For horror fans like me, this summer will live on in our memory as a landmark moment. The year Danny Boyle and Alex Garland joined forces for the first time in 23 years to gift us a movie: 28 Years Later – a reboot of their 2002 zombie classic, 28 Days Later. Now. Was it as good as the original? Debatable.
Put it this way: it could well have been called 28 Dongs Later. There was bouncing zombie genitalia as far as the eye could see, which made me supremely grateful that I hadn't opted for a 3D showing. I shudder to think what a 4D experience would have to offer?
