Separately, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) concluded its first-ever official trade mission to the Republic of Mauritius, which was organised in collaboration with the Economic Development Board (EDB) of Mauritius from June 30 to July 3. The mission aimed at strengthening economic and trade relations and fostering stronger business-to-business engagement. It focused on exploring high-potential investment opportunities and expanding cooperation and coordination between the business communities of Sharjah and Mauritius. This strategic initiative is part of the Chamber's ongoing efforts to attract targeted investments and support the global expansion of private enterprises and local businesses into opportunity-rich markets. last week, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) engaged in discussions with the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates to explore ways to enhance economic cooperation and strengthen trade and investment relations between the two countries. The meeting emphasised the importance of fostering partnerships between business communities and private sector institutions to leverage high-potential investment opportunities across diverse industries in both nations. The discussions were held during an official visit by Almaz Tasbolat, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai, to the Sharjah Chamber's headquarters, where he was received by Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI. The meeting was attended by Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business Sector at SCCI, and Dr. Fatima Khalifa Al Muqarrab, Director of International Relations Department at SCCI, along with several officials from both sides. During the meeting, officials from both sides explored ongoing cooperation between Sharjah and Kazakhstan, focusing on strategies to advance economic ties through the exchange of trade delegations and the coordination of sector-specific exhibitions and events.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the exhibition was organized by SCCI in collaboration with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD). The awards ceremony, held at SCCI's headquarters, recognized the outstanding efforts and key contributions of partners whose support played a vital role in the exhibition's growth and success. The ACRES 2025 exhibition registered a record-breaking participation, with 110 exhibitors from leading real estate development and investment companies, marking the largest edition in the exhibition's history. Positive outcomes at ACRES 2025 The council reviewed a detailed report on the 10th edition of the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition (ACRES 2025), which recorded a notable rise in performance. The number of transactions reached 2,505, while the total value of deals climbed to AED 4.4 billion. More than 110 real estate companies took part in the event, including both local and international participants. The exhibition attracted over 15,000 visitors and featured upwards of 30 speakers who led training workshops and awareness programmes. The report also underlined the positive impact of the Executive Council's decision to reduce sale and purchase fees by 50% for transactions conducted during the exhibition. A statistical comparison with previous years was provided to highlight the growth and improved outcomes. In addition, the council reviewed the participation guide for Sharjah Government's presence at GITEX 2025. The upcoming exhibition aims to spotlight innovations that support digital transformation and align with future technological developments across various sectors. The main themes of the participating projects will focus on digital government services, data and artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and smart systems, information and cyber security, and digital empowerment and capacity building. Sharjah's participation in GITEX 2025 continues its strong presence in past editions. The emirate's pavilion at the most recent edition drew over 28,000 visitors, facilitated engagement with more than 250 companies, showcased 18 distinguished government projects, and witnessed the signing of four cooperation agreements.

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), represented by the Sharjah Training and Development Centre (STDC), successfully concluded its official tour to France, the UK, and the Kingdom of Spain. STDC's delegation was headed by Maryam Saif Al Shamsi, Assistant Director General of the Support Services Sector at the Sharjah Chamber, and included Amal Abdullah Al Ali, Director of STDC, along with Dr Khaled Maqlad, Consultant for SMEs and Entrepreneurship Development at SCCI. During the tour, STDC signed nine cooperation and strategic partnership agreements with prestigious universities, academic and training institutions, and prominent official entities across France, the UK, and Spain. Notable institutions involved include the Granada Chamber of Commerce's School of Management, Kellogg College at the University of Oxford, Cambridge Training College Britain, and London Strategy Centre (LSC).These partnerships aim to facilitate the exchange of expertise, promote knowledge-sharing, and jointly develop innovative and globally accredited training and academic programs. The collaborations will focus on enhancing strategic leadership, business management practices, and executive leadership development. Maryam Al Shamsi reaffirmed the Sharjah Chamber's commitment to strengthening STDC's capabilities in delivering internationally accredited training programmes. She highlighted the strategic objective of establishing STDC as a leading global hub for advanced Al Ali emphasised the strategic partnerships established during the tour, reinforcing the Centre's ongoing efforts to strengthen global collaborations. In 2023, a fruitful collaboration with the School of Management at the Granada Chamber of Commerce led to the launch of the 'Strategic Business Leadership' programme. Meanwhile earlier the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) announced the launch of the 'Business Impact' Podcast during the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition 'ACRES 2025', organised by the Chamber in collaboration with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) from January 22nd to 25th. The Podcast aims to highlight the importance of Sharjah as a strategic destination for business management and investment in the region. The podcast, to be released via Sharjah Chamber's social media platforms, featured local and international business owners and entrepreneurs who share their successful experiences in Sharjah. It discusses various economic issues and how businesses can benefit from the unique business environment Sharjah offers, including investment opportunities, government facilitation, and the role of the Chamber of Commerce in fostering economic growth.
