Melania Trump Keeps a Low Fashion Profile at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup
Earlier in the day, the president and first lady travelled up to New Jersey from their Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster to watch the affair, which is estimated to have over 80,000 spectators. Keeping a low fashion profile, the first lady chose a simple look: She sported a white tee tucked into a knee-length skirt, and finished off the look with a navy blazer. She accessorized with bold, wide-framed white sunglasses by Christian Dior.
Her discrete choice of a suit jacket was coordinated to match the navy suit worn by President Trump. (Together, they often present a united front through their clothing choices.) Notably, the sporting even today falls on the one-year anniversary of the failed assassination attempt on the president.
Earlier this weekend on Friday, meanwhile, the president and first lady had been touring the devastation across Texas Hill Country, which suffered severe floods on July 4th. Trump paired the bracelet—a charm style gifted to her from the Hotze family—with a khaki anorak jacket, hunter-green trousers, a black baseball cap, and Converse sneakers.

Lisa Beats BTS's Career High As Her New Collaboration Climbs Again
Lisa and Maroon 5's 'Priceless' rises to No. 7 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, passing BTS's 'My ... More Universe' and setting a new high for the singer. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - NOVEMBER 23: Lisa of K-Pop group Blackpink attends the F1 Grand Prix of Las Vegas at Las Vegas Strip Circuit on November 23, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by) Blackpink and BTS both emerged as exporters of K-pop to the rest of the world more than half a decade ago, and the two beloved groups made history when they began reaching the Billboard charts in the U.S. In the years since, not only have the two bands racked up multiple bestselling albums and numerous hit songs, but the members that make up those acts have also enjoyed careers as soloists. One of the most commercially successful of the four Blackpink singers, Lisa, advances again on one of Billboard's pop radio tallies this time around. As she does, she breaks a tie with BTS that was set only a few days ago. Lisa Reaches a New Peak on the Adult Pop Airplay Chart Lisa climbs one space on the Adult Pop Airplay chart this week as 'Priceless,' her collaboration with Maroon 5, moves from No. 8 to No. 7. The tune is one of only five that credit any K-pop star — a musician largely associated with the genre, regardless of where they're originally from — to break into the highest tier. It now stands as the second-highest rising hit by any artist from that part of the world on the Adult Pop Airplay tally. Lisa Bests BTS's Chart Record Last week, 'Priceless' was matched with 'My Universe,' a collaboration between Coldplay and BTS. That track debuted on the Adult Pop Airplay chart in October 2021, and in the 20 frames it spent on the roster, it climbed as high as No. 8. Now, it's been pushed to third place, just one rung behind 'Priceless.' Lisa Trails Her Blackpink Bandmate Rosé Now that Lisa has beaten the highest slot that BTS ever reached, the two highest-rising hits of all time by K-pop acts on the Adult Pop Airplay ranking are by Blackpink members. Rosé's 'Apt.,' which benefited from a feature by Bruno Mars, missed out on becoming the first No. 1 by any K-pop musician by just one space, as it peaked at No. 2. 'Priceless' Hits New Highs on Several Tallies 'Priceless' reaches a new peak on both the Adult Pop Airplay and Radio Songs charts this week. On the latter list — which isn't specific to any one format — Lisa and Maroon 5 lift four spaces to No. 43. The same track holds at its No. 24 high point on the Adult Contemporary ranking and climbs again to No. 19 on the Pop Airplay tally after once peaking at No. 18.

Spurs' Victor Wembanyama says he's been cleared to return following blood clot
San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama expects to play this coming season and has been fully cleared after dealing with deep vein thrombosis in his shoulder for the last few months, he told the French newspaper L'Equipe in remarks published Monday. There was no immediate comment from the Spurs on the report. It has been expected that the team anticipated Wembanyama would be able to start this coming season, though there was no official word until now. 'I'm officially cleared to return. … I'll finally be able to play a bit of basketball again,' Wembanyama told the French sports daily. Wembanyama was the league's rookie of the year two years ago, and Spurs guard Stephon Castle won that same trophy this past season. Wembanyama was the front-runner to be defensive player of the year last season when he was diagnosed with the blood clot in his right shoulder in February. He was averaging 24.3 points, 11 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 3.7 assists when he was shut down; the only other player in NBA history to finish a season averaging all that was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1975-76. Wembanyama has traveled extensively in recent months and spent time last month at a Shaolin temple in Zhengzhou, China. The temple is a place that welcomes visitors who wish to study Chan meditation, Shaolin Kung Fu, traditional Chinese medicine and more. ___ AP NBA:

Trump claims to have won another golf championship, his fifth this year, at his New Jersey club
The end of the golf season in South Florida does not mean the end of Donald Trump's claims on the course. The President has shifted his golf game from Trump International West Palm Beach to his course in Bedminster, N.J. Advertisement But the change in scenery apparently has not slowed down the 79-year-old when it comes to declaring himself a champion. Trump boasted on his Truth Social website on Sunday, July 13, that he won the member-member championship at Bedminster with partner Tommy Urciuoli. "In between meetings and phone calls, it was a Great Honor to win the Member-Member Championship, at Trump National, Bedminster (Gross, no strokes), with Tommy Urciuoli as my partner. The Many other competitors were not only great Golfers, but also terrific people!" Trump wrote. President Donald Trump waves to supporters who gathered across the street from his Trump International Golf Club to celebrate President's Day in West Palm Beach, Florida on February 17, 2025. Trump has worked diligently on his golf game since starting his second term. In the first 10 weeks since the Jan. 20 inauguration, Trump had at least eight golf outings to his courses in Palm Beach County, Florida. Advertisement And his boasts now have become legendary. Trump, who never loses an event at one of his tournaments, once said he won a club championship when he didn't play the first round, crowned himself winner of a Senior Club Championship when nobody saw him play and said he won an event at Bedminster shooting a 67 on a course in which LIV Golf held a tournament and of the 144 rounds, only six LIV golfers shot 67 or lower. Trump now is claiming five championships this year, including teaming with Finnish President Alexander Stubb to win the Men's Member-Guest tournament in late March at Trump International West Palm Beach. He also was declared the winner at the Senior Club Championship at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter one week later. In March, while posting he won the Club Championship at Trump International West Palm Beach, Trump added it would "probably" be his last. He's up to three more claims since then. Advertisement Trump was asked about his handicap in March while aboard Air Force One. "Very low," he said. "I've a very low handicap." That was after he announced he had won the Senior Club Championship at his course outside of West Palm Beach. "Very good," when asked how the golf tournament was. "Because I won. It's good to win. You heard I won, right? Did you hear I won? I like to win." In his 2023 post about carding a 67 at Bedminster, Trump said: "For some reason, I am just a good golfer/athlete − I have won many Club Championships, and it is always a great honor!"
