He's aiming to become a scratch golfer
Former Celtic, Aberdeen and Dundee United star Charlie Mulgrew has had a rollercoaster year to date so far.
From taking over as manager of Kelty Hearts back in January to leaving the club in April - Mulgrew is now beginning yet another chapter of his sporting career.
But he's no longer trying to make it in the whirlwind business of football management.
Instead, the 39-year-old has followed in the footsteps of his Open Goal pals by entering the digital world in an exciting new career.
He hasn't launched his own podcast, though, as he's deviated away from the sport he played professionally for over 20 years.
Mulgrew is now a YouTuber after launching his own golf channel Mulgrew Pitch To Par.
The 44-cap Scotland international has been teasing the channel for a number of weeks on his new Instagram page with the same name.
But last night he made it official by posting his first video with his old Blackburn team-mate Bradley Dack.
Mulgrew and Dack took on a nine-hole scramble at Lenzie golf club and shared stories from their careers in football while they walked around the course.
The Scot revealed at the start of the video that he plays off a handicap of 14.8 and he revealed last month he's hoping to become a scratch golfer while conducting his various interviews.
Celtic legend came out of retirement to play in England's 11th tier - but left the stadium without boxers or socks
In his first Instagram post for the page, he wrote: "Attempting to get my handicap from 15 to scratch while having a laugh and chatting to ex team mates and managers plus people within the sports industry.
"Need some serious help with my golf game so if there advice out there I'm all ears."
He's already teased another former Scotland star as one of his next guests.
Ex-Hamilton Accies, Wigan Athletic and Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur is going to appear in the channel too as Mulgrew posted a short clip of them both during a round.

Another Strictly star has phone stolen in London as it travels across the globe

A third Strictly Come Dancing star had their phone stolen while out in central London. In a post shared online, they revealed their phone ended up across the globe Yet another Strictly Come Dancing star was robbed in London as they revealed where their phone ended up. Earlier this month, both Annabel Croft and Michelle Tsiakkas revealed to fans their phones were stolen while out in the city as they issued warnings to their Instagram followers. Michelle, 29, told fans having her phone stolen was 'traumatising' and said she felt 'awful, scared and helpless' when it happened. She explained that she was simply going about her day when a criminal whizzed past her on an electric bike and snatched her phone straight from her hand. ‌ The star said it was early morning when she was on her way to the dentist around Covent Garden. Annabel Croft was also a victim of phone theft and recently recalled the terrifying moment she was mugged in broad daylight in the middle of London. ‌ The brave star being the target of a criminal has prompted her to speak out to make sure others don't suffer the same issue. Annabel, who competed in the 2023 series alongside Johannes Radebe, said she was waiting for a taxi when the incident occurred. Speaking on Instagram, Annabel detailed the moment and thanked those who rushed to her aid. "I just wanted to warn people who are on their own in London. I just got mugged waiting for a taxi outside King's Cross St Pancras," she wrote. "The man was riding a bike and wearing a black balaclava. He rode straight at me and took my phone clean out of my hands. He rode away with it but luckily dropped my phone so I got it back. Terrifying! " Annabel added. She added: "On a positive note, there are some lovely people out there. Luckily a lovely gentleman witnessed it and came over to help me. Thank you to whoever you are." The new Strictly curse didn't stop with Annabel as Seann Walsh recently revealed his phone was stolen in a post shared on his Instagram Stories. ‌ Along with a screenshot from the Find My app, which showed his phone in Guangdong, China, he said: "My phone was stolen (yes, out of my hand and yes, I live in Lond) a week or so ago and it is now in China if anyone happens to be passing by." One person urged the comedian to write a book called "It could only happen to me" and he responded: "If there are any publishers following me, I am open to this but it will be a very long book. I'm calling it Typical." ‌ Unsettled Londoners have been left in disbelief as mobile phone theft has increased at a horrifying rate. New statistics release this month revealed that 231,000 phone thefts and robberies were recorded over the past four years in the city. Analysis by The Times revealed hotspots in London include St James's Park, where Piccadilly and Haymarket meet Pall Mall and Clarence House as well as parts of the West End. Figures released by Scotland Yard figures show a 20 per cent year-on-year increase in robberies - with 81,256 mobile phone crimes were recorded in 2023. The stats also showed that roughly 37 people have their phone snatched on the streets of the capital every day.

