The actor starred alongside Hollywood legend Eddie Murphy, as he helps Detroit cop Axel investigate the murder of his best friend. Bronson reprised his role for the third instalment, where Axel returns to Beverly Hills after his boss is murdered and discovers evidence linking the killer to a California amusement park called Wonder World. The Serge star then returned for one more appearance in the 2024 reboot, where Axel takes on another investigation after his daughter's life is threatened. Bronson is also known for his role as Balki Bartokomous, on the 1980s sitcom Perfect Strangers and 1997 series Step By Step. In 2021, Bronson showcased his new slimmed-down figure after losing 60 pounds during the pandemic. He shared that it took him just six months to lose the weight. Bronson told Page Six the desire to embark on a health journey came after seeing a photo of himself he didn't like. He stumbled upon a picture of himself from his time competing on Battle of the Network Stars in 2017, which saw actors going up against each other in various athletic games. 'There was an old fat guy,' he recalled of what he thought upond seeing the photo. This turning point came just a couple of months into lockdown, and he decided in May 2020 to make a change and work on his health and fitness. In just six months, he dropped 60 pounds. He credited a lot of healthy eating for helping him shed teh weight. After getting rid of all the junk food at his home, he explained: 'Then I just put healthy food in the house and I said, 'OK, puppy, you can have whatever's there.'' He then shared before-and-after photos of himself, featuring a photo of him in a cobalt blue long-sleeve and shorts combo on Battle of the Network Sttars and present-day one of him in a T-shirt and shorts. He captioned the update post: 'Me. Before self-designed healthy plant-based eating program & 20 seconds ago.' The actor added to fans on Instagram of what led him to get healthier: 'I looked at myself shortly after my 61st birthday in May and was truly appalled at where I had let my bad habits & pandemic stress lead me.' He said he now feels 'light, flexible, healthy, hydrated & confident.'

HE was a wide-eyed floppy-haired heartthrob in the 80s who was reluctantly labelled part of the Brat Pack. His rapid rise to superstardom coincided with his breakout role as moody Washington Post journalist Kevin Dolenz in classic coming-of-age film St Elmo's Fire. 3 Now 62, the actor is still considered one of the greatest young stars of all time with Pretty in Pink and Weekend at Bernie's also among his credits. And while he might be a little more mature in appearance, Andrew McCarthy's charm still shines through in a new snap with his daughter Willow, 18, ahead of her prom. He couldn't help but joke about one of his famous films, quipping, "she did not wear pink". Willow, who is from Andrew's second marriage to writer Dolores Rice, made her dad beam with pride as they posed for the sweet snap. Though the father and daughter duo are close, she has no interest in watching the films that made her dad a star. Speaking to The Times last year, Andrew said, "Some of her friends told her to watch Pretty in Pink. But she saw a trailer and said, 'I don't want to watch you kissing some other person.' Andrew made his feelings clear on the title, telling The Times: "Who wants to be called a brat? Who wants to be lumped into a pack? The public went, 'Oh my God, we love that!' Whereas the industry perceived it as a very negative indictment.' At the same time his star was soaring, Andrew had an addiction to alcohol, which he eventually sought help for in 1992. 3 3 He began drinking when he was 12 and insists he'd have abused booze irrespective of his fame. 'I abused alcohol — that's no secret," he said. "I just got to drink better vodka because I was in the movies. It affected my career, and it took me several years to realise I had a problem.' He's now been sober for 33 years. Though he has landed roles consistently through the 90s and noughties, he hasn't recaptured the same level of fame that both blessed and cursed him in the 80s. Iconic 80s movie star looks unrecognizable as he steps out in LA 40 years after smash hit movie – do you recognise him?
ICONIC 80s movie star Jeff Cohen looked totally unrecognizable this week as he stepped out in Los Angeles. Best known for playing Chunk, the beloved truffle-shuffler from the 1985 Spielberg -produced hit, The Goonies, Cohen looked world's away from his onscreen persona. 6 6 6 Now 50, the one-time child star currently works as a successful entertainment lawyer. Dressed in a suit jacket, jeans, and a maroon fedora, Jeff was a far cry from the ice cream-obsessed, Hawaii-shirt-wearing-mischief-maker he played as a kid. Before leaving acting behind, Cohen appeared in hit TV shows like Family Ties, The Facts of Life, and Webster, but he says it was puberty that ended his Hollywood dream. "There were basically about four fat kids in town, so every time there was a fat kid role, you saw the same people at the audition," Jeff once shared. "It was survival of the fattest. But when I hit puberty, it was a career ender for me. I was transforming from Chunk to hunk and I couldn't get roles any more." He added: "It was terrible. My first love was acting, but puberty had other ideas. It was a forced retirement. I didn't give up acting. Acting gave me up." Cohen, who studied at UC Berkeley and later went to UCLA School of Law, co-founded Cohen Gardner LLP in 2002. Despite his fame as a child, he says clients have no problem taking him seriously. "My clients get a kick out of the fact their lawyer is Chunk. They dig it," he said. "With my job, I'm dealing with legitimately famous people, so it's just silly and fun. "I'm usually only the fifth most famous person in the room at any one time." Cohen's memories of making The Goonies remain vivid. "It was great," he recalled. "For me, the best part about it was Richard Donner the director. He was big on letting the kids be kids and I think that's one of the reasons the movie stands up today." He continued: "People still watch the movie themselves or watch it with their own kids. Even though it's very eighties in the fashions, it's still kids being kids. "Richard Donner wanted us to improvise, talk over each other, push and shove and kind of do our thing. "I think that's one of the reasons people like it. It doesn't seem like kids acting. It's just kids being themselves, which Richard really encouraged. He wanted us to be comfortable." Recalling one particular moment with Donner, Jeff said: "In the scene where Sloth picks me up while I'm strapped to a chair, I was told he wasn't going to pick me up because John Matuszak's back hurt. "But of course, John was so strong it was nothing to him, so he just picked me up and kissed me. My shock and horror was real. I wasn't that good an actor – that was actual terror on my face." Earlier this year, Jeff reunited with his co-stars to celebrate fellow Goonie Ke Huy Quan, who played Data, as he was honored at the TCL Chinese Theater. Cohen, along with Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin, Kerri Green, and screenwriter Chris Columbus turned out to support Quan, who won an Oscar last year for Everything Everywhere All at Once. Jeff, now Ke Huy Quan's entertainment lawyer, gave his friend a proud bear hug as the group relived their childhood memories on the red carpet. 6 6

In the film - which she starred alongside lead actor Matthew Broderick - she played Sloane Peterson, who was known for being the sex symbol of the movie. Away from Ferris Bueller, Mia who hails from New York, also portrayed Melissa Walker in the science fiction film Timecop back in 1994. Although Mia looks very different from her acting heyday, she still looks incredible and oozes glamor. Showing off her age-defying good looks, the star stepped out for a rare appearance at a showbiz event. Mia was spotted on the red carpet at The Life of Chuck premiere in Los Angeles.
