Black Ops 7 leak hints omni-directional movement is about to level up again

A new Call of Duty Black Ops 7 leak has seemingly revealed that wingsuits are set to make a return in the hugely anticipated shooter, in a new 20v20 mode called Skirmish. Black Ops 7 is eagerly awaited, but a recent leak suggests some significant new additions to the series' multi-directional movement arsenal. The unveiling of Black Ops 7 during this year's Summer showcase period was unexpected, not because we weren't anticipating a new Call of Duty game, but due to the trailer being exceptionally well-crafted, hinting at a mind-boggling adventure unlike anything we've seen in the franchise before. It was quite startling, but it successfully stirred up excitement for the next chapter of the thought-provoking series. ‌ However, it appears there's more out there than Activision might prefer. With the expectation of a delayed Season 4 Reloaded leaving players without the information they crave, they're eager for any minor detail they can get their hands on – and this could have caused a lot of problems for Activision, as sharp-eyed players have noticed a mistake that the series has made. ‌ It seems Call of Duty has inadvertently leaked a major aspect of its gameplay. New images from Black Ops 7 have emerged, showcasing mechanical armed dogs and highly advanced soldier suits, but what players are most intrigued by is a new mode called Skirmish, which boasts an incredibly unique set of rules. Time to take flight CharlieIntel and ModernWarzone have dropped a bombshell with reports of an accidental leak caused by a blunder on the Xbox app, which inadvertently broadcast confidential details about Black Ops 7 to all app users. According to the leaked message, players can look forward to Skirmish, an all-new 20v20 mode on a sizeable map, where the goal is to "Use your wingsuit to flank and reach objectives before your enemy. The first team to reach the score limit wins!". Beyond that, another gameplay mode dubbed Overload focuses on battling for control over an EMP device, yet it's the comeback of wingsuits that's snagging headlines. Wingsuits haven't swooped into the Call of Duty battlegrounds since Blackout in Black Ops 4, and considering the significant emphasis placed on a groundbreaking omni-directional movement system in Black Ops 6, wingsuits portend a revolution in free-moving combat strategy. The reveal throws up tantalising teasers as to what we might anticipate from Black Ops 7, particularly how it will evolve gameplay-wise. Past iterations, such as the incremental tweaks seen between Modern Warfare 2 and 3, make this news all the more thrilling – it hints at possibly bigger leaps in evolution. We'll need patience before any more reveals are offered, but for those keen on taking to the skies, this leak is remarkably promising.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 leak reveals new modes and screenshots via Xbox app

New details have emerged around Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, including two brand new modes and a hint at the new movement system. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 was officially announced during the Xbox showcase earlier this month, and while we know some details about the sequel, it's unclear what sets this entry apart from all its predecessors. Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, Black Ops 7 is a story sequel to 2012's Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. The campaign is set in 2035 and follows a team of agents led by David Mason and, as usual, this sits alongside the usual multiplayer and round-based Zombies modes. However, a couple of new additions to the multiplayer suite have since been leaked via the Call Of Duty Xbox app, along with a potential tease towards the game's movement mechanic. According to CharlieIntel, an internal developer-only Black Ops 7 playtest was scheduled to take place this weekend, which 'accidentally pushed the message of the day to everyone' on Xbox via the Call Of Duty app. This message included several screenshots which highlighted two new modes. The first is called Overload, which is described as a team-based 6v6 mode where players 'fight to control a neutral EMP device that must be delivered to the enemy HQ for score'. In other words, it sounds like a reverse spin on Capture The Flag. The second mode is a 20v20 mode called Skirmish, where players complete objectives on a large map in a similar vein to 32v32 mode Ground War. 'Capture points of interest, destroy payloads, and transmit valuable data to score,' the description reads. 'Use your wingsuit to flank and reach objectives before your enemy. The first team to reach the score limit wins!' Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. BREAKING: An internal developer message of the day for BLACK OPS 7 accidentally went live on the Xbox Call of Duty app showing new details NEW MODE: Overload NEW MODE: 20v20 — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) June 27, 2025 This confirms the wingsuit will return in Black Ops 7, after it was previously featured in Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 4. More Trending Earlier this month, Activision confirmed there will be no wall-running or jetpacks in Black Ops 7, as it is set 30 years prior to Black Ops 3. However, Stephanie Snowdon, Activision's senior director of communications, did say it will feature 'an evolution of omni-movement' from Black Ops 6. While it's unclear what this evolution will be, some players have spotted what looks like an exosuit of some kind in the background of one of the leaked screenshots. While it could be a cosmetic item, reliable Call Of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope has claimed the sequel will feature 'wall jumping' instead of wall running, so it could be related. Activision has not yet announced a release date for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, but a full reveal is promised 'later this summer'. Email gamecentral@ leave a comment below, follow us on Twitter. Call of Duty Black Ops 7 leaks suggest a new team-based game mode might be coming

