SAN JOSE, Calif. - A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a traffic collision in San Jose on Thursday morning.
The San Jose Police Department was called just after 6:45 a.m. to the area of Senter Road and Sylvandale Avenue on reports of the crash and found a silver Harley Davidson motorcycle and its rider down at the scene.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of his next of kin, and the SJPD identified him only as an adult man.
A preliminary investigation into the crash revealed that a Chevrolet Camaro was driving east on Buckeye Drive through Senter Road into the designated right turn lane to Sylvandale Avenue when the Camaro was struck on its broadside by the motorcycle, which was traveling north on Senter Road.
The driver of the Camaro remained at the scene and cooperated with an investigation into the crash.
The crash marks San Jose's 10th fatal traffic collision and 10th traffic death of 2025, according to the SJPD.

Kaczynski also published photos of Trump and two of his children alongside Epstein at the opening of the Harley Davidson Café in New York taken by photographer Dafydd Jones in 1993. "The new footage and photos, which have not been widely reported and pre-date any of Epstein's known legal issues, come amid renewed scrutiny of Trump's past relationship with Epstein," Kaczynski reported, elsewhere noting that the images were found on Google Images and Shutterstock, a major online licensed image provider. A 2002 New York Magazine Epstein profile piece reported Trump saying, "I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with." Trump in 2019 described having a "falling out" with Epstein 15 years prior, noting they stopped talking around that time. Epstein was arrested and charged with sexually abusing underage girls in 2006 and arrested again on federal sex trafficking charges in 2019. Trump has tried to dissuade public interest in the so-called "Epstein files" in recent weeks, calling it a waste of time and "hoax." Epstein committed suicide in his jail cell in 2019, according to officials. Police: 4 dead in a San Antonio crash involving a bus and a stolen vehicle
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A speeding stolen car smashed into a bus on an interstate in San Antonio on Thursday, causing a multi-vehicle crash that left four people dead and more than a dozen injured, police said. Police said two people traveling on the bus were pronounced dead at the scene on Interstate 35 and another two were declared dead in a hospital. Fire officials said they took 21 people to hospitals. Several people fled the stolen Camaro without stopping to help, including at least one who was armed, police said. Police Chief William McManus said children and older people were among the injured. The Camaro struck a trailer attached to the bus, causing the bus driver to lose control of the vehicle, which then bounced into a guardrail. A tractor-trailer then smashed into the bus, which rolled onto its side. Several people were ejected from the bus, police said. Police said the people who fled the Camaro have not been located or identified.