17 players leaving Arsenal as Mikel Arteta's summer rebuild takes shape

Arsenal are set to release 17 players on Monday as their contracts expire, with a number of high profile first-team squad members to leave the club A host of Arsenal players will bid farewell to the club on Monday. In total, 17 players will be saying their goodbyes to the Emirates Stadium due to their contracts expiring on June 30. The list of departing stars includes several high-profile first-team squad members, as well as promising young talents yet to make their mark on the game. Among those set to depart is Thomas Partey. The Ghanaian international was a regular fixture in the first team during the 2024/25 season and Mikel Arteta had expressed his desire for the midfielder to stay. ‌ However, no agreement has been reached over an extension and Partey is now poised to leave the club as a free agent. The former Atletico Madrid player has not yet officially posted a goodbye message to fans, and the club has not confirmed his departure, leaving a slim chance that an extension could be announced this week. ‌ As it stands, however, Partey will not be playing his football at the Emirates next season. One senior star who is definitely leaving is Kieran Tierney. The left-back quickly endeared himself to fans after joining from Celtic in August 2019 and went on to make 144 appearances for the club, even scoring in his last appearance against Southampton on the final day of last season. "It'll be hard but it's a happy goodbye," said a sentimental Tierney as he prepares to rejoin Celtic on July 1, reflecting fondly in his farewell interview. "I've loved it here, loved every minute of it. There are countless memories that are amazing for me; your debut is always special, and winning the FA Cup as well in the first season. It's a great team, and I'm so close to some of the boys in there. I've been here a long time, so it'll be sad but a happy goodbye." Arsenal 's loan signings Raheem Sterling and Neto wave goodbye, as they head back to Chelsea and Bournemouth respectively after a season at Emirates. Sterling found the net just once during his 28 appearances for Arsenal, whereas backup keeper Neto only appeared four times behind David Raya. Despite the buzz surrounding Nathan Butler-Oyedeji following his debuts in the Champions League and Premier League, the promising forward is set to leave Arsenal with speculation linking him with clubs around Europe. The 22 year old's future lies away from north London after limited opportunities this past season. Penning a heartfelt farewell on Instagram, the player expressed: "Dear Arsenal fans. After 14 years at this club my time at Arsenal has come to an end. I would like to thank firstly God for giving me the opportunity to realise my dream for playing for Arsenal. I want to extend my appreciation to the first team, my parents, all coaches, physios, chefs and cleaners and teammates I've worked alongside with and most importantly the life blood of the club, the fans. "I want to thank everyone who has supported me along the way through my hardships and through my good times. Arsenal will always hold a special place in my heart as being a boyhood Arsenal fan it was a dream come true to make my debut for the club. I will always be a part of the Arsenal family. I look forward to where my journey takes me next." ‌ Jimi Gower, aged 20, had the honour of his name appearing on the bench multiple times throughout the 2024/25 season, similarly to Jack Henry-Francis, 21, who is set to say his own goodbyes after a nine-year tenure with the squad. Khayon Edwards, another promising talent at 21, moves on after an impressive run in the Under-21s, where he netted 12 goals and dished out three assists across 21 matches – certainly catching the eye of prospective clubs. Meanwhile, other departing young guns may not share the same limelight but are no less talented, with bright futures predicted thanks to their evident skill. The 17 players set to depart Arsenal when their contracts expire on 30 June are: Kieran Tierney, Thomas Partey, Raheem Sterling, Neto, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, Khayon Edwards, Jimi Gower, Jack Henry-Francis, Brian Okonkwo, Ismail Oulad M'Hand, Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand, Elian Quesada-Thorn, Jakai Fisher, Reece Clairmont, Romari Forde, Max Kuczynski, and Zacariah Shuaib.
