The 'Mayhem Ball' has finally dropped.
Four long months after releasing her seventh studio album 'Mayhem,' Lady Gaga launched her highly-anticipated North American arena tour at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena on Wednesday, July 16.
Over five exquisitely-titled acts and an encore, Ms. Germanotta delivered 27 songs. They ran the gamut from chart-topping radio staples like 'Poker Face,' 'Paparazzi' and 'Just Dance' to her emotive, soul-baring duets 'Shallow' and 'Die With A Smile' to cuts from 'Mayhem,' according to Set List FM.
When all was said and done, she closed the concert with the slinky party-starting singalong 'How Bad Do U Want Me.'
'Its ideas were as big as its presentation, and Gaga kept its focus with over-the-top theatrics and an even greater vision,' Variety raved in a review of the Sin City show.
'…but at the heart of her performance was a parade of hits that served as the backbone of the Gaga experience, one that continuously elicited screams and chants from the attendees decked out in Gaga costumes.'
Variety also noted that Gaga had surprisingly switched up the second half of her live show compared to what she'd staged in Singapore this past spring while warming up for the tour.
'There was no 'Blade of Grass' or 'Always Remember Us This Way,' as she'd sung in Singapore; instead, she folded in 'Applause' and 'Summerboy,' and swapped 'How Bad Do U Want Me' as the evening's closer. She sang a new rendition of 'Die With a Smile' at the lip of the stage on a piano; 'Shallow' had a fresh arrangement that offered a different texture to the melodramatic ballad.'
If you'd like to see the shape-shifting, versatile 14-time Grammy winner put on her one-of-a-kind show live, tickets are available for all upcoming North American concerts (including her five at Madison Square Garden this August and September).

Lady Gaga new music
On March 7, Lady Gaga dropped her seventh studio album 'Mayhem.'
The energetic, maximalist dance pop record — which many rightly call a return to form — rarely takes a moment to breathe (save for the final two tracks, which veer into singalong ballad territory). Over its 53-minute runtime, Gaga goes hard providing her signature powerful vocals over shimmery synths, thumping percussion and the occasional epic guitar riff. And, yes, it's an absolute blast that we went gaga over.
Standouts here include the anthemic, electro 'Disease,' disco jam 'Abracadabra,' creepy, hypnotic bop 'Killah,' glittery foot-stomper 'Zombieboy' and retro, New Wave-esque 'Don't Call Tonight.'
Still, our top track has to be the lead single, Gaga's throwback 'Die With A Smile' duet with Bruno Mars. Sweeping yet intimate and thrillingly romantic, the heartfelt tune pairs perfectly as an upbeat counterpart to her similarlly swooning 'Shallow.' It's essential and we'd bet will likely become a staple at Gaga tours for the next few decades.
If you'd like to fire up the record right now and find your own favorite song, 'Mayhem' can be found here.

Lady Gaga's new tour features fan messages, with predictable gay antics

Lady Gaga embarked on her highly anticipated Mayhem Ball this week, with the first stop being at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The pop superstar delivered an unforgettable set of songs, including some deep cuts like "Aura" from ARTPOP and "Summerboy" from her debut album, The Fame. She also debuted a new song called "Kill for Love."However, before the show began, fans were given the opportunity to participate in the show and submit messages using a form on her website, and some were chosen to be displayed on the monitors. The notes that were sent in ranged from adoration to political messages to typical gay antics. Here are some of our favorites. "C'mon Monsters! Let's go! Everybody better be jumpin'" To those who aren't chronically online, this message may seem like any regular old post about getting the crowd hyped. However, those who spend way too much online will immediately get the reference. This is a reference to a young boy named Staten Harry, who uploaded a video of himself lip-syncing to "Alejandro" and said the phrase heard round the world. The flamboyant young boy stole the hearts of the Little Monsters, who still love him to this day, even if he has denounced Gaga and pivoted to being a Christian influencer. - YouTube He changed the name of his YouTube channel to StatenLwSpreading_GodsGrace and wrote a lengthy message in the description of one of his videos about how he stopped worshipping Gaga and focused on his religion. "March 28th used to be a VERY demonic day for me because it's Lady Gaga's birthday…. a day I used to worship her and exalt her on so crazy much," he wrote. "So anyways just a little testimony of HOW GOOD GOD is and how now on March 28th im glorifying HIM not a mere celebrity." He went on to write, "I legit had thousands of pictures of her on my phone. Pictures even on my wall. My clothes. My phone's wallpaper. My entire social media accounts were even based upon worshiping her. Wow….Thank you LORD for saving me. Amen.' Little Monsters remind everyone that art is political Some of the messages on display were political, and a Lady Gaga concert is the perfect place to share these sentiments. One message reads, "No human is illegal. Melt ICE. Fuck Trump," whereas another note reads, "F Donald Trump, trans lives matter, and FREE PALESTINE." Everyone remembers their first time Alex from NYC shared a sentimental memory with the crowd that reads, "First time I ate p*ssy was to Born This Way, thanks for always being there for me Gaga!" The comment was one of the more shocking messages that made it to the stage, with one X user posting it with the caption, "CAN Y'ALL BEHAVE?! Also, is there no moderator?!" If these are the types of messages we're going to see, we say keep them coming. Gay people's bedrooms? A likely place for Gaga to be Joey shared an unsurprising message, "My husband and I bone to Mayhem sometimes. We are gay. Hi everyone." Some of the messages get even more NSFW, leading fans to believe there's a good chance this idea won't last that long. "This segment will definitely be deleted for the rest of the tour,' one person suggested. "RIP Voices of Mayhem. They're gonna silence us now," another person wrote. The next show is taking place on Friday, as she plays a three-show stop in Vegas before moving on to San Francisco on July 22. Early 'Superman' Reviews Turn Heads as Rotten Tomatoes Score Is Revealed

