Usyk, 38, was preparing to fight Anthony Joshua for the first time and was using a fitness centre owned by one of Chisora's friends.
And he stunned Chisora after revealing he had been swimming non-stop lengths for hours on end.
Chisora, 41, said on SunSport's No Glove Lost show in association with 32Red: "This is why Usyk's so good, because he trains hard.
"You know, I bumped into him the first AJ fight. Walked in there, my guy who owns the place says, 'Usyk's up there.'

He said: 'Daniel has to walk into Wembley Stadium and just become a demon. And just go with that. Don't even doubt yourself, just go with it.

Incredible slow-motion footage of Usyk KOing Dubois emerges with Brit's gumshield flying out after ‘careless' mistake
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) INCREDIBLE slow-motion footage has emerged of Oleksandr Usyk punching Daniel Dubois' gumshield from out of his mouth. Usyk floored Dubois in round five with a counter right hook before a chopping left hand closed the show just seconds later. 3 Oleksandr Usyk's stunning KO of Daniel Dubois, Credit: DAZN 3 He punched his gumshield out Credit: DAZN DAZN pay-per-view footage revealed the moment Dubois' gumshield flew out of his mouth as a result of the brutal KO shot. Usyk, 38, became undisputed champion for the THIRD time across cruiserweight and heavyweight. For Dubois, 27, he will now be forced to bounce back after losing his IBF world title. And promoter Frank Warren pointed to Dubois dropping his hands - out of exhaustion - as the biggest mistake he made in the bout. READ MORE IN BOXING QUEEN LEER Jake Paul's fiancee Jutta Leerdam steals show as she arrives for Usyk vs Dubois Warren said: "That is what Daniel needs to learn from this fight, to try and learn and develop the mental attitude that Usyk has. "Daniel didn't stick to the task, he got careless, he dropped his hands and paid the price." Warren revealed the WBO are likely to mandate Joseph Parker, 33, as Usyk's next challenger. Meanwhile Dubois will build back after suffering his second loss to Usyk and the third of his career. Usyk vs Dubois round by round as brutal knockout cements Ukrainian's place in history OLEKSANDR USYK cemented his name in the list of all-time boxing greats as he became a three-time undisputed champion with a fifth round knockout win over Daniel Dubois. Usyk dropped Dubois multiple times as he put any doubts about his first win over the Brit to bed by cementing the repeat and avoiding the revenge. Here, SunSport's Jack Figg gives his round-by-round verdict... ROUND ONE Usyk looks light on his toes, swaying side to side, Dubois plants his feet and walks forward. Stiff jab from Usyk appears to almost wake Dubois up and the Brit responds with a one-two. Usyk searches to the body with a left, blocks a right hand from Dubois and ends the round with a menacing combo. Usyk 10 Dubois 9 ROUND TWO Dubois lunges in with a right hand, Usyk expertly takes half a step back and responds with a counter left. Another right misses from Dubois and he takes a left cross which has him on shaky legs. Already Usyk is finding his rhythm, making Dubois miss and certainly making him pay. Usyk 10 Dubois 9 (Usyk 20 Dubois 18) ROUND THREE Usyk staggers back after a right hand from Dubois - maybe more off balance than hurt. Dubois charges forward with a left hook, right hand but Usyk covers up well. Huge left hook lands on the button from Usyk, sweat sprays off Dubois face. Usyk 10 Dubois 9 (Usyk 30 Dubois 27) ROUND FOUR Right uppercut lands on Usyk's belt-line in a genuine case of dejavu from low-blow gate in their first fight. Dubois traps Usyk in the corner, lands a right but the Ukrainian legend slips off before any troubling damage can be done. Left hand lands for Usyk but Dubois grabs on and closes the distance, smart defence to cap off his best round so far. Usyk 9 Dubois 10 (Usyk 39 Dubois 37) ROUND FIVE Right hook followed by a left hand lands for Usyk has Dubois teetering backwards. Dubois comes forward, charging at Usyk and the two trade off in the corner but DOWN GOES DUBOIS after a counter right hook. He makes it to his feet but is dropped with another left hook and the fight is over! Dubois fails to beat the count and Usyk is once again undisputed heavyweight world champion. Usyk wins by KO CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS Warren added: "For Daniel now, he'll have a little break, think about things and he has got to resurrect himself. "There are lots of fighters over the years who have been beaten and come back even stronger. That is what he has to do. SunSport reporter Wally Downes Jr gives his verdict on Oleksandr Usyk's stunning KO rematch win vs Daniel Dubois "He can punch, he can hurt you and it's just developing other aspects of his game. He's got to come back and make a statement." Warren also said: "He has got to learn from it. He is only 27. "I look at Frank Bruno for example, three times he fought for a world title and he got it on the fourth attempt. "Daniel has won a world title so hopefully he will come back, but the bottom line is it was Usyk's night and he is a special, special boxer."

