Huge shock as ITV Coronation Street legend collapses in new spoiler video
A new Coronation Street spoiler video reveals the moment Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) collapses in front of her family.
Last year, Metro exclusively revealed that the iconic character was set to be diagnosed with young-onset dementia.
The storyline divided fans – who were pleased that Sue was finally being given her place in the spotlight – but furious that Debbie would ultimately be killed off.
Despite the overwhelming number of viewers opposing the plot, it was officially confirmed in January, and within a matter of weeks the character began to suffer memory loss.
Her condition was then officially confirmed by a private doctor, with only her younger brother Carl (Jonathan Howard) present. She's since concealed it from all of her family, and ended her relationship with partner Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) for fears he would have to one day become her carer.
She also felt like brother Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) was already going through enough, following his cancer diagnosis and subsequent chemotherapy.
In upcoming scenes, she suffers another setback.
When she arrives at her Chariot Square Hotel and spots Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) at the bar, she challenges him for drinking underage.
Debbie's behaviour quickly becomes erratic, and she smashes a glass on the bar.
A stunned Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) watches on, and later in the week, she worries when Debbie forgets to pay in the cafe.

An awards ceremony then gets underway at Speed Daal, and a jealous Debbie watches on as Ronnie laughs with Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson). She also spots Carl having an intimate conversation with Kevin's wife Abi (Sally Carman-Duttine), and they worry that their flirty behaviour has been spotted. More Trending
Suddenly, Debbie collapses, as shown in the spoiler video above.
When she regains consciousness, her concerned family gather around. They reveal that she's going to the hospital, and she tells them to stop, bravely opening up about her dementia.

Helen Flanagan reveals the sad reason she is selling her £1million family home as she addresses 'broke' claims
Helen Flanagan has opened up on the reason she is selling her £1million family home following her split from her ex Scott Sinclair. The Coronation Street star, 34, split from her footballer ex-fiance back in 2022, and they share three children - Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three - together. Earlier this year, Helen told in court how she was 'struggling financially' before being banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding. Now, Helen has set the record straight about her finances as she shared the sad reason why she has decided to sell her eight-bedroom £1million Cheshire mansion. 'I'm not in a financial crisis. I'm moving because I really need a fresh start,' she told OK! Magazine. 'Scott surprised me with this house and it was always supposed to be our happy family home, and it wasn't that. 'I like to be light-hearted and I hate to sound depressing, but there is a sadness in this house.' The former soap star admitted it had been 'a turbulent three years' and that she wanted to start fresh with her children. Helen hopes to move to London eventually, but for now, they are planning to stay where they are to avoid disrupting her kids' education. The soap star admitted that she will struggle to downsize from her lavish eight-bedroom house. Speaking on The Declutter Hub podcast with Ingrid Jansen and Lesley Spellman, she insisted she was 'down to earth' but that moving would be hard. I put loads of my savings into making it look really beautiful. It's eight bedrooms which is hard to keep on top of - it's a lot,' she shared. 'When we move I will struggle to downsize - I don't want to not sounds down to earth. Bu it will feel weird. It will be more manageable for me.' Helen split from Scott after 13 years together and then moved on with construction worker Robbie, 45, but they split in May and she now wants to be single. Speaking to The Mirror earlier this week, she explained: 'I'm concentrating on the kids, work, moving house and being with my friends. 'I'm quite sensitive and struggle with dating. There's always something with men. Now I want to be single a bit. 'Robbie was very sweet and kind. He was older than me and cared about me. 'Sometimes relationships just don't work long term.' Helen went on to admit that after Robbie's daughter Carina and her daughter Delilah became 'close', she will be hesitant to introduce her children to anyone in the future. Speaking on the Daily Mail's The Life of Bryony podcast in March, just weeks before their split, Helen gushed over her relationship with Robbie. She said: 'He's lovely. Everybody loves him. I just met him at a bar. I literally, I just, I could not stop laughing at this guy.' 'My boyfriend's actually the funniest guy I've ever met. He's got two kids and he's, he's really beautiful with my children.' 'I think that's what made me fall more in love with him because he's so good with my mental health things and that's the main thing for me that I need.' 'I need someone that's good for me mentally and emotionally, that's my top thing and that's what I've realised.' 'No disrespect to the father of my children, I'll always have that love for him, but he didn't know how to cope with me or didn't know how to do that, and not everybody does, but because the man that I'm with now really knows how to do that, it makes me happy.'

EastEnders' Ross takes action to cover up Joel's crimes as he makes discovery
EastEnders' Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) takes shocking action to cover up his twisted son Joel Marshall's (Max Murray) latest crimes next week after he makes a shocking discovery. Since arriving in Walford with Ross and his dad's partner Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) earlier this year, Joel has been at the centre of a dark incel plot. After it was revealed he had previously upskirted one of his classmates back in Australia, Joel recorded himself and Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) having sex without her consent. Since then, the teenager has sexually harassed a passenger on the tube and has also been seen watching videos from a misogynistic influencer online. In scenes to air on the BBC soap next week, Joel's behaviour continues to worsen after Ross has to tell him the news that his mum is getting remarried. Reeling from the update, Joel slips out and heads to The Vic to hang out with his friend Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall), but it's not long before Joel leads him astray and the pair steal drinks from the barrel store. Ross and Vicki, and Kat and Alfie Moon (Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie) are furious when they find the pair, but Joel lashes out with a derogatory outburst at Kat, leaving the parents aghast. Ross later makes another attempt to get through to Joel about his behaviour, and they bond when Joel shares a video from the influencer that he's been following, which Ross wrongly perceives as innocent. Shortly afterwards, however, Ross makes a worrying discovery on Joel's laptop and destroys it. What has Ross uncovered? Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Vicki is later stunned to discover the real reason why Ross broke the laptop and orders her partner to be firm with Joel – despite Vicki herself having covered for him by bribing the woman he assaulted on the tube into not going to the police. More Trending While Ross is heartened after confiding in Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) about his parenting woes, his hopefulness is short-lived when Joel shows his true colours once again, this time in front of punters at The Vic. Joel goes there to apologise to Kat about his previous outburst, but when he overhears Vicki chatting with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) about parenting and men, he is riled – and his anger sparks some worrying consequences… View More » EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 4 August at 7.30pm on BBC One or stream first from 6am on iPlayer.