Although Superman doesn't hit theaters in wide release until Friday, July 11, those who bought their tickets through a special Amazon promotion will get to see the movie today, on Tuesday, July 8. And, for movie critics who have already seen the movie, tiny social media reviews have already indicated that this take on Superman just might be a crowd-pleaser. As reported by Variety, a handful of critics have sounded off on social media about their feelings about the new Superman reboot. "Bold yet faithful," wrote Bryan Sudfiel. Meanwhile, critic Brandon Davis said that the romantic chemistry between David Corenswet's Superman and Rachel Brosnahan's Lois Lane "is off the charts" in the movie. And now, the official Rotten Tomatoes score for the 2025 Superman has been revealed. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Superman has a high score of 90 percent right now. Historically, reviews of various Superman movies are all over the place. While 2013's Man of Steel holds a 57 percent score on RT from critics, it has a 75 percent score from general audiences. 2006's Superman Returns is basically the opposite; the critical score is 73 percent, and the audience score is 60. Only when we go further back in time to the 1978 classic, starring Christopher Reeve, does the audience perception and the critical perception of a Superman movie start to align. So yes, the critical score for Superman is a solid 90 percent. But the audience score won't be clear well into the weekend. In short, with this Superman movie, like several Superman movies before it, we should expect there to be some kind of general disagreement about its basic quality. There's a good chance the film will make a ton of money at the box office. Will everyone love it? You Can Still Secure Tickets to Lady Gaga's Mayhem Ball Tour

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Lady Gaga's Mayhem Ball Tour is officially underway. Supporting her chart-topping album, Gaga is hitting cities across North America, Europe, and the U.K., marking her first full arena tour since 2018. 'There's something electric about a stadium, and I love every moment of those shows,' Gaga shared in a statement. 'But with The Mayhem Ball, I wanted to create a different kind of experience—something more intimate, closer, more connected—that lends itself to the live theatrical art I love to create.' Gaga wasn't initially planning to tour this year, but as she explained on Instagram, the enthusiasm from fans was overwhelming. 'The incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going. We chose arenas this time to give me the opportunity to control the details of the show in a way you simply can't in stadiums—and honestly, I can't wait.' The Mayhem Ball kicked off on July 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will travel to Seattle, New York, Miami, Toronto, and Chicago, before heading overseas with stops including London, Milan, Berlin, and Paris. The tour wraps up on November 20. On April 15, Gaga announced she would be expanding the tour with 13 additional performances due to high demand, including extra shows in major cities across North America and Europe. On April 22, she revealed seven more stops have been added to the tour, expanding the North American leg even further. Fans in California can now catch her in San Francisco for three nights, as well as four in Los Angeles. Fans can expect Gaga's signature theatricality, paired with the album's themes of embracing personal chaos and radical self-acceptance. As Gaga told ELLE in her February 2025 cover story, creating Mayhem was 'about following your own chaos into whatever cranny of your life that it takes you to.' She further explained, 'Part of the message of even the first song on the album is that your demons are with you in the beginning and they are with you in the end, and I don't mean it in a bleak way. Maybe we can make friends sooner with this reality instead of running all the time.' Gaga also emphasized that the album 'breaks a lot of rules and has a lot of fun.'
