He starred as the criminal Mr. Blonde in Tarantino's 1992 directorial debut, 'Reservoir Dogs,' before teaming up with the filmmaker again for 'Kill Bill: Volume 1' in 2003 and 'Kill Bill: Volume 2' in 2004.

'To whom it may concern, A few recent articles have suggested my disillusionment with my marriage and a dark connection between my wife and the loss of our son. I was and not the writer of this story and wish my wife no harm or embarrassment,' Madsen wrote beneath a picture with DeAnna.
'Losing a child is the hardest and most painful experience that can happen in this world. I deeply apologize for not correcting this earlier but I love my wife and our other 4 children and have no desire for divorce or blame,' he continued. 'She had absolutely nothing to do with what happened to our son.'
Madsen elaborated, 'It was a horrible loss and choice that was made for reasons that truly cannot ever be known because the person is gone, I don't think my son is dead , I think he escaped from a life that didn't make sense anymore.'

‘Jaws' doc director proclaims he never wants to see another sequel

He doesn't want any bigger boats. Laurent Bouzereau, director of the new National Geographic documentary 'Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story,' exclusively spoke to The Post about if he thinks there will be more sequels made to Steven Spielberg's 1975 classic. 'I hope not,' said Bouzereau, 63. 'You look at Mona Lisa and you go, 'Oh, will we ever see a copy of the same person seen by someone else?' I sure as hope not. So I apply the same thing to something as perfect as 'Jaws.'' 10 Laurent Bouzereau in his interview with The Post. New York Post Describing the iconic shark movie as 'a piece of art that stands the test of time,' Bouzereau said he thinks the film 'should be re-examined constantly or discovered even by new generations.' 'Which is in fact one of the goals of this documentary film is to get people to watch 'Jaws' again,' the French-American filmmaker added, 'or to watch it for the first time.' 10 A crew member works on the mechanical shark on the set of 'Jaws.' Courtesy of Universal Studios Licensing LLC 'Jaws,' based on Peter Benchley's 1974 novel, was followed by three sequels that didn't involve Spielberg, 78, or Benchley. The new documentary gives a behind-the-scenes look at 'Jaws' with rare archival footage and interviews with conservationists and directors, including Spielberg himself. 'I was thrilled to be able to tell the story of a true masterpiece and a true auteur in Mr. Spielberg,' Bouzereau told The Post. 'And I found myself really rediscovering it in a way way that actually I had never suspected.' 10 Steven Spielberg and Laurent Bouzerea during an interview for 'Jaws @ 50.' National Geographic/Chris Johnson 'It is a love letter,' Bouzereau added about the doc, 'but I hope that it's also a very inspirational film for people who may never have seen 'Jaws,' because it's a story of persistence and perseverance and overcoming the odds and the triumph of the human spirit when you're faced with a situation like Steven was.' 10 Steven Spielberg on the set of 'Jaws.' Courtesy of Universal Studios Licensing LLC 10 Steven Spielberg on the set of 'Jaws.' Courtesy of Universal Studios Licensing LLC Bouzereau said it wasn't difficult to get famed directors James Cameron, J.J. Abrams, Guillermo del Toro, George Lucas, Jordan Peele, Robert Zemeckis and more to participate in the doc. 'People were really wanting to talk about 'Jaws.' The only thing that was in the way was my very, very fast production schedule,' he explained. 'Even though we didn't compromise over anything, those great directors are extremely busy and to match up with everybody's schedule is definitely a challenge.' 'However, the list was very carefully put together and had nothing to do really with the profile of the people as much as it had to do with what they represent in culture today and how great it is that from Jim Cameron to Guillermo del Toro to J.J., Jordan Peele, Bob Zemeckis, all of them own a part of 'Jaws' in a very unique and specific way,' Bouzereau added. 10 Laurent Bouzereau in his interview with The Post. New York Post 10 Steven Spielberg, Bill Butler, and crew on the set of 'Jaws' in 1974. 'I think it does sort of continue what 'Jaws' has started as far as merchandising, for example,' said Bouzereau. 'I think there is a realization, although much more from George's point of view, because the studio didn't get the rights to all of the merchandising.' 10 People line up outside of the Rivoli Theater in New York City to see 'Jaws' in 1975. You are part of a movement of people who loved something and you want the world to know it,' he continued. 'And you want them to know that you're part of the culture and you belong in the 'Jaws' culture and you belong in the 'Star Wars' culture.' 'Jaws @ 50' premieres July 10 on National Geographic and will stream on Disney+ and Hulu.

