Here is every player joining Dabo Swinney at the 2025 ACC Kickoff
Clemson football's representatives for the upcoming ACC Kickoff have been announced, and the Tigers are sending some of their biggest names to Charlotte. Head coach Dabo Swinney will be joined by star quarterback Cade Klubnik, wide receiver Antonio Williams, defensive end T.J. Parker, and defensive tackle Peter Woods when Clemson takes the stage on July 24 — the final day of the ACC's annual three-day media event at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown. The Tigers will share the spotlight with Boston College, Duke, North Carolina, new Tar Heels coach Bill Belichick, NC State and Virginia. This marks Klubnik's third straight appearance at ACC Kickoff as he prepares for a highly anticipated 2025 season. The Heisman hopeful threw for 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns last year, helping the Tigers reclaim the ACC crown and punch a ticket back to the College Football Playoff. He's widely projected as a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. For Parker, Woods and Williams, this will be their first ACC Kickoff appearance, but each brings big-time production and high NFL upside. Parker led Clemson in sacks with 11 and set a school record with six forced fumbles last season. Woods, despite modest stats, anchors the interior with his power and ability to disrupt plays. Williams, who came back for his senior year, is Klubnik's top target after a 75-catch, 904-yard, 11-touchdown campaign in 2024. With its core stars returning, Clemson will aim to defend its ACC title and make another deep Playoff push after snapping a three-year postseason drought. Cade Klubnik among 4 Clemson football players joining Dabo Swinney at ACC kickoff
CLEMSON — The ACC announced which Clemson football players will join coach Dabo Swinney at ACC kickoff, and the group is among its best players. Heisman candidate quarterback Cade Klubnik, wide receiver Antonio Williams, defensive end T.J. Parker and defensive tackle Peter Woods will be in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 24, the final day of the three-day event where coaches and players will be interviewed. Advertisement All three days will be held at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown. Clemson will be accompanied by Boston College, Duke, North Carolina and coach Bill Belichick, NC State and Virginia on the last day. This will be Klubnik's third straight season attending ACC kickoff. He enters 2025 as one of the premier quarterbacks in the nation after throwing for 3,639 yards (10th in the nation) with 36 touchdowns (third) and six interceptions and rushing for 463 yards to help Clemson win the ACC championship and return to the College Football Playoff. He is projected to be a first-round selection in the 2026 NFL Draft. The other players joining him are making their ACC kickoff debut, but they are talented players who could win national college awards and be taken early in the draft. Parker, a 6-foot-3 265-pound junior, led Clemson in sacks with 11 last year and set the program record for forced fumbles in a single season with six. Woods, also a junior, recorded 28 tackles and three sacks over 11 games in 2024, but his impact doesn't show on the stat sheet. The 6-3, 300-pound tackle is a disrupter through his combination of power and agility, where he commands double teams. He turned into Klubnik's favorite target, and his dominant 2024 season put him in reach of multiple career Clemson records. With a ton of experienced production returning, Clemson will vie for another ACC championship and a lengthy run in the College Football Playoff after ending its three-year drought last season.