(Image via Activision) A fresh leak has just dropped, and it's got the entire Call of Duty fandom buzzing. Black Ops 7, the next entry in the franchise, might be packing a wild new multiplayer experience, and we're talking big battles, chaotic objectives, and some wingsuit action. The mode is reportedly called Skirmish , and if the leaks are legit, it could seriously shake up the BO7 meta. A New 20v20 Game Mode Called Skirmish is Coming to the Game According to the leaked loading screens, Skirmish is a 20v20 team-based mode set on a massive map. Unlike your typical kill-or-be-killed multiplayer vibes, this one's all about objectives. Think: Destroying payloads Capturing points of interest Transmitting high-value data Each team has to work together to complete missions and reach the score limit before the other side does. Oh—and did we mention wingsuits are involved? Yep. It's giving Warzone mobility with old-school multiplayer chaos. Skirmish looks like it's built for flanking, fast drops, and full-send strategies. Where Did This Leak Even Come From? The source? None other than Activision itself—sort of. On June 26, the Call of Duty HQ app for Xbox apparently glitched out and showed off a few internal playtest assets. Cue screenshots flying all over socials, and suddenly, the internet's deep-diving into what Black Ops 7 is cooking. No official takedowns yet. No comments from Activision either. Suspicious silence? Definitely. But that's what's making the community believe the leak holds water. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 | Official Teaser When's It Dropping? No official release date has been announced for Black Ops 7 yet, but if history's any clue, we're looking at an October 2025 window. Activision dropped the first teaser during the Xbox Games Showcase, and more reveals are expected before August hits. As for Skirmish , it showed up in what's described as an upcoming Closed Internal Playtest. That means it's still being worked on behind closed doors. Whether it ships as-is, evolves into something else, or gets scrapped entirely, we don't know for sure. Leaked or not, Skirmish is turning heads. If Activision plays its cards right, Black Ops 7 might just reinvent the multiplayer meta. 40-player chaos, wingsuit drops, objective layers—it's giving Modern Warfare vibes with a Black Ops twist. Let's just hope this one makes it past playtesting and into our hands. Because honestly? This is the kind of innovation CoD fans have been waiting for. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded Release Date Revealed

If you enjoy smaller, quicker Black Ops 6 multiplayer experiences, the Season 4 Reloaded update has you covered with a pulse-pounding new Gunfight map. The next big midseason update adds multiplayer maps, zombies events and gameplay features for Warzone's battle royale mode. Whether you're looking to earn time-limited rewards, try out your Season 4 weapons in some new places or you just want to enjoy zany map reskins, Season 4 Reloaded has something for everyone. Here's everything you need to know about the arrival of Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded, including the release date and time, and what new content you can expect to see once the update arrives for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. In Season 4 Reloaded, Black Ops 6 players are getting deadly in Avalon. Activision When does Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded come out? The new Black Ops 6 midseason update will launch on July 2, including a substantial content package for multiplayer and zombies mode players. Here's when the Season 4 Reloaded patch will come out in your time zone: Eastern Time: July 2, 2025 at 12 p.m. Central Time July 2, 2025 at 11 a.m. Mountain Time: July 2, 2025 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time: July 2, 2025 at 9 a.m. One of the new multiplayer maps will look very familiar to Black Ops 3 players. Activision/Screenshot by CNET Two new multiplayer maps coming to Black Ops 6 One of developer Treyarch's best three-lane multiplayer maps from Black Ops 3 is making a return in Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded. Fringe is a war-torn version of a small town, where heated sniper battles take place down an open street and flankers scuttle through crowded buildings that fill up the sides of the map. The new version of the map takes place on the grand opening of a rustic-looking distillery -- too bad you won't have time to grab a drink with all the gunfire breaking out around you. Fringe is a medium-sized map for 6v6 core playlists. Eclipse is a much smaller map, but it has a really groovy vibe. This Avalon nightclub is streaked through with purple strobing lights, which could be disorienting in the middle of battle. Your battles here will be up close and personal: Eclipse is a small-sized map designed for 2v2 playlists, but some 6v6 playlists will also add this map to the lineup. The Fortnite-ification of Call of Duty continues as Beavis and Butt-Head join the roster of operators. Activision CODtoons: Cel-shaded map variants arrive alongside Beavis and Butt-Head event Fan-favorite multiplayer maps are getting a cartoon glow up (or glow down?) during the CODtoons event. Cel-shaded versions of Nuketown, Babylon, Skyline, Stakeout and Grind will be added to the game in a special moshpit playlist -- which means it's fairly safe to assume you'll be playing on cel-shaded Nuketown and Stakeout for a majority of the event. The Beavis and Butt-Head event includes a free and premium reward track, wherein players can earn the Olympia shotgun from the original Black Ops, a Pickaxe melee weapon, an SVD full auto mod and a CQB auto conversion kit for the TR2 marksman rifle. If you pay for the premium track, you'll have a chance to earn cel-shaded Beavis and Butt-Head operator skins in their most famous cartoon attire. If you want to deck them out in tactical gear for the true Call of Duty experience, you'll have to shell out even more money for the Tracer Pack: Beavis and Butt-Head. Hope and pray that you pick a map that has a mystery box location in the starting room. Activision Zombies starting room challenge is a new limited-time mode Treyarch has acknowledged the long-standing challenge in the zombies community with an official game mode. Don't worry about neglecting to buy the door -- you physically can't leave the starting area in this limited-time offering. This limited-time mode is available on all of the current Black Ops 6 zombies maps, including Liberty Falls, Terminus, Citadelle des Morts, The Tomb and Shattered Veil. The space you have to work with, wall buy weapons and mystery box, perk machine and GobbleGum machine availability varies by map. Each map will have a special high-round challenge associated with it. If you're able to reach that round without getting downed by the zombie horde, you'll earn 15,000 account XP points, a high-value GobbleGum and a GobbleGum pack. Warzone players aren't getting left out of the fun with the Season 4 Reloaded update. Activision Everything else coming in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded We've covered the biggest parts of Season 4 Reloaded -- but that's not all that this update will change in Black Ops 6. Here are the other changes you'll see with the launch of the midseason patch. Multiplayer The Party Ops limited-time mode is a new free-for-all playlist where players compete in different minigames. These include controlling moving zones (which force you to dance), a version of red light, green light and more. The three top performing players will each count as victors. Zombies The Abomination Challenge limited-time mode brings players back to a fully cel-shaded version of Liberty Falls. Here, opening the church door unleashes Mo, a special boss Abomination zombie that's always in its enraged form. Mo is a real threat -- this guy will gain immunity to weapons frequently fired at him, refuse to eat your tossed grenades and he can knock perk bottles out of you with his charge attack. If you can brave this challenge and defeat the boss, you'll unlock a special calling card. New leaderboard events will let you test your undead-slaying prowess against other Black Ops 6 players and earn special rewards for doing so. Everyone gets something, but the top players will unlock exclusive items for stacking up zombie eliminations. The Grief mode is getting tweaked. Now, you can inflict more punishing effects on enemy players. Revive-based GobbleGums are outright banned, and zombies spawn faster after a zone is captured on the map. Completing Grief matches also guarantees you'll earn a Whimsical-tier GobbleGum, which is a fun little quality-of-life update. Warzone A cel-shaded variant of Rebirth Island will be available to play alongside the multiplayer maps during the CODtoons event. Resurgence Casual and Havoc Amped are new game modes you'll be able to queue for. Havoc Amped lets you drop in with their full loadout in quick 15-minute long matches that ramp up as you unlock special powers when the circle closes. Players will now be able to call in a care package outside of the Clash game mode to earn new gameplay items , the Hand Cannon and Door Barricade. The Loot Master perk is the next way you can augment your Warzone loadout. It's a simple perk, letting you spawn more loot from supply caches. The Search and Destroy contract is a new way to get discounts at buy stations -- if you can hold off against enemy squads for long enough to set off a bomb. Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded will be released for free on July 2 for PlayStation, Xbox and PC. If you want to keep an eye on when we'll get a double XP weekend in Season 4 Reloaded, keep up with our coverage here.

Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is a little too quiet

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is expected to launch very soon, but it's nowhere to be seen – and fans think it has been quietly delayed The much-anticipated Season 4 Reloaded update for Call of Duty has yet to materialise, leading players to suspect a quiet delay. Black Ops 6 hasn't done much to keep players engaged in its fourth season. Despite a steady stream of players spending time in Warzone, it's ironically the game that players have shelled out AAA prices for that is falling short. ‌ The game has failed to provide any new significant content to keep shooter fans hooked, and as it continues to release silly skins that many feel undermine the game's atmosphere, it seems as though it's starting to lose traction, especially now that fans have been waiting so long for the anticipated Black Ops 6 Zombies finale Janus Towers. It's frustrating, but there's also stiff competition on the field with the new Fortnite Squid Game Reload mode. It's high time that Call of Duty steps up its game. ‌ However, it appears that any new update has quietly stalled. After the Black Ops 7 reveal as part of summer's showcase season, it was thought that the mid-season Reloaded update for season 4 would be just around the corner. But as we pass its halfway point, it's still absolutely nowhere to be seen. So, what exactly is going on? And when is Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded? Here's what we know. Why hasn't Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded dropped yet? Gamers have been left puzzled as Call of Duty has yet to announce its Season 4 Reloaded update, leading many to believe it has been discreetly postponed. The ongoing Rivals event in Black Ops 6 was extended without any public notice, and with four weeks having elapsed since the release of Black Ops 6 Season 4 on Thursday, May 29, players have been anticipating at least an announcement, if not an update, which has yet to materialise. Adding to the intrigue, Call of Duty has been teasing the Season 4 Reloaded content without disclosing a launch date, announcing new Beavis and Butthead cosmetics on Twitter and discussing the update on the CoD Pod, all without giving any indication of a release date. Given this, it seems likely that Activision is taking its time until it is confident it can deliver the update promptly. With this in mind, we can anticipate that Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 will debut on either Thursday, July 3, or Thursday, July 10, in line with its usual release schedule, but this has yet to be confirmed. We'll have to wait for confirmations from Activision to know the truth, but at the moment, it appears that Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded has been delayed. Hang in there, because it's coming. Probably.
