Woman singing in a bar gobsmacked after spotting A-list star standing behind her
A woman who was singing her heart out in a bar was left stunned when she realised an A-list celebrity was standing right behind her, enjoying the music A woman has been left baffled after spotting an A-list star standing behind her in a bar. Lauren Greco, an LA-based singer, was singing in a bar last week and had gathered quite the audience - including one celebrity known for his film roles. While belting out Adele's hit Someone Like You, Lauren was completely unaware of the Hollywood heavyweight soaking up her vocals from behind. The moment was captured on video and later shared on Instagram, where Lauren spotted the celebrity cameo only after posting the clip, admitting she "didn't realise" who it was at the time due to her focus on the song. Her post read: "POV: Singing my heart out. Didn't realise who was right behind me." She also quipped in her caption: "This wasn't on my 2025 bingo card ... but I'll take it." Despite not naming the star in her video, eagle-eyed fans in the comments were quick to spot a man clad in black with a baseball cap, sparking speculation that Leonardo DiCaprio himself had been the mystery spectator. Commenters were left stunned after spotting the Titanic star in the background, with many expressing their envy for such a serendipitous encounter with the renowned actor, famed for his roles in Inception, The Wolf of Wall Street and The Revenant. One individual exclaimed: "This is crazy! Just nonchalantly and casually singing your face off with Leo in the background!". Another chimed in: "That's crazy. Small world. Amazing voice!". Some commenters admitted they struggled to identify the celebrity at first glance, while others remained sceptical that the man donning the baseball cap was indeed the 50-year-old Los Angeles-based actor. One sceptic commented: "Am I the only person to think he just looks like Leo DiCaprio? I don't think it's him, looks different when he smiles, but could be wrong." Another voiced their doubt: "I don't think that was actually Leo." A third insisted: "That is 1000% not Leo." Disappointment was palpable among several commenters who had anticipated the video climaxing with Adele joining Lauren in song, only to find out that wasn't the case. One person remarked: "Call me crazy, but I was looking for Adele. I had to come to the comments to find out who I was actually looking for." Another shared their anticipation: "I was expecting l Adele to come up behind her and start singing. Wicked voice girl." Leonardo DiCaprio has been contacted for a statement.

UK's youngest lottery winner finds new love after split with boyfriend
The UK's youngest ever lottery winner has found a new partner after splitting with her boyfriend. Callie Rogers, who won £1.8million when she was just 16 in 2003, has shared photos of herself with her new partner, 35-year-old gas engineer Todd Eilbeck. One of the pictures was captioned 'My 'world' my best friend'. Todd also shared a photo of himself with Callie, who's now 38 and lives in Workington, Cumbria In October the Sun reported she was with engineer Lee Mathews but she later posted on social media she had been bringing up her fifth child as a single mum. On the youngster's first birthday, she wrote she was 'doing it alone', adding: 'Most would describe the first year as tiring and challenging, but for me it's been the most magical, rewarding year of my life… ' It is not clear who the father of the child is. Callie was working as a shop assistant in her local Co-op for just £3.60 an hour when she hit the jackpot. She reportedly spent the money on homes for herself and her family, plastic surgery, drugs, tattoos, clothes and travelling. After nine years, it was all gone. She said £500,000 was spent on friends and family, with some of it loans that weren't repaid. 'I would give money to distant relatives and friends of friends. I loaned £20,000 here, and £13,000 there. I would never get it back,' she told The Mirror in 2019. 'People asked for money for new cars and I would help out. It was a soft touch. 'Now I realise what they were like. I was exploited because of my age. I had a lot of fake relationships.' The same year she told Australia's Today show that she did receive advice on how to invest the money: 'There was quite a few different people who spoke to us but at that age but you don't have any concept of that amount of money or what to do with it,' she said. 'First thing I bought was houses for myself and some of my family, and cars, and just mainly gifts for other people. 'I liked being able to help my family and doing stuff for people I cared about, but I wanted to just go back to work and live my normal life again. 'All of a sudden I couldn't open my front door with photographers and stuff being there and, obviously, you have people begging for money, friends who weren't friends before wanting to be your friends.' More Trending Callie will probably keep her record as the UK's youngest lottery winner as the minimum age that someone can play were lifted to 18 in 2021. Last month, the family who scooped £216 million jackpot in the EuroMillions draw revealed how they would be spending their fortune. The family from Cork, Ireland, won the largest EuroMillions prize in Ireland's history, after buying a ticket from a small Centra store. EuroMillions players urged to check their tickets after jackpot unclaimed
A whopping £145 million remains unclaimed from Friday's EuroMillions after lottery operator Allwyn confirmed there were no jackpot winners. The jackpot remains up for grabs for ticketholders who have yet to check their EuroMillions draw on Friday. The winning prize has been rolled over to Tuesday's draw, which stands at an estimated £157,000,000. EuroMillions players have been urged to check their tickets after Allwyn announced the National Lottery will shut down for 36 hours on Saturday and Sunday. The outage is for good reason as the National Lottery will make way for the biggest technology upgrade in the game's 31-year history. It means players will not be able to purchase tickets or check results in shops from 11pm on Saturday night following the Lotto and Thunderball draws until 'late Monday morning', operator Allwyn said. Lottery winners have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their winnings. The National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers from Friday's draw were 04, 16, 25, 29, 30. The lucky stars were 02, 10 The estimated jackpot is £145 million One UK millionaire has been created from the Millionaire Maker Selection with the code TGLL13138 To win, ticket holders need to match the five main EuroMillions numbers and the Lucky Stars The National Lottery Thunderball Friday draw winning numbers were 02, 09, 20, 23, 27 The Thunderball was 13 Several lucky winners have claimed their prizes in recent weeks, including best friends Carly Wiggett and Becky Witt who put their faith in a horoscope to win £168,000 each. The pair from Dartford, Kent, bought a EuroMillions ticket after Carly's mum, Tracy, read that a Pisces and Taurus would win the lottery if they entered together. Other winners include a family from Cork, Ireland who won £216,000,000 and revealed they plan to stay in their home city, with no 'outrageous plans to spend the cash yet – except maybe a Rolex'. However, other lucky winners have not been so fortunate after bagging their winnings, as assassination, abduction or substance abuse all form part of a curse following lottery winners. History has countless examples of winners whose lives took a turn for the worse after scooping a large sum of money. To win the full estimated £145,000,000 jackpot, winners must have five winning numbers, and the two EuroMillions Lucky Star numbers. For Friday's draw, the winning main EuroMillions numbers are 04, 16, 25, 29, 30. Meanwhile, the EuroMillions Lucky Star numbers are 02, 10. Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at Allwyn, said: 'How exciting – Tuesday night's (5 August) EuroMillions draw will be an amazing one, as an enormous £157M estimated jackpot is up for grabs. More Trending 'A single UK winner of this jaw-dropping prize would make National Lottery history, coming in at number seven on the list of the biggest National Lottery winners of all time, and it would also be the 20th win of over £100M since The National Lottery began.' Money that remains unclaimed after the deadline goes to the National Lottery's Good Causes fund, which supports projects across the country covering a range of sectors including arts, sports and local community groups. Every week, more than £30 million raised from ticket sales goes into the fund. Get in touch with our news team by emailing us at webnews@ For more stories like this, check our news page.
