'Liverpool's best beer garden' reopens inside iconic city centre space
The iconic landmark at the top of Bold Street was originally bombed during the May Blitz of 1941. Today, the church space is a striking partial ruin, surrounded by picturesque gardens.
Visitors can once again step inside and experience the space in a different way - with a pint in hand. The venue's Garden Bar is serving customers once again from today - Friday, April 4.

The beer garden has been set up in the gardens around the church building, with plenty of cover from enormous parasols if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Taking to Instagram to announce its return, The Garden Bar said: "Here we go again. It's almost time to chase the sun in our garden.
"Reopening this Friday, just in time for you to soak up the glorious weather this weekend in one of Liverpool's best beer gardens."
The beer garden is open on Friday from 1pm and on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 from 12pm.
The venue added: "Visiting our Garden bar supports the site's events, projects and upkeep - so whether you're sipping a coffee or enjoying a pint, you're supporting something bigger."
People were glad to hear of the news with Ted writing: "Such a wonderful space in the centre of town, love it", and Rachel adding: "Looks gorgeous".
It comes as another hidden gem of a space also reopened recently. Sub Rosa, which is run by the team behind the much-loved Botanical Garden, is welcoming customers into its suntrap space in the Baltic Triangle Area.
The venue features a large events space, with room for up to 30 people, seating areas made from converted trolleys and a bar made from a shipping container.
The extensive drinks menu includes a range of lager created in collaboration with Black Lodge Brewery, several cocktails, and the hugely popular flavoured gin slushies. You can read more about here.

Taylor Swift finally debuts on Travis Kelce's Instagram
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been together for two years, but the couple crossed a major milestone on Thursday. For the first time in their relationship, the 14-time Grammy winner made an appearance on Kelce's Instagram (@killatrav). "Had some adventures this offseason. Kept it 100," the caption of the post read. Kelce posted 13 photos -- a number significant to Swift -- that spanned several events and seasons from the last few months. There are images of Kelce with friends fishing and hiking, pictures with his brother, Jason Kelce, a picture from his Tight End University event, a picture of each of his parents, several images with girlfriend Taylor and many more. It was a lovely look into Kelce's life, highlighting friends and family since the season ended in February. ‘Lost the best friend I ever had': Kelly Osbourne pays tribute to Ozzy
Kelly Osbourne said she has lost her 'best friend' following the death of her father, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. The rock legend was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 and died at the age of 76 on Tuesday morning, surrounded by his family. In a heartfelt message posted to her Instagram stories on Thursday, Kelly shared lyrics from the Black Sabbath song Changes, a track she famously re-recorded with her father. 'I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had,' she wrote next to an emoji of a broken heart. Released in 2003, their reimagined duet hit number one on the UK Singles chart. The duo became only the second father-daughter act to top the chart, following Nancy and Frank Sinatra in 1967. Osbourne's death came a few weeks after he reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates on July 5 to play a farewell gig at Villa Park – a stone's throw from where the band was formed in 1968. After the live performance, Osbourne and his wife Sharon celebrated Kelly's engagement with her long-term partner Sid Wilson, a member of the heavy metal band Slipknot. The day after the gig, Kelly thanked her father's fans for attending his last live performance. She wrote on Instagram: 'To say that yesterday was magic was an understatement! 'Thank you to everyone who came to support my dad. Thank you to the fans who without we are nothing! 'My dad got his moment in the sun! He was able to say thank you and good bye in the most beautiful way!' He told the PA news agency: 'He (Osbourne) was very important and he was a proud Brummie. He loved the city. He will be much missed, I think, and he was loved by so many people in the city.' Other stars have also honoured the 'Prince of Darkness' by paying tribute to him during live concert performances, including Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Alice Cooper, who praised him for performing until he 'couldn't do it any more'.
