Ready for her happily ever after: SPCA shares sweet Bobby update

The SPCA has shared an update about Bobby, the female dog that was cruelly abused and left to starve, who is now ready to be adopted.
The animal made headlines when a clip of her emaciated body went viral on a TikTok posted by Johannesburg content creator Sasha Tshiamo last month.
The influencer and the dog's owners are now facing charges of animal cruelty.
On their X account, the SPCA shared another heartwarming update about Bobby, who they had rescued from her cruel owners.
The animal activists posted pictures of the dog wearing a warm jacket and a bandana that read: 'I'm so adorable.'
'Bobby, the emaciated dog who broke hearts on X, is ready for her forever home! 🐾💙 She's healthy, happy, and full of love', the post read.
In an Instagram post, the SPCA posted a clip of Bobby happily playing in a garden.
'Bobby went from trending on X to rolling like a queen. She's ready for a life of luxury, so head on over to @spcaboksburg to meet this sassy single lady!'.
Individuals interested in adopting Bobby are invited to visit the SPCA in Boksburg. View this post on Instagram

Last month, a TikTok video of influencer Sasha Tshiamo quickly went viral.
While the content creator danced in the video, all eyes were on the emaciated dog in the background that had social media users up in arms.
The SPCA responded to the call to action, removing the dog – affectionately named Bobby – from its owner's care.
They said of 'Bobby': 'She is the most lovable dog, handing out kisses to everyone since the moment she arrived! Forced to eat plastic to survive, Bobby was found severely malnourished, suffering from fly strike, and covered in ticks and fleas'. The SPCA has shared a heartwarming update on rescue dog Bobby. Sasha refused to take responsibility for the backlash to the video. In an Instagram Story, she posted, 'I don't know if I must laugh or cry, guys. That's not my dog.'
In her TikTok video, a follower asked her to feed the dog. She clapped back, 'It's not my responsibility.' @sashalee.tshiamo ♬ original sound – Chachamesa Canny

Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce gets new nickname in Podcast

Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce is living a real-life romantic comedy that his brother Jason joked could be a 'Pretty Woman' movie in reverse. The duo, who have become increasingly popular with their New Heights podcast, shared some light-hearted banter about the classic film. He recently highlighted Travis's high-profile relationship with global pop icon Taylor Swift. During a recent New Heights episode, the Kelce brothers discussed the iconic movie Pretty Woman . Travis sparked the conversation by suggesting a twist: a movie called 'Pretty Man.' He imagined a CEO billionaire woman so refined and high-class that she's clueless about everyday things, according to Athalon Sports. Jason quickly fired back with a joke that hit close to home. 'Travis, you're living Pretty Man right now,' he said, causing both brothers to burst into laughter. The comment playfully referenced Travis's relationship with Taylor Swift, portraying him as the high-class 'Pretty Man' in their dynamic. This banter offers a fun look into the personal lives of these two athletes beyond the football field. The story of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift adds an entertaining crossover between sports and music culture. In South Africa, where both American football and international celebrity culture continue to gain interest, their relationship highlights the allure of celebrity power couples worldwide. Jason Kelce, a well-respected NFL player himself, also revealed how their podcast has grown in popularity. It's a platform where Jason and Travis Kelce give fans a peek into their lives, blending sports insight with humour and brotherly love. Their playful references to Hollywood blockbusters like Pretty Woman show the lighter side of professional athletes, often lost amid headlines about scores and drafts. As their story unfolds, audiences can appreciate how the Kelce brothers blend charm and wit. It's proof that, beyond athletic prowess, personality and relatability can captivate fans worldwide. In Travis's words, straight from the podcast: 'We might just have to produce the 'Pretty Man' movie. Because I think I'm already auditioning for the role.' And judging by Jason's laughter and quick quip, this 'Hollywood remake' is very much underway, with Travis Kelce starring as the leading man. The Rock pays emotional tribute to Hulk Hogan

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has paid a heartfelt tribute to wrestling legend Hulk Hogan following his death from cardiac arrest at the age of 71. Johnson, who grew up idolising Hogan, shared emotional memories of their first meeting in 1984. 12-year-old Johnson caught Hogan's famous 'Hulkster' headband at Madison Square Garden. The Rock returned the headband backstage, an act that left Hogan 'shocked and so happy' because it was his last one of its kind.
