'From the start, our goal with Mandala Murders was to create a world that feels unknown yet grounded — where every truth has layers and every answer leads to more questions,' shares Gopi Puthran, creator and director. 'Crafting the tension, weaving in symbolism, and watching this brilliant cast bring it to life has been incredibly rewarding. Partnering with Netflix gave us the scale and vision to bring this layered story to life.'
Director Manan Rawat adds, 'Every episode adds another piece to the puzzle - challenging everything you think you know. Vaani, Vaibhav, and Surveen bring a rare blend of raw emotion and intensity with their performances. With Netflix we were able to craft a world that's as visually compelling as it is emotionally charged — where every frame deepens the suspense, and every character leaves an impact.'
Tanya Bami, Series Head at Netflix adds, 'Mandala Murders, our next offering is very exciting series that blends the world of crime and mythology, where every layer reveals something more mysterious and eerie. This compelling mystery unravels with every episode,, where each murder or killing takes the audience a step deeper into the mandala! We absolutely love the concept and the mythology that Gopi Puthran and Manan Rawat have created, not only is it intriguing but also distinctly rooted in our storytelling culture. With Yash Raj Films, our longstanding creative partners backing this vision, and a standout cast led by Vaani Kapoor, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Surveen Chawla, and Shriya Pilgaonkar, this is a story that grips you from the get-go. After the resounding success of The Railway Men and Maharaj, we are excited to bring one more gem from Yash Raj Films on our service"

There are horror films… and then there's World War Z. Released back in 2013, this chilling thriller took the world by storm—literally. And now, 12 years later, it still holds its ground on streaming platforms, refusing to fade away. The film isn't just a horror ride; it's a warning shot wrapped in chaos. A mysterious virus spreads fast across the globe, turning people into violent, fast-moving zombies. Amid all this destruction is one man, Gerry Lane, played by Brad Pitt, who risks it all to save what's left of the human race. Why has World War Z survived the test of time? Because it feels real. The panic. The fear. The desperation. The movie doesn't give you a moment to breathe, as Gerry travels from country to country chasing a cure, fighting undead armies and impossible odds. Directed by Marc Forster, World War Z combines tight storytelling, nerve-racking action, and eerie music to create a cinematic experience that still manages to shake viewers to their core. Who's in it and what makes it stand out? Besides Brad Pitt, the film features solid performances by Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, and Peter Capaldi. But it's Pitt's intensity and vulnerability that make you root for him. The cinematography, editing, and zombie design take things a notch higher—these aren't your slow-moving zombies. These are fast, deadly, and terrifying. Numbers speak louder than screams Made on a whopping budget of around ₹1,597 crore ($190 million), the film earned more than ₹4,547 crore ($540 million) globally. It proved that even zombie thrillers, when done right, can smash box-office records. Still trending in 2025? World War Z first dropped on OTT in September 2013 via DVD and Blu-ray, and later hit Netflix, Paramount+, and other platforms. Even in 2025, it remains among Netflix's Top 10 most-watched films. The recent rise in zombie-themed shows has brought it back into conversation. Why you should watch it (Again) If you're into fast-paced thrillers, emotional arcs, or simply love zombie lore—this one's a must-watch. And yes, it's available in Hindi too.

Raveena Tandon Confirms Aranyak Season 2 ‘Is Not Happening'

Last Updated: Raveena Tandon confirms Aranyak season 2 isn't happening. Despite fan hopes, she says the script didn't meet expectations and the platform hasn't moved forward. Raveena Tandon made her OTT web series debut with the 2021 hit Aranyak. With the thriller becoming an instant success upon release, fans anticipated that the series would return for another season. However, it looks like fans will be disappointed, as Raveena Tandon has officially confirmed that there has been no development regarding Aranyak season two — and honestly, it's not on the cards. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Raveena shared, 'It's not happening," and added, 'Now I can say it. Earlier, we all had hope. In fact, I think season two was written as well, but I am not sure what the platform has in mind. Every time they say, 'Oh my God, it was a great show and one of our highest-viewed shows immediately after COVID.' That was a role so close to my heart, and I loved playing that character. But I don't think they were able to crack a good script for season two. And then the expectations were so high, so they didn't want to spoil that." Raveena Tandon marked her digital debut with the Netflix original thriller series Aranyak, which premiered on December 10, 2021. Her portrayal of Kasturi Dogra, an investigating officer from Himachal Pradesh, won her rave reviews from critics and the audience alike. The show turned out to be one of the most popular series of that year and remained in Netflix's top ten list for several months. Written by Charudutt Acharya and directed by Vinay Waikul, the story is based on the famous Bengali novel of the same name authored by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. It revolves around political ploys, personal agendas, and the myth of a murderous entity that emerges as two mismatched hill station police officers navigate a web of suspects after a puzzling murder. The show also stars Parambrata Chatterjee and Ashutosh Rana. Raveena Tandon, one of the most charismatic actresses of the 1990s, has established a unique place in Indian cinema with her beauty, talent, and versatility. She made a remarkable debut in Bollywood with the 1991 film Patthar Ke Phool, opposite Salman Khan. The film was a commercial success and earned her the Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year, quickly positioning her as a rising star in the industry.
