Man offers ‘parent' child porn to sexually assault their kids, AZ officials say
Christopher Delaney has been sentenced to 28 years in prison, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office said in a June 20 news release.
Authorities began investigating Delaney in 2023 after prosecutors said he made comments on a dating app called Sniffies.
An undercover Chandler officer then emailed Delaney posing as a parent with a 7-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter, prosecutors said.
Delaney told the officer he would pay them with a flash drive of child pornography if he could drug the children, tie them up and sexually abuse them, officials said.
But he said the children needed to be brought to his home because he was wearing an ankle monitor, prosecutors said.
The undercover officer said he'd meet Delaney and showed up with the 'kids' in a van, officials said.
Delaney went to the driveway with a 'rape kit' that included 'zip ties, melatonin gummies, body oil, lotion, soda, whiskey and weed pens,' prosecutors said.
He also had a flash drive containing more than 100 files of child pornography, officials said.
Delaney pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor and was sentenced to prison.
Chandler is about a 25-mile drive southeast from downtown Phoenix.

A woman accused of killing her husband in 'a betrayal that shattered a family' is heading to prison, Arizona officials said. Ivanka Deneva Koleva, 52, was ordered to serve 20 years behind bars in Stefan Koleva's 2023 killing, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office said in a June 16 news release. The sentence came after Ivanka Koleva pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, officials said. McClatchy News couldn't immediately reach her attorney June 16 for comment. Gilbert police found Stefan Koleva dead under a bed at home in November 2023 during a welfare check, officials said, noting that one of his kids had come to the area for Thanksgiving but hadn't seen him since getting into town. Stefan Koleva had been stabbed and shot, and his remains were wrapped up in plastic, according to officials. 'The victim's children told police that their mother, Ivanka Koleva, had been acting strangely over the last several days and asked them not to go inside the home. They also said she had recently been involved in a car crash,' according to officials. In the couple's home, 'police found evidence that the defendant had cleaned the crime scene, hid the victim's belongings, and attempted to repair a bullet hole in the bedroom door,' officials said. A weapon used in the killing also was found in the car she'd been driving when she crashed, officials said. 'This wasn't just a murder — it was a betrayal that shattered a family,' County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said in the release, adding that 'no one should ever have to endure that kind of horror, especially at the hands of their own mother.' Gilbert is about a 25-mile drive southeast from Phoenix.

Tennessee man charged with rape of a minor at Grandview Heights hotel
GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio (WCMH) – A Tennessee man has been arrested after allegations of kidnapping and rape of a minor at a Grandview Heights hotel. According to a criminal complaint, the Grandview Heights Police Department took a rape report from a juvenile victim at Nationwide Children's Hospital on May 5. The victim, 15, told police she met Davarus Delaney on a social media platform months earlier and that the two agreed to meet the Hyatt Place on Yard Street. At the hotel Grandview PD said that the victim was raped multiple times over a two-day period and that Delaney, 31, displayed a firearm and made numerous threats while not allowing her to leave the room. Over 400,000 Ohioans see driver's license suspensions lifted under new law The victim alleges that on April 28, Delaney became aggressive towards her, dragged her across the room and asked for oral sex. Delaney reportedly threatened to 'pistol whip' the girl if she did not comply before he raped her. Police said the following morning the victim was raped again while being choked. On June 5 police said Delaney was arrested in Tennessee by a U.S. Marshals Task Force and the Chattanooga Police Department. Five days later he was extradited to Columbus for court processing. Grandview PD reported that Delaney admitted to having sexual contact with the victim while knowing she was 15 years old. Court records indicate that Delaney appeared before a Franklin County Municipal Court judge Wednesday morning on two counts of rape and two counts of kidnapping. He was issued a $550,000 bond and is next scheduled to appear in court on June 20 for a preliminary hearing.
