Male leg hair removal product goes viral for all the wrong reasons

Focus Malaysia4 days ago

THE Internet is host to some of the weirdest things human civilisation could cook up. And lately, a strange hair product has been making rounds across the cyberspace, proving once again that where innovation is concerned, the sky is the limit.
In a recent video, a man could be seen removing his leg hair easily just by rubbing a white chemical solution on his skin. People can only wonder how exceedingly toxic the substance is.

However, there is a societal stigma for males who decide to remove their leg hair and the Internet community was more than happy to point it out.
'Isn't it forbidden for guys to remove their leg hair?' @_fikrihayati_ wondered.
The tone of the conversation in the comment section was anything but serious with @roku7533 sarcastically saying that users should not drink water five hours before applying the solution for maximum effect.
'Too much water consumption and it will cause the pores of thigh hair to expand,' he said.
Adding to the comedy was a netizen who inquired if the product could be used before or after a meal.
'Everyone is talking about removing the male leg hair. What I really want to know is if we could use it to remove the hair on our private part,' said @AzaharulAzwan.
Towards this question, netizen @mhmmdhsm who brought the video to light said it could be used for the whole body. He further added in another comment that the product should not be reapplied after 24 hours.
A serious user further asked if the product was painful. 'I tried two to three products. The ones that are not painful do not remove the hair,' he said.
Away from the jokes, how does the chemical within this product actually remove the hair?
The answer lies in the chemical depilatories within the solution. Depilatories work by breaking down the keratin structure of the hair by inducing chemical reactions.
Keratin is a structural protein that gives the hair its strength and is stabilized by disulphide bonds. All depilatories function by disrupting the disulphide bonds which then destabilizes keratin. This weakens the hair so it can then be easily wiped off the surface of the skin. —June 25, 2025

Viral lady considers Nasi Kangkang to win back cheating husband

STORIES of broken hearts and betrayal are older than the oldest soap opera. Regardless, it is a timeless problem that requires deliberation since it is oftentimes a complex one. But could people take the easy way out? Then again, is there ever an easy way out to such a problem? Tell that to a heartbroken lady who recently complained on the Internet that her husband has been 'eating outside' of the house. According to her, her husband had a new office mate and it appears their relationship had blossomed into something more than colleagues. The solution? She wanted to make Nasi Kangkang for her husband to win him back again. For those not in the know, Nasi Kangkang is made when a lady squats on a rice pot. Heat from the pot makes her sweat, which drips into the rice. Among the Malay community, this was the equivalent to black magic, which makes the husband subservient to the wife. Listening to her plight, the Internet community decided to provide their 'professional' advice to aid her in her problem. We can already expect where this is going. According to netizen @musang1200, it was enough that she read the seventh word of surah Yusof. Another netizen said she should have just asked for a divorce. 'There is no need to get back the people who rejected us,' said @NaimFathullah who was clearly uninterested in such faithless males. 'The women of the current age are frightening. All of them are into black magic,' added @anabismatli. Also, @Ferdz7878 pointed out that Nasi Kangkang was not the solution to the problem. Apparently, the man becomes stupid after consuming it, and it would not be a real family environment. 'Instead of Nasi Kangkang, it is better to open your legs while looking pretty in front of your husband. He will return to you' said a 'marriage expert,' although the statement was obviously satire. Perhaps the winning comment went to @Tesstisss who said the Nasi Kangkang was most effective when she was having her period. Either that or boiling her underwear in the chicken soup for his consumption. Apparently the internet is never deficient in creativity. @blokchainfarm further added that she could have just given him rice laced with poison. Supposedly revenge is best served cold. But why go to such length to win back a cheating man when she could just turn her black magic on a rich Datuk? And that was exactly what @HIdnal suggested, adding that she could just be content being the second or third wife. With the many advise given by our dear netizens, we suppose the troubled lady would have some idea on how to get even with her cheating husband. Meanwhile, one can only wonder how a plate of Nasi Kangkang would taste like. —June 29, 2025 Main image: @detikseram (X)

Feathered bandit caw-ed stealing man's parcel

Compiled by GERARD GIMINO, C. ARUNO and R. ARAVINTHAN A MAN frustrated over his stolen parcel checked his surveillance camera and was shocked to discover that the thief was a crow, reported Sin Chew Daily . A closed-circuit television recording shared on social media showed a crow perched on the front gate of his house before edging closer, picking up the parcel and flying off. The video went viral with Internet users expressing disbelief. Many said if it had not been caught on camera, the owner might have suspected a neighbour or thought the parcel had not been delivered. Some joked that not only do people have to worry about thieves, they now also have to watch out for feathered bandits. > China Press reported that Hong Kong veteran actor Bowie Wu Fung regretted hiding his marriage in his younger days and focusing solely on his career, saying that his relationship with his children was deeply affected. 'I hardly met and spent time with them during their childhood, when I reached home after work, they had gone to bed. It is such a huge loss to me,' he said. In an interview, the 93-year-old said he married his first love Lui Wing Ho in 1957 but kept it a secret to retain his appeal to female fans.
