Celtic 'set' exact Nicolas Kuhn transfer price for RB Leipzig as Como talks 'continue' despite major caveat
Celtic have reportedly told RB Leipzig the asking price for Nicolas Kuhn amid escalating interest in the winger.
The German star has Newcastle United and Como among his suitors this summer after a campaign that returned an impressive 21 goals and 15 assists.
The 25-year-old turned in notable performances in the Champions League as the Hoops claimed a domestic double.
However, Der Westen claim that the valuation could surge beyond that with the Hoops' set to have told suitors bidding starts at £14.9million - with the Scottish Premiership champions hoping to land "more than" £17million for the wide man.
Record Sport understands there has been no official bid tabled for the attacker despite Leipzig 's appointment of Ole Werner as their new permanent boss - a decision that was believed to be holding up the Bundesliga side's transfer dealings.
But Celtic 's hopes of starting a bidding war with Como's interest in a deal cooling. Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio stated last week that the Serie A side had launched "serious" talks over a deal for the Celtic star.
He claims that while negotiations are continuing between the two clubs, AZ Alkmaar's Jayden Adda is "gaining ground" of the 25-year-old and could emerge as the preferred target.
It comes as "there is still no agreement between the clubs on the figures of the deal".
It comes after Parkhead legend Paul Lambert warned Kuhn over a departure, exclusively telling Record Sport: "As a Celtic player, you have to be consistent. You need to hit eight out of 10s every week, more or less.
"And when you don't do it, then you'll probably hear it from the supporters.
"He was brilliant in the first half of the season, but the season doesn't last half a year. It's a year, so you've got to perform consistently.
"You can't turn around and say, 'I'm only going to play half a year.' If that were the case, then everybody would still be playing.
"Nobody can dispute that he was really good in the first half of the season - but do it for the full year."

Final defeat will 'fuel fire' for more Celtic success
Captain Callum McGregor will use May's painful Scottish Cup final defeat to "fuel the fire" for more success with former Scotland midfielder endured what he described as "the worst moment I've ever had in football" after his penalty was saved by Aberdeen keeper Dimitar Mitov in a surprise shootout defeat to the than five weeks on from his Hampden agony, McGregor is revitalised, refocused and "hungry" to lead Celtic towards more silverware."It was a tough moment, there's no shying away from that," the 32-year-old said. "I think what that does is it gives you more motivation to go and achieve even more."It's the ones you don't win that stay with you and fuel the fire for you, so I had a couple of weeks off to digest it and try and find a positive somewhere in it."I've been here a long time, there's highs, there's lows and you have to try and find an even keel and keep yourself in a nice balanced headspace."There's been ups and downs throughout my career and I've always managed to bounce back, so I don't see this being any different."

But the Swedish cap failed to establish himself and was sent out on loan to FC Twente last season. Lagerbielke looked likely to stay in the Netherlands but the Eredivise outfit opted against signing him. That opened the door for Braga and he is set to make a permanent move in the coming days. Lagerbielke joined Celtic for pre-season this week but his Parkhead career is now set to come to an end. In total, the Swede made just ten appearances for the Hoops and scored one goal - against Feyenoord in the Champions League. Historic Scottish football club dramatically WITHDRAW from league weeks before new season amid stadium issues
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A HISTORIC Scottish football club have dramatically WITHDRAWN from competing in their league next season. They've made the huge call after a row over their home stadium. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 The club have withdrawn from the East of Scotland League Credit: SNS Peebles Rovers have been on the go for more than 130 years having been formed in 1888. Previously members of the SFL, they've spent almost the past 100 years in the East of Scotland Football League, winning the league title six times and the First Division three times. They were due to be competing in the EoSFL Second Division this coming season but have now pulled out just weeks ahead of the new season getting underway. The dramatic decision comes after their home stadium was no longer deemed compliant going forward. They've been playing at Whitestone Park since the early part of the 1900s but it now longer meets the criteria needed for clubs in the EoSFL. The more stringent criteria means Peebles' ground fell foul of rules surrounding the changing facilities and fencing. The situation meant the club faced being booted out of the league. They explored a number of options, including developing the ground, moving elsewhere or ground-sharing with the local rugby club. But none of those materialised. Now, in a statement, the club have confirmed they've withdrawn from the Est of Scotland League. Birmingham give update on new £3billion stadium as they announce major development They have, however, assured supporters that the club is NOT folding - and they intend to mount a comeback as soon as they possibly can. The Peebles Rovers statement read: "It is with great regret that we have to announce that we have withdrawn from competing in the 2025/26 EoSFL season and its associated cup competitions. "This is not a decision that has been taken lightly. "We apologise to the league for the lateness in our communication, but we wanted to ensure that there was no other option before we came to this decision. "Sadly, the lack of progress towards a compliant ground together with the threat of relegation due to having insufficient facilities made it impossible for us to assemble a management team and playing squad to tackle the long season ahead. "Peebles Rovers has NOT folded, we will continue to pay our association fees and very much hope we receive the support we have been promised over the years to come back stronger in the shortest possible time. "At this point, we would like to acknowledge all of our sponsors who have been behind us along the way and to ensure our kit sponsors that we will once again have their logos displayed on playing and training kit when we return. "Finally, for now, thanks to everyone that has supported the club on and off the field and please, if you can lend a hand to get us back on our feet, then we would be delighted to hear from you." The East of Scotland League Second Division will proceed with 15 teams next season instead of the planned 16. Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
