'It was such an honour to finish my career with the club and, although it's only been just over a year since I left Glasgow, I really can't wait to come back and play in front of the fans again.
'It'll be brilliant to see some familiar faces and it promises to be a great occasion.
'I was always so impressed by the work of the foundation during my time at Celtic and it's going to be fantastic to play a part in hopefully raising plenty of money through this match.'
Rogic, 32 and now retired from playing, said: 'It's really exciting to be coming back for the Legends match against Manchester United.
'My time with Celtic was such a huge part of my career and there were so many amazing memories, so to come back and pull on the Hoops again will be a very special moment.
'There was always such a big focus from the club on helping others and the work that the foundation do is phenomenal, so it's a privilege to be involved and I'm sure the supporters will come out in their numbers as they always do.'

Celtic 'set' exact Nicolas Kuhn transfer price for RB Leipzig as Como talks 'continue' despite major caveat
The German is in demand this summer after returning some impressive numbers for the Scottish champions last term Celtic have reportedly told RB Leipzig the asking price for Nicolas Kuhn amid escalating interest in the winger. The German star has Newcastle United and Como among his suitors this summer after a campaign that returned an impressive 21 goals and 15 assists. The 25-year-old turned in notable performances in the Champions League as the Hoops claimed a domestic double. However, Der Westen claim that the valuation could surge beyond that with the Hoops' set to have told suitors bidding starts at £14.9million - with the Scottish Premiership champions hoping to land "more than" £17million for the wide man. Record Sport understands there has been no official bid tabled for the attacker despite Leipzig 's appointment of Ole Werner as their new permanent boss - a decision that was believed to be holding up the Bundesliga side's transfer dealings. But Celtic 's hopes of starting a bidding war with Como's interest in a deal cooling. Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio stated last week that the Serie A side had launched "serious" talks over a deal for the Celtic star. He claims that while negotiations are continuing between the two clubs, AZ Alkmaar's Jayden Adda is "gaining ground" of the 25-year-old and could emerge as the preferred target. It comes as "there is still no agreement between the clubs on the figures of the deal". It comes after Parkhead legend Paul Lambert warned Kuhn over a departure, exclusively telling Record Sport: "As a Celtic player, you have to be consistent. You need to hit eight out of 10s every week, more or less. "And when you don't do it, then you'll probably hear it from the supporters. "He was brilliant in the first half of the season, but the season doesn't last half a year. It's a year, so you've got to perform consistently. "You can't turn around and say, 'I'm only going to play half a year.' If that were the case, then everybody would still be playing. "Nobody can dispute that he was really good in the first half of the season - but do it for the full year." Brendan Rodgers turns Robbie Savage consultant as Celtic boss advice before taking Forest Green Rovers job revealed
The ex Premier League star is the new boss of the ambitious National League side Robbie Savage has revealed he sounded out Brendan Rodgers and Martin O'Neill before accepting the job at Forest Green Rovers. The former Wales international has taken charge of the National League side after four years with Macclesfield Town. After serving as a board member with the English minnows, Savage was appointed as manager last year and led the club to the Northern Premier League title last season to take them up to the sixth tier. But the confident Welshman has now stepped up a division to take up the reins at Forest Green, who missed out on promotion back to the EFL last month with a defeat to Southend United in the play-off semi final. And the 50-year-old says he consulted the two Celtic heroes before saying yes to the ambitious Gloucestershire, having enjoyed success as a player under O'Neill at Leicester City, where the Foxes won the League Cup back in 2000. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "Fortunately for me I have worked with some unbelievable people. "I spoke to Martin O'Neill yesterday who is more than willing to come down, sit with me and have a coffee. "I've spoke to Brendan Rodgers and Sean Dyche, real football people. As soon as this opportunity came about they said 'it's an unbelievable opportunity for you. "As a manager I have tried to take little snippets from each one but I think I am a good motivator, a good man-manager and I believe I know how to get the best out of a collective and more importantly an individual. "I have been in their shoes numerous times and have suffered disappointments and experienced highs and lows. "If I can take little things from everybody, I think we'll do well." Savage's relationship with Brendan Rodgers is perhaps a result of his backing for the Irishman during his sticky patch in charge of Leicester. Rodgers faced calls for the sack in some quarters following a heavy 4-1 FA Cup defeat to then Championship side Nottingham Forest in February 2022, having won the competition the year before. Leicester had failed to get past the group stages of the Europa League that season but manage to reach the last four of the Conference League after dropping into the third tier competition. But following the loss to Forest, Savage came out in defence of the ex Liverpool boss, branding calls for him to get the boot as 'nonsense'. He told BT Sport: It's absolute nonsense, isn't it? Two fifth placed finishes, an FA Cup victory, rebuilding squads, the recruitment - surely he has credit in the bank for what he has achieved at Leicester. "It's one of the best Premier League appointments in recent years, one of them, for what he's done with that side. "He needs his best players on the pitch on a regular basis to compete. To compete for Champions League, Leicester City - they were in League One not so long ago. He's done amazing." Rodgers' ultimately left the Foxes by mutual consent in April 2023 shortly before their relegation from the Premier League, sealing his return to Celtic two and a half months later.

Rodgers on excitement of new Celtic signings this season
After a productive summer break, Rodgers is now focused on preparing his squad both physically and mentally for the upcoming challenges. Rodgers told the club media: "I ate well, drank well, exercised, and spent time with family. "But obviously, happy to be back again and getting ready." The return to Lennoxtown invigorates him: "When you drive up the hill and you smell the grass again, then it excites you for the season ahead." A high tempo is crucial this summer, especially for key players involved in international duties. Rodgers said: "We have to manage that, of course, so that they get enough rest and recovery. "Every player's program is adapted to ensure that they get enough rest, but also to bring them back and get them up to speed physically." The importance of this pre-season is amplified by the looming two-legged Champions League play-off, the first time Celtic have had to qualify for the tournament proper since 2021. Rodgers said: "Pre-season always is a tense, difficult period when you're one of the big clubs, because they are never pre-season friendlies, I always call them tests. "But then you add into that the qualification for the Champions League, you're trying to get to the end point that little bit quicker." The return of Kieran Tierney after his spell at Arsenal is one of the summer's standout moves. Rodgers believes it's a move as much about identity and culture as it is about footballing quality. He said: "The players that have come through the system here are so important. "The affinity they have with the club, they understand the values of Celtic. "For me, they should always be at the heart of the club." Rodgers is also keen to see the impact of new signings, Swedish forward Benjamin Nygren and 19-year-old striker Callum Osmand from Fulham's academy. He said: "Benjamin's a guy who has really developed from being a really talented young player. "He's got real good physicality as well. "So I'm really looking forward to seeing him adapt to how we play." On Osmand, he said: "He wants to be part of a first-team setup where he can come and grow and develop. "He's got bags of pace, scores goals, and was really coveted by a number of teams. "We're delighted to get Callum up here. "We see him as a really exciting young talent." Rodgers also paid tribute to Scott Bain and Greg Taylor, who have moved on. He said of Bain: "Bainy maybe didn't play the number of games as a goalkeeper that he maybe would have liked. "But he was always very loyal and always very supportive of the goalkeepers that were in front of him." On Taylor, whose move to Greek side PAOK was confirmed on Tuesday, he said: "I've made it clear all the way along I'd love to have kept Greg. "He was a brilliant servant, a brilliant player for the club, but also a really good guy off the pitch." Rodgers confirmed that more signings are likely before the season begins. He said: "We're not needing a major overhaul of the squad, but freshness is so important. "We've done some really good business up until now. "I see us doing more, and to get us set up for what will hopefully be a really exciting season."