Charlize Theron Says ‘Scumbag' Director Made a Sexual Pass at Her, Then ‘Wrote a Letter Trying to Explain How I Misunderstood It': ‘I Won't Let a Motherf—er F— With Me'

Charlize Theron appeared on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast during her press tour for 'The Old Guard 2' and was asked about an early audition in which a male director made a sexual pass at her. It's an incident the Oscar winner first revealed on 'The Howard Stern Show' in April 2019. Theron said she was told to go to a director's house on a Saturday night for a movie audition. He allegedly answered the door in pajamas, then proceeded to 'put his hand on my knee.' She immediately got up and left. 'I didn't know what the audition process looked like,' Theron now said on 'Call Her Daddy' when asked about the audition. 'I didn't know how you went about being an actor… [my agency] said there was a casting for this movie and you'll have to go on a Saturday night. It was this director's house. The little voice inside me definitely said, 'This isn't right.' But then, the other voice in me says, 'Well, I don't know. Maybe it is right.'' It's not because I'm protecting him or anything. 'He got nervous for a little bit. He heard me tell the story and he knew it was about him, and he wrote me a pretend letter trying to explain his behavior and how I must have misunderstood it, which is classic, isn't it? It's so classic,' Theron continued, claiming the director 'panicked' about her going public. 'I won't even fucking say your name because you know you're the scumbag. You know it's you,' Theron said. 'If anybody ever asked me about him, I would be completely honest — and he knows that. I kind of like that he's got to be on a hot seat. He doesn't know when it's going to come. I kind of like that a little more.' The Oscar winner concluded, 'I will not let a motherfucker fuck with me any day of the week, but when somebody catches you off guard like that… I was never going to get a part that night. I knew it as soon as I left. I wasn't there because I had some value that I was going to bring to his movie. I was only valued for one thing.' Celebrities who picked up painting as Ed Sheeran turns to art

A new exhibition of Ed Sheeran's artworks is taking place at Heni Gallery. The Grammy-winning singer and songwriter began painting in 2019 during downtime between recording sessions and touring. Last year, he exhibited his brightly-coloured, Pollock-esque paintings in a disused car park. Sheeran has now teamed up with Heni, the company that represents Damien Hirst, to put on a new exhibition: Cosmic Carpark Paintings, running until August 1. Prints will be on sale for £900 each, with 50 per cent of funds going to the Ed Sheeran Foundation, which supports music education in state schools and grassroots organisations across the nation. Kill Bill star Lucy Liu began making art when she was a teenager. Growing up in Queens in the 1980s, Liu would wander around the streets of New York City, taking photographs, which she'd use in collages. After doing an intensive class at New York Studio School, she turned to painting, which found to be a more freeing medium. The world-renowned Beatles star has a lesser-known creative outlet: painting. McCartney's artwork often depicts famous figures, such as David Bowie and Elvis Presley, through acerbic colours and warping shapes. Jim Carrey has been drawing and painting since childhood. The actor is drawn to vivid colours and abstract figures, often with fierce political undertones, such as his cartoonish depictions of Donald Trump. Alongside winning multiple Oscars, Anthony Hopkins is also a painter. Working with ink, oil and acrylics, the actor creates vibrantly-coloured artworks, often veering towards distorted faces. He might be best known for playing James Bond but Pierce Brosnan grew up dreaming of becoming a painter. An alumni of London's Central St Martins College of Art and Design, Brosnan has created at least 300 artworks. Often depicting psychedelic landscapes, Brosnan has recently ventured into ceramics. Beyond his Hollywood career, James Franco is also a Gucci model, a published poet and a visual artist (as well as holding a PhD from Yale). The two-time Golden Globe winner is drawn to themes of masculinity, celebrity and identity in his multimedia artworks. 'Acting, writing, painting – they all orbit around those ideas for me,' he told Numero Magazine, 'It's about capturing a person – their essence, their transformation.' The Golden Globe-winning actor Johnny Depp has also embarked on visual art, including a number of self-portraits. Last year, the artist's work was exhibited at an art gallery in Chelsea, New York, and received mixed critical acclaim. The New York Post described it as 'one huge, derivative, delusional ego bath'. Creativity is in Jemima Kirke's DNA. The Girls actress is the daughter of a rock musician father and fashion designer mother, a talented household that likely influenced her to pursue painting at Rhode Island School of Design. Her work often gravitates towards portraits of young girls. 'My kids are sick of being painted,' Kirke told W Magazine. Alongside his musical career, Bob Dylan is also a painter, sculptor, filmmaker and author. The Nobel Prize-winning singer has drawn since his childhood in Minnesota, continuing to take inspiration from American cityscapes throughout his life.
