Mostafa Asal from Palm Hills maintained his position at the top of the men's rankings for the 12th consecutive week.
Similarly, Nouran Gohar from Palm Hills continued her dominance of the women's rankings for the 27th week.

Olivier Giroud to leave MLS side LAFC - World
Olivier Giroud, France's all-time top goalscorer, and Los Angeles FC have mutually agreed to part ways, the MLS club announced on Friday. The 38-year-old striker, who joined LAFC in May 2024 from AC Milan, will play his last match for the team on Sunday against Vancouver. "Olivier has been an exemplary professional during his time at LAFC," team co-president and general manager John Thorrington said. "He brought humility and a winning mentality that helped elevate everyone around him." Giroud has been heavily linked with a move to Ligue 1 club Lille, according to several media reports in France. Giroud helped LAFC reach the 2024 Leagues Cup final, where he scored his first goal for the club. He also scored in the 2024 US Open Cup final, helping LAFC win the trophy for the first time. "I want to thank all of the fans, my teammates and the staff at LAFC for making this an enjoyable stop in my career," Giroud said. "I am happy to have played a part in the success of LAFC." Giroud has scored nearly 300 goals in more than 700 club matches, winning major trophies at Montpellier, Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan. The 2018 World Cup winner leads France's all-time scoring charts with 57 goals. Al Hilal's Salem Al-Dawsari to Miss Rest of Club World Cup Due to Injury
Rana Atef Saudi Al Hilal announced that their Saudi iconic star Salem Al-Dawsari sustained a hamstring injury. The club confirmed that he will be sidelined for four to six weeks. This rules him out of the anticipated clash against Manchester City next Monday in the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup. The 33-year-old star had shone in his team's match clash Pachuca in the third group stage round, scoring the opening goal and being named Man of the Match. Al Hilal stated in an official announcement, "Medical examinations have confirmed that Salem Al-Dawsari has sustained a hamstring injury and will undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program that will last between four to six weeks." Nouran Gohar Wins 2024/2025 PSA Tour Finals Trophy
Rana Atef On Friday, Egyptian squash star Nouran Gohar, world No. 1 seed, won the PSA World Tour Finals, the final event of the 2024/2025 squash season, held in Toronto, Canada, from June 23 to 28. Gohar won the final match against US star Olivia Weaver with 3–1. The tournament saw the withdrawal of three Egyptian players: Tarek Momen, who retired, and Nour El Sherbini and Amina Orfi, due to injuries. The selected stars of the tournament for men's competitions were Mostafa Asal, Joel Makin (Wales), Marwan ElShorbagy (England), Youssef Soliman, Karim Abdel Gawad, Mohamed ElShorbagy (England), Paul Coll (New Zealand), and Diego Elias (Peru).
