Caitlin Clark Makes WNBA History on Tuesday
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are back in action on Tuesday night in a home matchup against the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year is looking to keep her foot on the gas after her incredible 32-point explosion in their win against the New York Liberty on Saturday.

Clark did just that in the opening half of Tuesday's game, finishing with 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting, one rebound, five assists, two steals and three triples in 18 minutes of action in the first half.
The former Iowa superstar made WNBA history yet again with her fourth assist of the evening. Clark entered Tuesday's game with 108 points and 46 assists. By surpassing the 50-assist mark in the opening half of the Sun game, the 23-year-old marked another historic milestone in just her sixth appearance this season.
According to Polymarket Hoops on X, Clark has set a new record for the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 100 points and 50 assists in a season.

Clark beat her own record, which she set in her rookie campaign last year. She needed eight games to reach 100 points and 50 assists last season, and the fact that Clark did it in just six games this season speaks volumes about how she has elevated her game in Year 2.

It is also worth noting that Clark is coming off a five-game injury layoff. She was forced to sit out a significant amount of time due to a lingering quad injury, but it is clear that she is now making up for lost time.

He'll at least have some memories from the tournament though.
