a Sensitive Lash Growth Serum that has proven popular with shoppers although it has around 700 reviews rather than the thousands on the classic serum.

Aldi confirms return date of sell-out Olaplex alternative for less than £4 a bottle
The viral haircare line is officially set for a comeback - but shoppers will need to act fast. Hair bonding has become one of the most popular beauty trends in recent years. Of course, the one brand that comes to mind is Olaplex. While the professional brand has earned a cult reputation over the years, it does come with a steep price-tag of £28 per bottle, which has led to many retailers offering their own versions for cheaper. One of them is Aldi, with the supermarket introducing its Lacura Bonded Haircare into its Specialbuys range back in 2022. At under £4 a bottle, it's no surprise it was quickly snapped up and sold out almost as soon as it went available. However, there's good news, as the budget chain has officially confirmed that its viral haircare line will once again be available to buy next week, as it will drop back in the 'middle aisle' from Thursday, July 31. Crowned 'Best Budget and Bond-Building' by Good House keeping, the line-up features three hair products that offer luxury results on a budget, working out at just £3.99 a bottle - making them 86 percent cheaper than Olaplex. Included is the Pre-Wash Treatment (100ml) that has been packed with extracts of Jojoba Seed Oil and Panthenol to promote "shinier" locks, while working to strengthen and reduce heat damage. There's also the Bonded Shampoo (250ml) that uses Glycerin, Castor, Banana, and Pomegranate Extract to repair and strengthen, while the Bonded Conditioner (250ml) uses avocado and argan oil to reduce frizz. When the trio first landed in stores, they quickly went viral among multiple loyal customers who said it left their locks "stronger", with some urging others to "stock up" before it inevitably sold. In fact, before it was gone, and subsequently showed up on eBay for up to £35, the Daily Record's Beauty Writer Rachel Williams managed to try the Bonded line out on her then bleached blonde tresses, saying it left them "extremely soft, silky and a lot more hydrated than it usually does." Sharing her review, she said: "Generally the whole range gave my hair the same luxurious feel as the Olaplex products, but at £70 cheaper - which, I consider a win in my book." She then further added: "Honestly, as a fan of Olaplex, I can safely say that Aldi's bonded products are just as good and are another worthy entry into the supermarket's legendary line up of affordable 'dupes'. And, if the products come back into stock, then I will certainly be purchasing more." However, it's not just our beauty-writer approved trio that will be returning to stores, as the Lacura Bonded Purple Shampoo (250ml) will also be back for blondes looking to banish brassiness. Formulated with violet pigments to counteract yellow and orange hues, it leaves the hair looking brighter and bolder, while also using collagen, argan oil and hemp seed to provide "deep moisturization." Lastly, the line-up will also feature the Lacura Bonded Moisture Mask, that retails at £1 dearer, coming in at £4.99 for a 100ml bottle, which is still much cheaper than Olaplex's No.8 Intense Bond Moisture Mask (£28, 100ml.) This "intense" treatment uses conditioning agents such as Panthenol to increase shine and help keep frizz at bay, while also working to strengthen and smooth damaged hair. Aldi's Lacura Bonded Collection will return to stores from Thursday, July 31. Remember, Specialbuys can sell out fast, so act fast to avoid disappointment. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Practitioner-grade 55p-a-day supplement for thinning hair makes it 'healthy, happy' Dr Vegan's Hair Saviour capsules are formulated with 14 key ingredients that promote stronger and healthier hair - and fans have claimed it can work wonders in just a few weeks Before and after using Dr Vegan's hair growth tablets (Image: Dr Vegan ) Whether it's due to age, stress, menopause, post-partum or simply hereditary factors, hair loss and thinning is a surprisingly common issue. Many products, supplements and treatments aimed at combating hair loss can be expensive, but customers have been lauding a practitioner-grade supplement that costs 55p a day, saying people 'couldn't believe' the difference it made. Dr Vegan's Hair Saviour is a plant-based, science-backed supplement that combines 14 key ingredients designed to promote stronger and healthier hair. Formulated by nutritionists, the capsules include clinically