Tyson Fury comeback plan in jeopardy thanks to Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua
Fury recently confirmed his return to the ring, but he could be without an opponent if YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul gets his wish Tyson Fury could be left stuck in the mud regarding his boxing comeback as Jake Paul sets his sights on disrupting the Gypsy King's plans. The boxing community were left stunned earlier this month after the 'Gypsy King' announced his decision to make a return to boxing - despite retiring from the sport in January after losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk. . The British heavyweight has his eyes set on a third bout with Usyk next April at Wembley and has not ruled out a dust-up with Anthony Joshua either. However, the 36-year-old could find himself without a dance partner if Paul has his way. The 28-year-old YouTube star turned boxer has been vocal about wanting to take on Joshua, a two-time world champion. Speaking to DAZN before Usyk's scrap with Daniel Dubois, where he was in attendance, Paul dropped a bombshell confirming his fight with Joshua is in the works for next year. "Yeah 100 per cent it's going to happen. We're going to do the unthinkable and create one of the biggest fights in the history of boxing," he boasted. "It's not even about it being realistic or not, it's gonna happen so fasten your seatbelts. And when I knock him out I'll go down in the history books forever," reports All Out Fighting. Even Eddie Hearn, who initially had reservations, concedes that a clash between Paul and Joshua might just materialise, especially after Paul agreed to a mere one per cent of the fight purse. "Don't ask me how. Don't ask me why," Hearn remarked. "But if people want Anthony Joshua to obliterate Jake Paul in one night, maybe we make it happen." He added: "You know, obviously it'll be up to AJ and myself what AJ does, and [Most Valuable Promotions CEO] Nakisa [Bidarian] and Jake, what they do – but also the power of Turki Alalshikh bringing it together, making it a mega-event. We're up for it. You know, it's not a fight we targeted. It's not a fight we anticipated. But as I said, if it's there and it's open and it's a running-up fight before Tyson Fury, why not?"It probably breaks the internet. It breaks the platform. It probably delivers the biggest numbers of any fight we've ever seen, and that's the crazy world we live in. For me, I don't expect it to be competitive, but do you want to see Jake Paul flattened? There you go. It's on a plate right in front of you." As Joshua and Paul gear up for a possible showdown, all eyes are on what Fury might do next. Despite being keen on a third fight with Usyk, the WBO seems to have other ideas, hinting at ordering Usyk to defend his titles against Joseph Parker instead. Frank Warren, speaking after Saturday night's clash between the Ukrainian and Dubois, was clear about his preference for Usyk's next opponent: "His [Usyk's] first defence of his title is the WBO belt and that will be against Joe Parker. So that again would be a great fight. "I mean I would like to see the Joe Parker fight. Joe deserves it. He's on a run himself, same as Daniel was on, and that's the fight that's been ordered. So one way or another it will happen, or Joe will fight for the vacant title. Tyson has made it very clear to me; he'd love that [Usyk] fight, he would love to do that fight and it'd be a big fight." When is Tyson Fury's next fight? After confirming his comeback to the squared circle, British heavyweight star Fury announced his third clash with Usyk is scheduled for 18 April 2026 at Wembley Stadium. The 36 year old posted a promotional image on Instagram showing himself alongside the Ukrainian champion, writing: "April 18, 2026 Wembley Stadium. The trilogy! UK. contact @spencerbrownmrgoldstar for tickets." Having completed 24 rounds against the Ukrainian boxer, the 'Gypsy King' maintains he secured victory in their December rematch. "My last fight was a clear f****** victory for The Gypsy King. Anybody in boxing can see that. A complete load of dogs ***," he declared. "I want a fair fight, I don't want any favours, I want a fair fight and a fair result. Which I know I didn't [get]. I thought I won it by five rounds. I watched it 250 times. Each way I never see it as a way for him to win. They can do what they want. If they say it's Tuesday it's Tuesday."

Jockey who fled country after ‘practically jumping off' horse hit with massive 18-month ban and fine

Footage of Brazilian rider Lemos 'Lai Lai' De Souza's spill from favourite Pacific Power gained worldwide notoriety. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 Jockey Lemos De Souza broke from favourite Pacific Power in stall one 4 But he immediately became unbalanced 4 After a matter of seconds the jockey had been dislodged 4 He ended up in a crumpled heap on the floor as the horse ran on riderless Pacific Power was favourite for a race at Selangor racecourse in Malaysia but drifted just before the off. De Souza was seen appearing to bounce in the saddle before theatrically falling off the horse seconds after the gates opened. Commentator Devon Pretorius said at the time: "He practically jumped off the horse." Stewards attempted to open an urgent investigation into the incident, which occurred earlier this month. But matters were complicated after it emerged De Souza had fled the country for Singapore so he could receive medical treatment. The jockey was said to have returned a few days later - giving stewards the chance to probe him. And, following the completion of the investigation, they decided to ban De Souza for 18 months and hand him a £7,500 fine. In another blow, the jockey is not allowed to reapply for his licence until a further 12 months after his ban ends. De Souza, who had pleaded not guilty, was deemed to have 'failed to ride his horse to the satisfaction of the stewards'. He could have been disqualified for life but stewards took into account his previous good record. Footage of De Souza's fall was viewed hundreds of thousands of times online. And many agreed with Pretorious' description of the incident. He said: "A look at the replay here… Pacific Power jumps and Lai Lai - I'm not too sure if the saddle slipped. "Then he pretty much knew his fate about ten metres out of the starting stalls and then practically jumped off the horse as he knew he wasn't going to get his foot back in his irons on his right side." This is the second such incident to rock racing in recent months. An investigation is still ongoing into Irish jockey Philip Byrnes' dramatic fall from Redwood Queen at Wexford in May. While fellow jockey Alvinio Roy was banned for five years after this incident in Mauritius last year.