studied ingredients such as MSM, Biotin, Saw Palmetto, Zinc, Selenium, Silica and the hero component AnaGain. AnaGain, derived from pea sprouts, contains something called phytonutrients, which have been proven to support hair growth and fuller, thicker hair. A clinical study of the ingredient showed a 78% increase in the ratio of healthy hair follicles over three months. In the world of beauty supplements, Hairburst is a UK-based brand that focuses on promoting hair growth and strength, with their product including ingredients such as collagen and biotin. On the flip side, Australian brand JSHealth Hair + Energy, retailing for £24.99 for a monthly supply, touts kelp, iodine, and zinc as its formula's powerhouse components. The company claims that generally, consumers observe major improvements in hair density, minimise shedding, and witness new hair sprouting within two to three months from starting the regimen. Nonetheless, numerous users who shared their feedback on the product mentioned seeing tangible results even earlier than expected. Lisa enthusiastically reported: "I've only been taking it for five weeks and I can see a difference already. My hair is in much better condition, my nails have grown, my eyebrows have grown as have my eyelashes. I am so impressed". This vegan supplement is said to help both women and men grow stronger, thicker hair (Image: Dr Vegan ) Similarly, Emma shared her success story with chemically damaged locks describing how they turned "soft, shiny" once more. She detailed her experience by saying, "I had a hair disaster in 2020/21 when I decided to go blonde and I never thought I would ever get my hair back to a good condition. "I started Hair Saviour at the end of January and within a month my hair felt different. Soft, shiny hair was making a return, my hairdresser couldn't believe how much it had grown between appointments. I am so thrilled to have healthy, happy hair again and at 53 years old." Women aren't the only beneficiaries of this product's apparent success, with one user named James sharing his experience: "I was a bit sceptical at the start, but after 3 months, I really noticed an improvement in thickness and general appearance. Have been taking it for well over a year now and would definitely recommend." But the supplement isn't working miracles for everyone, as a different user revealed: "I've been using this product for well over six months now and to be honest I really can't see any improvement in the volume or thickness of my hair. Saying that my hairdresser has noticed a difference? But my hair still looks the same to me. I still have it coloured and perhaps this doesn't help. I'll continue to use it until the end of the year and if I still feel the same." Meanwhile, Rebbecca – who suffers from autoimmune-related hair thinning – spoke highly about the product's benefits, saying: "I have taken Hair Saviour for a month now and my hair is already feeling smoother, sleeker, less frizzy and I can go much longer between washes without it getting greasy. With autoimmune illnesses and related meds, my hair is usually fine, brittle and falling out - genuinely feel this isn't the case anymore. Can't praise it enough." A subscription of the supplement, paired with a discount code, makes each capsule work out just over 22p, or 55p per day (Image: Dr Vegan ) Dr Vegan's supplement is usually priced at £25.99 for a month's supply, which involves taking two capsules daily. These can be consumed at once or spread across morning, daytime or evening. At present, customers have the chance to save 25% by using the discount code SAVIOUR25 at checkout, reducing the price to just £19.50, equivalent to 65p a day. A three-month supply is recommended for the full effect, which is £52.50 down from £69.99 with the code, averaging at 58p per day. However, the most cost-effective method is with the rolling subscription, which saves an additional 15%, with the first month equating to £16.57, or 55p a day. Supplements aren't the only answer to hair loss, with topical treatments also targeting hair loss and thinning available on the high street. The Philip Kingsley Density Hair and Scalp Preserving Collection, worth £80, is now reduced to £57.60 at LookFantastic. It includes some scalp drops and a scalp foam containing organic pea sprout extract, similar to Dr Vegan, to visibly thicken the strands and add a lustrous shine. They reportedly 'reverse loss', 'stop thinning' and 'restore density'. Or, for those seeking a plant-based boost to their hair care routine, Dr Vegan's Hair Saviour might just live up to its name.
